This photo taking thing is very hard! I took about 40 just to get the 2 I posted earlier. I think I have a good ear shot.

Mara, I'll work on getting some photos of the faceting.

T Gal, I'm glad I have your stamp of approval! Your 3 stone and your style in show me are inspirational!

Wow, those look awesome on your ear (I actually typed "my" ear first, so maybe I'm projecting and coveting? hehe). You definitely have my stamp of approval!

:appl: :appl: :appl: Excellent job!!! They're gorgeous!!! :appl: :appl: :appl:

Thanks, Rhea! Wear the earrings in good health! They're just gorgeous.

More photos! From the sides, the crown height is very very slightly different. The one with the higher crown also has a slightly smaller table and a larger culet. I suppose one is probably an European Cut and the other a Transitional? Whatever the case, in real life I'm not able to tell without a lot of moving them around a lot to see which is which. I've been playing with them on my fingers, pinching them between my ring and middle finger and ring and pinky fingers (cue search for a large stone to put between them for a ring!) and cannot tell which is which.

I had a problem the first time around with my two earring stones being so different. Everything about them was different. These are slightly off, but I've seen antique stones in their original settings more different than these. I'm so excited about them, they look great on and are just perfect!

More from the side.

Mara, I'm not sure if this shows the pattern enough. It's actually really hard to take photos of these babies!

Erenchi - thank you so much! I've really enjoyed this project. Kelly at Images did a wonderful job putting such a lot of detail in such a small space!

Armywife13, Lucyloo, and Pandabee - thank you! I'm rather impressed with them. They look great from every angle and I just cannot stop looking at myself in every mirror I pass. Hopefully I'll get over that soon and trust they are there and just as pretty as I remembered!

Alene - Thank you! I posted one ear shot, but somehow it makes them look smaller than they feel in real life!

Mara - Your taste in old cuts is so great! I tried to get better photos, though it's actually very hard. They aren't a perfect match, but they are a great match and I'm very pleased!

SparklyOEC, GreyCat, Skippy, lknvb4, Tacori, Canuk-Gal, brightice, RubyBeth, purplesilk - Thank you!

Kim - were you able to find the ring at AER?

Laila - thank you! I think that's my favorite part!

Yenny - thank you! You have such great taste in diamonds and ring that it means a lot! I'm working on better ear shots so hope to have some soon.

Sorellehome - waxes are weird, aren't they? When they sent me them I wasn't sure what to think. I think they're great for the record, but they aren't pretty!

Webdiva - Your new earrings are great! I need to go comment in your thread!

Christina - they do droop a bit, I think they are just very heavy. I'm glad that I didn't go for platinum! I was putting on the backs so tightly I was leaving marks in my ears. I've taken the large tension backs off of my pearls and been playing with those and it's more comfortable. I think I'm going to look for some gold ones.

Cachette - they are huge! I think the stones are 5.9 to 6 mm. I feel somewhat self-conscious wearing them at the moment, though I'm sure that's just because they are new. I don't flatter myself that anyone else - except PSers - would notice them in real life. And I'm realising that I could go bigger. I've had 4 pairs of diamond earrings and double to triple the carat weight each time so watch this space for 3.7 tcw in the future ;) - kidding!

T-Gal - thanks! Your ring was definitely top of rings I showed the designer. You have excellent taste! And you're more than welcome to borrow them in exchange for your gorgeous 3 stone :halo:

Thanks Rhea for posting more upclose and personal shots of the studs! They are beautiful stones in a gorgeous setting! I love your one ear shot --- should the camera come out again, it would be acceptable to post more. We wouldn't mind!!! :naughty: :Up_to_something: :wink2:

Very nice Rhea! They turned out beautifully. And I think they are a very nice match -- I totally believe you and know that for stones that size, that amount of "difference" in faceting is NOT evident in real life! They look divine, a really nice end to a long project!
