Thanks! The pillbox belonged to soon to be hubbies grandmother (fathers mother) His dad is 84 and gave it to me recently. I really love it because it such a soft glowy piece as well as the history behind it.

Unfortunately I don''t know a lot about pearl or shell pieces and their care. There are some blacks spots on it...maybe from age/time.
