Good morning lovely ladies. Happy big and small dog Sunday
@mrs-b GORGEOUS bling!! SWOON!!!
@springerspaniel good luck with your proposal my fingers and toes are crossed for you!!
@Slickk @bling_dream19 @canuk-gal @Austina @marcy and everyone else...hope you are all having a terrific weekend
We had Greg's family reunion last night and it was very enjoyable. Unfortunately Tommy is not eating and has not eaten since Friday night. So now we are scrambling. Sunday. No one but the animal hospital open and I do not trust them. It's very serious when an older cat stops eating and we have tried everything we know. Remeron, Cerenia, etc. To no avail. I was compartmentalizing last night hoping the meds would stimulate his appetite but no such luck. And this AM he continues to refuse all food. UGH. So worried. Sorry to ask again but if you could just think good thoughts for our Sir Tommy I would greatly appreciate it.
Leaving you with two photos from yesterday. This is all we took of us because we were busy enjoying the venue. It was like a wedding.
Have a great day girls. XOXO
You two make such a lovely couple, @missy!
I hope you get some resolution with Tommy's appetite--so frustrating when there is no vet care open that you trust.
HI:
@missy healing vibes across the miles for Sir Thomas!!! Safe trip to the Vet!
PS you guys look wonderful.. Glad you had a great time!
cheers--Sharon
Very unhappy update: Tommy is still not eating and this morning Bobby has refused all food too. Greg thinks it is a coincidence (and thankfully Oliver and Gracie are eating) but I'm worried sick. I am remaining calm but have no clue what is happening. I have tried salmon, tuna, treats, everything. The fact Bobby won't eat now is crazy worrisome because he never refuses food. Is it something environmental? Could it be a coincidence as Greg says? I don't believe in coincidences tbh. Tommy is around 17 yo but Bobby is only 15 yo. Are we going to lose them both?
@missy - this is probably no consolation, but my dogs' appetites have been swinging, at best, over the last few weeks. We're putting it down to the wild changes in the weather. Ballin's allergies are through the roof, and both dogs have upset tummies. So all that to say - could it be the weather? A simple suggestion, I know, but I've seen this sort of thing many times with my dogs.
Sending you love and hugs!
@Austina - seriously - at what point do you simply throw ice cubes in the pool??!!
@canuk-gal - I really hope your DH gets a few good days before you come home. I can't tell you how many times Tim or I have been sick on vacation, and it sucks the big one! Hoping *you*, however, are enjoying many drinks by the pool!!
