My sapphire, with my mom''s! Mine is the 6.9 mm, hers is 6 mm.

The little guy seems to have a more silky type glow than the bigger. I think because it is unheated and has more needle inclusions than the bigger. It''s cool to see the difference in how they look because of this!

and last but not least- the color change! They both change to purple in fake lighting situations, but the smaller...

a gorgeous nearly tanzanite type purple. incredible! my color change shots aren''t nearly as good as barry''s though.
