Oh, @mrs-b , I didn’t check this thread for a couple of days and missed that your surgery was being moved up. Praying that this gets you some relief, and quickly. It’s hard to imagine how much pain you must have endured over the past few weeks.

Prayers for you, for your surgical team, for your husband. You have a whole lot of people out here thinking good thoughts for you.

Thinking of you this morning @mrs-b . My dad had part of his spine replaced at MGH-they are amazing there. Prayers for a smooth surgery and recovery!

@mrs-b I don’t believe I missed your video…I‘m hoping at this time you are out of surgery beginning your journey of healing.

I agree that you look wonderful..It’s hard to imagine that you were in pain because you positively glowed. If you could bottle up a recipe for your skin I would buy it.

I’m anxiously waiting to hear how the surgery went today. My hope is that you are fixed up..good as new…I know you have a recuperation to get through..but at least the surgery is over.

I loved your back jewelry comment..You’re funny even with everything you have to go through..

@mrs-b Thinking of you and hoping you will soon be reading all these messages of support. I loved the back jewelry comment but the "knees bent" comment stumped me. I wondered if it was an exercise for your back so I googled it and apparently it's a very apropos english colloquial phrase and a double entendre at that. I love learning something new! I look forward to seeing your comments in the coming days and knowing you are on the road to healing.

Ahhh... I was raised Catholic but missed that completely. Thank you for taking the moment to reply and let us all know that you are on the road to healing! Your PS friends, family and fans will continue to think of you and pray for you.
 
Oh @mrs-b, just catching up on this thread and SUPER GLAD they bumped your surgery up to today. I hope that everything went well and that you can start your recovery without the excruciating pain you’ve been experiencing. The first days will possibly have you wondering why you did it, but after your healing process moves along, you will be in a much better place. Your video was so moving and touching and I’m very glad you shared it with us all. We are all rooting for your surgical team today, the hospital team in the next several days, and for your husband and yourself for the long weeks ahead! Bent knees in MN for your speedy recovery❣️
 
Out and back in my room. Some complications and a lot more messy internally than he had thought it would be, but he's expecting a LOT of improvement! YAY!

Wow! I am amazed you are feeling chipper enough to share so soon. You're strong, tough, articulate, funny, and beautiful, to boot! Sending warm fuzzies for a excellent healing, and so relieved your surgeon expects a lot of improvement!

On the one hand, I am shocked that you are able to be here and post the same day - let alone hours - after surgery. On the other hand, it doesn't surprise me in the least. Whatever this incredible 'stuff' is that you are made of, I want some! :lol:

So wonderful to come here and see you had posted, and to hear that despite the complications and extra messy, things appear to be positive. To the powers that be, keep that going! Rest well!
