Thanks RH, oranges and yingh. The emerald looks much nicer out of that setting and bigger too, for some reason. Now I just have to think up a really nice setting for it to go into.

I think seeing potential in something that's ugly is easier than in something that's just blah or ordinary. The ugly piece makes you look twice (eww, ugly piece! But, the emerald is nice AND I would have a bunch of diamonds too) vs yup seen those before *click*. Plus, I was on the look out for a nice emerald.
