Thanks Arcadian. I only got it back today so haven''t really worn it out yet, I''d imagine this ring is not very practical, but I do like looking at the profile, the basket is very pretty.Date: 10/23/2009 6:48:07 AM

Looks good!It looks perfectly at home in that setting.
The setting looks so high and the stone is set a bit above that, how does that work out for you? (I''m asking because I''m a minor klutz *LOL*)

That''s true lol, but if you have children the ring may hurt them and vice versa.Date: 10/23/2009 8:36:56 AM

-AIts so gorgeous and I love the basket too....
you think I''d look silly just wearing the setting around with no stone?

TBH I am not sure who set it, I did ask whether there were problems in the setting process but the setter was gone. I don't think there were any because the owner said if any diamonds falls out it'll be $5 each to reset them, they make sure I understood the risks involved. I think they're wary of setting a cast paved ring, but I was happy they gave it a try and took care in setting it.Date: 10/23/2009 7:46:41 PM

Great pic and your ring looks fab!
This confirms to me my 'choice' of that setting for a peridot that I have, LOL.
You must be really pleased.
Any feedback from your jeweler about setting the stone?
