Thanks for all your help Stone cold!!
I just googled GIA + H&A and now I see what you and my gemologist are saying about GIA not really dealing with H&A patterns. It's not inscribed on the girlde though. Very interesting none the less....very interesting!

yap, weird that the cutter did not inscribe on the girdle when he knows it is a H&A, but who cares?
