What a GREAT idea!!! They are beautiful! I think I need to email my mom and ask if she is still willing to give me my great-grandma''s ER-I always wanted to recycle it into earrings!

Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I love the earrings and I get to wear the new attachments at least once a week as they are not too big for everyday wear. Love them. Best of all, I don''t have to break the bank for this recycling project.

To give you all a better idea of how they look on me, here is a new pic. Please excuse all the zits. Again, this is not a great pic but it gives everyone an idea. The stones sparkle a lot even though they are not ideal H&As. Down the road, I would like to make a matching bracelet with 5 stones or so.

I love earring jackets--I wish they were easier to find...

Thanks BrightSpot, you can always get them custom made. It didn''t cost me that much to get this one done.
