Thank you, Catmom! I have to tell you that your incredible jewelry suites were my inspiration.Date: 1/10/2009 6:21:53 PM

Oh your suite is beautiful!! I especially like how versatile the earrings are. Congratulations.
I was getting mostly a ring here, earrings there, and while I could wear different pieces together, nothing really matched all that well. I decided to work on getting a suite together. I''ve talked with Rick about stones for a bracelet, and I''m hoping to be able to go forward with that project later this year.
Thank you, diamondseeker! I recently picked up some small colored studs in blue topaz and peridot to wear with the earring drops when I''m looking for some different color combos. Should be fun!Date: 1/10/2009 9:11:42 PM

So, so pretty!!! I really love the round-pear combination! And the drops make the earrings even more versatile!
Thanks, Harriet, and I hope you are feeling well soon.Date: 1/10/2009 9:50:03 PM

Thanks, coati! Actually, the setting is 14k yellow gold, except the ring stones are set in 14k white gold. I love the pretty, sparkly stones.Date: 1/10/2009 5:12:23 PM

FG--very lovely!! I love the rose gold too.
Thanks, Dogmom. I have always disliked my birthstone color (light blue) and my astrological sign. My horoscope isn''t me at all, so I tend to ignore that sort of symbolism. Now, if I had been born in July, I''m sure I would have the opposite opinion.Date: 1/11/2009 12:36:51 PM

What a lovely collection, Flygirl! I used to dislike having garnet as my birthstone, but Rhodolites and Tsavorites have changed that!
Thanks, glitterata! The little bird sometimes sits on my shoulder and gets all lovey. Normally he ignores my jewelry, but he really started chirping and pecking at the jacket, which made it swing. So I grabbed the camera and got a shot of him in the bathroom mirror. He actually belongs to my daughter, but she is off at college, so we get to enjoy the little guy even more.Date: 1/11/2009 12:53:48 PM

I also thought the settings were in Rose Gold too. They have a nice pink tinge to them. Gorgeous collection, Fly Girl!!
Good! I''m enjoying your garnet envy...Date: 1/12/2009 11:05:22 PM

That 5-stone ring is to die for! Well, all of your rhodolites are.... I''m having garnet envy right now....
Thank you, innerkitten. It''s 14k yellow gold for the chain, pendant, earrings, and ring hoop. The metal around the 5-stones is 14k white gold. I''m not sure why the metal sometimes looks a bit pinkish. The lighting in most of the shots was a combination of natural sunlight and incandescent.Date: 1/15/2009 5:02:56 PM

Yeah that is a great set! Love the earring jackets. So is that rose gold or do the stones just make the metal look pinkish in the photo?
