And now here are my pictures of my purchases. The poor moonstone I couldn''t do any justice to at all, if I got the camera to focus I didn''t pick up the blue schiller and if I captured the blue schiller the photo ended up looking like a blue blob. Anyhow, here''s one showing the schiller.

The aquamarine ring is really fabulous. And huge too, or at least way, way bigger than any other ring I own.

I love the opal necklace too. I couldn''t get a good neck shot... everything was turning out looking orange and color correction wasn''t helping. I didn''t like the light chain it came with so I strung it on my omega chain instead.

What lovely buys, Kismet. The moonstone looks dreamy and the andalusite has interesting dispersion. I adore the creaminess of the aqua and the gold is so buttery yellow. The peruvian opal has a very interesting "picture"/dendrite. I'm glad your other necklace fits.

All of those stones are really terrific, but I have to say that I love the ring. Wow. It has a lovely "classical" quality to it. You have to get one of those Greek goddess dresses that were so popular at last year's Academy Awards and really show off that piece!

Isn''t the stone -- Andalusite very soft? Does it have dispersion? I''m going to go look it up. It looks so cool.
