Now I really did it :((

Good morning lovely ladies. I am off to a medical appointment in the city so just a quick hello.
Happy Caturday Saturday.
We went hiking yesterday and it was challenging but not as harrowing as the day before.
This morning Bobby hardly ate so I did the Miritaz gel (Bobby is very difficult to pill) and hoping for the best
Have a wonderful day all
XOXO

In honor of Caturday Saturday here are a few photos of Bobby and his relaxing skills :)

Well not the first photo...this is his attempt at working out. Let's just say it didn't work out

❤️ Sending Bobby healthy appetite vibes @missy. Hope your appointment goes well too.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weather is cold but at least the snow that was predicted did not come to fruition. I was happy cuz my DS was flying out on vacation and I was worried it might be delayed. Nope. Whew. Got my steps in at the mall today--got some new Ugg slippers. Tossed last years pair--that is my agreement to myself.

@missy I hope you get to visit your folks tomorrow. And hope you are feeling a bit more at ease.

Not much else on the agenda--low thrill-o-meter reading.

cheers--Sharon

Hello lovelies

@MamaBee, I don’t know if you remember that a few years back Colin had a double hernia repair. It didn’t put him out of action for long, so hopefully S will be fine. Not a worry you need, but hopefully you’ll know more on Tuesday after his appt.

Oy @marcy, you need Colin to sort out the accounts! I hope Marty is paying you well  Hopefully your weather isn’t too brutal.

I’m hoping your appt this morning went well @missy, and you get to see your dear parents, it’s been a while. Aww what lovely pics of Bobby.

Stay safe and warm @canuk-gal.

Just busy getting sorted for Monday, FT our friends tomorrow, then some final cleaning to do.

Big love and hugs to you all :wavey:

Hi NIRDI’s!

@missy I hope you get to visit your parents tomorrow. That software that Marty uses has the option to hire a bookkeeper, I downloaded the bank statements from last year and had everything done and figured out in a few hours. I guess I won’t get fired now. Ha Ha. That’s too bad the hike at a new place was not a smooth and easy walk. I’m glad everything was okay though. Marty and some of his buddies did a 2-day hike of a 13,000 foot in Wyoming. They camped over night 1/2 way up and they say some guy start at the bottom the second morning. He was by himself, he caught up with them and passed them and beat them to the top. They get up there and he’s on a rock eating MacDonald’s cheeseburgers. He beat them back down too. I hope your appointment went well, the roads were okay and Bobby ate. That movie was pretty good.

@canuk-gal good deal the snow didn’t materialize. We had a frosty morning, all the trees looked so pretty. Then we got freezing fog and now it’s snowing. Marty wanted to head to the hardware store tonight but luckily decided against it. He started working on his bathroom downstairs again.

@Austina I printed out last year’s bank statements and had a spreadsheet done in no time. Marty made a whopping $2241.69 last year at the gym. I couldn’t figure out right away how to run a report summarizing categories, but using filters worked like a charm. Now that I’ve got it set up, it’ll be easy to maintain going forward. Most months are the same bills so I just copy them forward and update the amounts. Have a nice FT with your friends and I take it you head out on Monday? Safe travels.

Since it was so cold and chilly today, I made homemade soup for supper. I was kind of relieved Marty passed on going to the store tonight, I read it was pretty icy out there. He wants to look at paneling for the bathroom he’s working on downstairs. Sheetrock is cheaper but panelling would be easier.

The cold and snow - typical January weather for here - has arrived.

Take care.
Marcy

Good morning girls and happy big and small dog Sunday.

@canuk-gal good deal tossing the old when you get the new..I might borrow that idea from you because the clutter is accumulating...I just bought two new pairs of sneakers and have 20 old pairs at least lol..time to get rid of them..they have thousands of miles on them so no longer useful. Glad your DS had a safe flight back home and that the snow did not materialize...yay!

@marcy gorgeous photo of the moon and Venus. Our January weather is the same...bitterly cold and very windy and snow is coming...6-8". I did not see any of the ferals this morning...we were on time feeding them but no one showed :( Bobby is only eating Churu and not sure how long that will sustain him. I am feeling stressed and sad and missing Tommy so much and yet we have to keep on going. There is no other choice. I hate winter and I am not in a good place emotionally. Thanks for the good wishes. And thank you too @finerthings-more on my appointment below

My dr appointment went well but he is concerned about my Chilblains which is back and affecting many fingers. The problem is the finger injections I was getting for the chilblains (and the only treatment that worked even if only temporarily) is somewhat contraindicated in Dupuytren's. The oncologist in Germany who invented RT for Dupuytren's told me I had to choose which of the "Hand Evils" (his words) I wanted to treat.

