It was a fun Platinum (I believe) tension setting with a large GIA E MRB set in the center. It was at least 3.5-5mm wide, and it looked really nice on his hand....
I can’t see the images, anymore, either.....

Side stones start at 7 points and go down to 1

Stone shrunk when set, but this is the fourth time I made the setting. Added the side stones! I just needed a bit more sparkle without taking away from the clean look on the top view.

The diamond is fantastic ! Just wonder if you make your ring a little bit wider ( arround 8mm equal to the diameter of the diamond), would it look more elegant?

I actually had it at 8mm and the stone looked sooo small! (I actually couldn’t get over the obtical illusion) Then went down to 6mm- same problem. My first ring was this setting without the side stones. It was 5mm and one carat. I forced myself to go go a tad bit wider for the new stone!

Just to clarify: what's the mm width of the setting now? I love tension style settings, but am trying to figure out what size stone:ring width I would want. This combo is PERFECT!

I’m deffenitally the right person to ask because I’ve made this ring sooo many times lol! Right now it is 5.65mm wide with the stone being 8mm. When it was 8mm (the platinum was also brushed) the metal ate the stone. I love the tension look, but I find it doesn’t showcase the stone as if it were in a high (prong) setting.
