Need help please...

Hi all,
This is my current engagement ring and I really love the baguettes but I wish the baguettes have 2 or 3 row instead 1 each side ( wider )
I know my center stone not big and need to pick something not make the center stone look more smaller but I still want a little wider setting so sometime I can just wear single ring ( just engagement ring only ) without wedding band
I tried to look for setting with 2-3 row baguettes on the side of the setting but no luck so far instead found one semi mount with princess and baguettes and the other all princess.
Is there any website that I can shop for semi mount with baguettes? Or any of this two semi mount you think will be nice for my Asscher Cut? Or just let the way it is now with just simple and classic looking?
Please help give me some advice?

( And I prefer platinum for semi mount )

This is what I found.
The center they can change to fit for Asscher Cut.
The width of this semi mount is around 7mm.

You could just as easily have what you want made just for you. Yes a bit more expensive than “ready made” (though any semi mount with lots of work and diamonds will be pricey) but the benefit is that it will be exactly what you want.

IMO, I think the setting you found would kind of swallow up and distract from your pretty diamond.

What do you think of something like this, which I think could definitely be more ‘stand-alone’ type ring if/when you want, and it would showcase your beauty nicely. It may be possible to customize it with a different type of melee; you’d have to inquire to Sholdt or an authorized retailer to find out though.

I think the setting you have is the best for your diamond. If you put a wide band around it with diamonds, your stone is only going to get lost and look smaller. Your current setting is very elegant and the right size for your stone. The pictures of these others are not the right style AT ALL to go with your asscher!

Although I understand the desire for "more", I agree. Clean lines and classic. Sometimes, as I have found out three times with my asscher, resetting for "more" can be costly & disappointing.
Maybe think about a narrow carre cut eternity?

I agree that those settings are a bit much for your stone. If you’re looking to dress things up a bit, how about a delicate pave band?

I agree with all of this. Custom-made is going to be the Avenue you want to travel to prevent that beautiful step cut from getting lost in metal, and more bling.
You can have a platinum band made with stacked baguettes, set just about any way you desire. You could even create a platinum band with single row, or double rows of carre cut diamonds. Either style will compliment your center Asscher, without overwhelming it. If this were me*, I’d keep the width between 3mm-5mm, max. Sometimes, less is more.

I have to agree with the other posters. I think your setting is perfect for your diamond and if you go wider your beautiful asscher will get lost in the new setting and not hold her own anymore. Maybe you could satisfy your desire for a wider setting with a wider band on your other hand? Sort of an alternative wedding band? And you can do the baguette setting all by itself in a wider band on your other hand.

Your setting now is elegant and classic and perfect. IMO. But the heart wants what the heart wants and I say consider another band on your other hand or at least another finger keeping your beautiful ER as is.

Keep in mind there is NO right or wrong here however and you do what makes your heart sing. Period. Just offering advice cause you asked. Good luck with your decision.

I have to see if they can do 2-3 rows baguettes wedding band or get the 7mm band with baguettes as a right hand ring.

I understand getting hit by the bling bug. I just got my square step eternity band after doing plain for 10 years. And it was like my Asscher "woke up!" I'm not kidding! Yesterday, my hubby said we needed to go grocery shopping and I said, "Oh good! They have great lighting for my rings in there!"

All that side bling will distract from a VERY stunning asscher that deserves the spotlight. I second all the posters. Get stacking bands if you want more bling. And the settings you posted will just bring down your beautiful stone.

Pretty hard to shop online because can’t see it in person but I’m very happy with it.
For SI1 clarity consider very very clean even under 10x loup look so clean.

Okay after all the helpful advice I got from everyone here I decide to keep my engagement as it is and I love the baguette on the side BUT one think that I don’t like is my prong now don’t have the clean looking I’m looking for.
Not sure what it call but I don’t like the horizontal thing LOL
( the one with the red arrow on first picture ).
So I found semi mount that very similar with the setting I got now but without the horizon thing
( second picture )
My queation now is if I reset my stone to the other semi mount is it safe/secure enough for the center stone?