The chilblains cause a lot of pain (ulcerating fingertips) but the Dupuytren's also greatly affects my quality of life. Sheesh. But in any case, the connective disease specialist who is the only one who does these injections for Chilblains is booked through winter so I don't even think it's an option but my doctor yesterday said he is contacting her this week because he feels it imperative I get the injections. Of course he knows little about duputyren's but he kept saying my hand health is compromised and it will severely affect my bones in my hand if I don't improve the circulation...there are meds that could help but he does not want me on them because he feels I am on enough meds and another systemic med is not a good idea.

I am in a difficult situation but honestly I do not even care at this moment because I am missing Tommy so much and my heart hurts also over Bobby that my health is not something that is first and foremost in my mind despite the pain my fingers are in right now. Emotional pain can trump (haha) physical pain isn't that interesting

Thank you @Austina hope your weather is nice..we are getting snow today and tomorrow and from what I have been reading this is the first of many storms this winter. Praying the feral kitties will be OK. Have fun on your FT call today

@Slickk I found out my youngest niece actually was supposed to go back Thursday but they were away and she is starting school Monday...my parents always did that with us too but they took us out a week or two early to get a head start on vacation (we usually went to Disneyworld or Disneyland) and we came back at least a few days late too. I don't think missing a couple of weeks of school affected us in any adverse way. Anyway hope school goes well for you and before we know it summer (cmon Summer) will be here. Enjoy your Sunday

Hello everyone else. Yesterday was tiring and today we are expecting a winter storm into Monday afternoon. When I spoke to my mom yesterday we left today open. Not because of the storm but because they are both under the weather and I do not know if they are up for a visit. But if they are we will make the trip.

On the way to the doctor appointment yesterday in the city we passed a flipped car...on the other side. OMG. It was completely flipped and must have just happened...cops were arriving but no ambulance was yet in sight. I hope they people involved were OK but it looked bad :(

Life can change in an instant and usually does. My thoughts for the day

Enjoy a super Sunday lovely ladles. Be well.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

@Austina off on holidays again? Another cruise?

@marcy it was cold overnight here but the temps are rising and supposed to be very nice this week. Well nice for this time of year LOL. Glad you got that pesky booking done.

@missy sorry about your hands. And yes emotional pain can trump physical pain, sorry you have both. I don't have room for 20 pairs of runners! And for sure they are useless when they are worn out--just toss them!! (its actually quite easy to do LOL)

Nothing going on here. Need a few groceries for Sunday supper. Boring.

cheers--Sharon

Good morning girls..
@missy I’ve been a bad friend…I’m sorry..I think of you everyday and hope you’re doing okay. We’re up to our eyeballs with stuff so I can’t find the time to sit. The plus is that I’m sleeping from sheer exhaustion. My DIL’s mom and brother are coming today with Allie, Scott and grandchildren. Her brother is an amazing baker..and cook. He’s making me a carrot cake for my birthday tomorrow. Since everyone works and the big storm is tomorrow…we’re celebrating today.
Big hugs and love to you all.. XOXO…

Hi everyone. It’s funny; I decided to sell some of my jewelry, so I got all of it out and the more I handled it the more gem fever struck again. Lol OMG
So
then I had to come back to PS and make sure I wasn’t missing anything with you guys!
…. I hope there are no jewelry enablers in the crowd.

I’ve had a weird/unusual couple of years since I was last truly on PS. Two years ago, I lost my French residency due to a clerical error, and they refused to fix it.
I can start over, but I’m not sure I want to, for example… I got an income tax bill from the French government… There was a new law and my last three years of income in the United States was being (double) taxed in France. I tried fighting these things and started falling into a depression since I had been poised to move to France.
While this was happen, I had the most debilitating case of Covid of my life and developed long Covid, which is now getting better in the past couple of months.
At the same time my residency was terminated, my daughter decided that she did not want to raise her children in France and is a resident of the United States again.
At the same time, the petsitting rate for my farm in the US went from $1500 a month to $5000 a month (as my pet sitters, who were like family and lived in my studio, sold their portion of the farm that that I had partially gifted to them.).
And also… I swear this is the last thing… My best friends In France sold their house and moved back to England .
It seemed the universe was trying to tell me something. LOL
Two years later, I’m starting to feel like myself again and plan to stay in the United States for now to let things settle down). The idea to live in France was a noble adventure, but after eight years of the bureaucratic nonsense, I now understand why my French friends in the United States would rather live here. The bureaucracy is a nightmare, and living in France is like being in an HOA neighborhood complete with neighbors who keep an eye on your house to make sure you don’t paint anything the wrong color white.
So, that’s my boring life in a nutshell. I just thought I would re-introduce myself.
It’s amazing to be away so long and come back and feel as though there was a place waiting for me here. You are all so kind. This is quite a group.
~Jemi

