WOW! I remember the thread you had about the bridesmaid dress as a bridal gown, but MAN this dress looks every inch a bridal gown to me. What a GREAT idea and an amazing find. It suits you VERY well.

I''m so glad it looks like a wedding gown, my mom was a little worried...but I can''t imagine a bridesmaid wearing this dress in ivory, it''s very formal for a bridesmaid.

Totally understandable...I was reluctant at first to post face shots of myself as well, and I don''t think that''s a paranoia at all. At least we could see how lovely the dress looks on your frame, and it even looked like your hair was done really nicely in an updo, so with the exception of jewelry it kind of gave the whole picture anyway!

I can''t believe that''s a BM dress, either...although is it from Nordies? It looks ever so slightly familiar but soooo bridal and gorgeous.

Now I''m waiting for the fun details like shoes and jewelry, please share when you find them!

I just realize that I actually know a girl who used this dress in brown w/ pink sashes for her BMs. It took me so long to realize it because the Ivory has a TOTALLY different feel. Like I said, it feels "Bride"

It''s really hard to imagine how things look when you try on gowns that are huge. The clip things in the back help, but it still looks so much better in the right size.

The fabric really is lovely on this gown, I would totally recommend a bride getting a Watters and Watters BM gown as a bridal gown. The fabric is much nicer on this BM than most BM gowns. There is also about 5 layers underneath, much more than most BM gowns!
