Frekechild, What a awesome stone and the setting is perfect for it! Peridot is my birthstone and I know how hard it is to find a good color, well you hit the jackpot! Lovely! I too have stalked my mail lady, love it! hehe

Freke, I love the color and the setting with silver. It''d be great here in my Arizona summers of 115 degrees, it would make you feel a little cooler just looking at it.

What a gorgeous, glowy green stone!! And, I love the setting. I''m a huge fan of simple settings that let the stone take center stage. You are so smart to set it in silver. Nothing wrong with that at all. Silver is a gorgeous metal, and the good price point means you can set that many more things. Lovely!!

Thanks everyone! Due to SNOW in New Mexico in MAY, I am yet again wearing a sweatshirt...and my peridot necklace! I have had it for two days, and already gotten two compliments on it! I even changed my shirt earlier because it would look better when I was out and about!

Oh and my shirt is older, but here are two similar ones at Anthropologie right now:
Buds and Bunches Tee (oatmeal)
and
Tecolote Tank (white)

Oh and sorry for all of the exclamation points, I'm just super excited.

The peridot really shines best in the neckshot pictures and I have to say though, the first thing I noticed is your hair. You have so much volume and curls unlike mine that just sits there doing nothing.
