I''m going to have some strict raw foodists at my wedding. I have to figure out how to deal with that

Oy. Sashimi and salad? Yikes. Do they eat raw fish? Or is it raw grains and greens only? Yikes!
I was thinking about just serving them a plate of grass....

Hahaha! I''m not quite sure they are willing to even eat raw fish. I know how to make a killer raw ice cream that they will eat. I think I''m just going to have a really nice raw salad for them or see if they will lighten up a bit and eat raw fish (I would LOVE to have sushi and sashimi at my wedding, but it was so expensive when we looked into it and SO doesn''t even eat it so he can care less).
LOL. I''ve had to feed vegans (breakfast so oatmeal with lots of fresh fruit) but never someone on a raw food diet. Good luck!

Indy, I agree with what you said about guests. I''m a HOST, that means I''m responsible to the extent that it''s feasible for me, for their comfort.

I know the feeling.
I have a vegan who is a BM so I will definitely have something for her, vegitarians, celiacs (can''t eat wheat gluten), kosher and a number of family mambers who can''t have ANY alcohol, not as a sauce for the meat and not as something to soak in the cake. I personally can''t have anything even the slightest bit spicy or I get very sick while my Fi and his family love spicy things. Just know it could be worse!

That''s great that your restaurant are providing a vege option. Our hotel provides options also and I wouldn''t think of having it any other way. I want my vegetarian guests to have a lovely meal also.

Sorry to get off topic, but Brazen, I am the exact same way. And here I thought I was the only one. I always have to ask if anything so much as contains the slightest bit of peppers b/c otherwise I''ll be sick for days.

Brazen and Fancy -- my mom used to be allergic to cheese, although she seems to have "grown out of it" in the past couple years. It''s shocking how EVERYTHING at restaurants has cheese hidden in it somewhere, and how unwilling they are to make dishes without...so I can definitely sympathize with your plight!
