Need 2nd opinion on Aset image

And any feedback on the stone itself?

Let me toss a few other options out there.

IMO, overkill on clarity but it gets you a few ticks better than the K color, essentially the same money and is the same spread as the 0.91 G/VS2 stone. I say spread because the different proportions affect stone diameter. What you care about is great performance and best diameter. The 0.91 is technically 0.03mm larger but you will never see that tiny difference with the naked eye.

This one gets you a little closer to G color. I’d still like to find you an SI1 or VS2 clarity for money sake but this is reasonably priced. A few hundred more with the real sacrifice being mostly carat weight (mental perception it’s “smaller”). Again look at the spread. This one is average 6.11mm. The 0.91 is 6.18mm average. That’s a difference of only 0.07mm, still too small to appreciate with the naked eye.

Size wise this is a unicorn stone. Just barely below the “magic” 1 carat mark. Also it provides some color improvement. And clarity is SI1 which helps stretch your dollars a little further. However, it needs to be vetted further. It says inquire under the eye clean section and I can see the grade setting inclusion is a crystal on the table area. Looking on both the sparkle and brilliance videos you can see the crystal as I’ve highlighted and it appears black. The caveat is those videos are magnified so I’d like someone to actually lay eyes on the stone and assess how easily the inclusion is seen with the naked eye.

If this J stone turns out to not work there are other J’s right at the 0.90 range but nothing that is bigger of meaningful size to the H and I alternate stones already posted above.

I think it's a BEAUTIFUL stone! And it does get you over a carat. But I'm so biased. I love my K's! (I have a thread, I think, on the 2 carat K I wear on my right hand that is eventually going to be a three stone.)

I just quizzed my husband, because he's the one who picked the specs on my .91 F VVS2 Asscher that will (hopefully) never leave my left ring finger. If he knew then about diamonds what he knows now, would he buy me a K color? He said he WOULD because now he knows I don't really care about color! Just cut and size... (I love him so much! He's come a long way in the five years since I found Pricescope!)

BUT he said if he DIDN'T know my personal color tolerance, he probably wouldn't go below an I. He also said, though, he's glad you're looking at Whiteflash, because you really can't go to wrong with an ACA!

(We are both perfectionists. And we both love the stones from Whiteflash!)

I hope that helps! I KNOW Liza can help you, too! And @sledge is just AMAZING at finding beautiful diamonds!

I can't wait to see what stone you pick!

Hey @nauman8287 jusy following back up with you. Have you talked with WF anymore or have any other questions? No pressure or rush, just making sure we are getting you the tech info to make a solid decision for you and yours.

Yes in touch with Liza and she is very helpful. Hopefully we will be able to make up a selection soon. Probably we will stick to H/I color because as per my research it sets well with white gold ring and J/K goes well with yellow gold ring.

I’m glad to hear you are progressing. Also I think H/I color offers a good bang for the buck while still being safe.

Obviously J/K stretches those dollars further with the biggest benefit being a little more size. While I personally like higher color I’ve seen some great J/K’s also. I really can’t stress enough it depends more on the preferences and desires of the one wearing the ring.

One K that sticks out to me as great is @lovedogs CBI stone (similar to ACA but by a now defunct vendor HPD). Maybe she will share a pic or two for comparison.

My wife’s stone is a BGD Blue (again similar to ACA but a different vendor) and is H/VS2 and of similar size to what you are looking at. Additionally her setting is a WG/palladium alloy mix. I wanted to do platinum myself but it patinas over time and my wife was all about the shiny at the time of purchase.

Below is a video. You can see the pavilion is fairly exposed and there is some color visible but overall it works well together IMO.

Others here have beautiful stones & settings too that I hope they will share to give you some additional visual reference so you can determine what works best for you and yours.
