Chel180, thank you. That's the nice thing about the length, it gives a lot of versatility in terms of styling.

Misskittycat, thank you. I agree that removing the WSS was a wise move. It's already so pleasing in terms of color and texture, it really didn't need anything more.
 
that is one seriously beautiful rope, I love the way it changes colour according to what you are wearing, and it so suits you. A real chameleon you'll never tire of!
 
BabyNurse, your strand is lovely!!! And the photos are wonderful to see...I enjoyed them all...pearly ****! I have to ask, are the ripples one of the "holy grail" strands? If so, I am kicking myself right now.

Yes, they are, and they definitely deserve their own thread. I got to see them at the ruckus, and the colors and metallic shine are insane.

Thank you, bsomlo! I keep that box with the Tahitian rope, akoya and ripples on my dresser so I can look at it :)) And I will follow up with other threads; holy grail ripples are next.

just seen your rope IRL on that interview at the Ruckus -it looks even better than in the photographs - and I love the length on you babynurse. How many pearls did it take to make that length?
 
Thank you, Gemzy! The rope I'm wearing in the interview is another Tahitian rope that I purchased from PP back in January. The Ruckus one I've had for about 3 weeks.

doh, too many pearls to appreciate and get my head round. TWO cool ropes is the bees knees as we say over here.
