Oh hubba hubba, I love it! I can''t believe what a match it is with your emerald...they look perfect side by side! Almost a shame to make it into a pendant because I''d want to stare at it all day!

I carry a small mirror with me so I can gaze at my earrings and pendants...how bad is that

I''m so pleased with the way this tsavorite coordinates with the emerald. I came to the "stoners" for help and they really came through for me

I''ve been looking at the collections of some of the folks in this forum. It''s kind of overwhelming and a little scary. I must use discretion or I will be living in a yurt, with my gems. saying "my precious"

Honestly, this kid looks quite emeraldish.

Yes, this is the result of that very thread!! I remember your concerns. Gene and I discussed it. Because my emerald has good reflective properties, he thought that the rough he was using would be a good match. My photos don''t do it justice, but I''m more than pleased with the outcome. I wouldn''t have known to ask about this issue, if you hadn''t brought it to my attention.

This was my first venture into having a stone custom cut for me, much less trying to match a tsavorite with an emerald. There is such a wealth of knowledge in the Colored Stones forum and everyone was so willing to help. Thanks for such a warm welcome to a CS n00b

This project has been very enjoyable. The next step is getting the tsavorite set, so it''s on to phase 2. I''m thinking of asking Brian Gavin for his thoughts on a pendant design.
