Metal halo or subtle illusion settings

@Cerulean I really like the last gallery you posted and love the compass prong look.
Anything on the shoulders? Are you adding a metal halo or are you leaving your girdle exposed?

I'm resetting my stone as well... with CvB this time. I'm not going to risk doing this alone anymore. I need some serious designer help to ensure that this is my last reset.... because I've had way too many of them in just one year (facepalm)

I'm going to do a really delicate bezel, or a very delicate faux bezel with compass prongs and also with kite set French cuts on the shoulders.

I actually recommend that you reach out to Caysie as well. I think she will get your idea and take it to the next level. I know there were some communication concerns here, but maybe things have changed... she's been absolutely wonderful to work with so far, super responsive...

I totally get it - I plan on leaning on a designer too! I was thinking Maytal Hannah because we’ve had great interactions so far and I had my heart set on hand forged

but I think working with someone will be a game changer! I’ve burned through my fair share of resets too! So I completely understand and relate to your feelings. It’s been a frustrating and money-wasting adventure but boy I’ve learned a lot and keep going to stores to try on rings or buying CZ rings from Amazon to hone my preferences

So for the shoulders - I am going to to the split tri shank (not sure what to call it!) but I will leave the girdle exposed. I am lucky that I have an OEC with a medium to thick girdle, so I’m hoping it’ll be safe!

I have plotted...too much....so many ideas come and gone...but i think I have FINALLY (famous last words) settled on an idea

I am really struggling to figure out the gallery though to get that cushiony look!
