Agree with you as well. I understand the budgetary appeal of created diamond simulants such as moissanite, cz , amora gem etc but there is nothing like wearing the real thing!

Simulants are often a gateway gem to diamond, lol. Years ago I was on SimsTalk (not defunct) and the other diamond board (pretty dead there) and that better-than place (still going), and most of the people there who started with sims in 2005-2009 have worked their way up to a real diamond and have left the sims boards.