Wow, you've been living in a health & housing nightmare--I am glad you are home. And it is so nice to "see" you here! You've been missed.

Is your daughter with you? Are you able to sell your French home?

Healing vibes across the miles dear lady.

Good morning lovely ladies and happy marvelous Monday!

@Jemi my heart hurts reading all you have endured and I hope this next phase is a calmer more joyous one for you filled with love and peace and harmony. France can be a very difficult country from what I understand not to mention other things which I will not go into. I think this was meant to be but it doesn't take the sting out of all you have been through and unfairly so. Big hugs and lots of love to you my friend. I feel 2025 will be a better year for us all. XOXO

Dear @MamaBee J, no don't be silly. You are a very good friend. I hope you enjoyed a wonderful time with your beautiful family yesterday and are sleeping a bit more easy. Sending you lots of love and big hugs XOXO

@Slickk hope today goes well and looks like we aren't getting too much snow but the temps are so cold. Fresca and Pepsi were waiting for us this morning yay. I pray all of them remain safe in these dangerous temps. Have a great day XOXO

@canuk-gal I hope you had a lovely weekend and all is good by you. Including but not limited to the weather. Any updates about your son finding a new place? (((Hugs)))

Hello everyone else. We went to my folks yesterday and it was a wonderful visit. Some of their friends stopped by and it was overall lovely. Today we are expecting snow but not as much as originally predicted so yay about that. Just praying all the outdoor animals remain safe and well. Enjoy a marvelous Monday lovely ladies. XOXO

Leaving you with some photos of yesterday.

Olive is a LOVE. She is my nieces baby but my mom loves her so much they temporarily gave Olive to my mom but I know they miss her. My oldest niece is away at college but my youngest niece is a junior in HS so she does miss seeing Olive every day. But they are such sweet girls and so Olive who loves my mom very much and vice versa is staying with my parents indefinitely

S, Thank you. xx
My daughter lives close by. We will still go to France, but only for the permitted three in every six months. My granddaughter will be homeschooled so she can go back-and-forth, and my French son-in-law comes here frequently. It’s a crazy lifestyle and a work in progress. As I approach 80, I had hoped to be settled somewhere, with a garden and a consistent social life, but the acceptance of the situation has proved surprisingly freeing in many ways.

Olive and Zoe are truly adorable and I love visiting them when we see my parents. I miss JJ and Belle very much and add in the loss of our beloved furry babies too well life can be hard to swallow at times. And I know you get it all too well.
Girl, if you plan on visiting NYC or the Jersey Shore please let me know. We can make a weekend of it.
I know you are super busy but just wanted to mention that in case there is an opportunity

Hello lovelies

@missy, I’m so impressed at how selfless your sweet nieces are. I’m so happy you got to visit your parents, they must’ve been so happy to see you. Would you believe it was below freezing last night in Tx? Colin’s altered the pool pump settings to avoid the water getting frozen in the pipes!

@Jemi argh, I’m so sorry you’ve been dealing with all that aggravation on top of having long covid. It’s lovely to see you back. I can’t believe that your farm sitters have done that to you. Hopefully life will be easier for you now and you can concentrate on getting back to full strength.

Happy birthday @MamaBee, I hope you’ve enjoyed the day with family.

How the house hunting for DS going @canuk-gal ?

We’ve arrived in Miami without any hiccups. Despite reports of road closures there weren’t any, and we got to the airport really early  Uneventful flight, checked in and are now relaxing after our very early start!

Got upgraded to a nice suite, not bad for $125

Boarding the ship tomorrow, still Caribbean but ports we’ve not been to before, on a lovely ship and new to us cruise line.

Be safe and warm lovely NIRDIs

:wavey:

Thank you, especially for understanding how awful it was that my friends sold part of my farm to strangers and made a profit from the gift. It has made me less generous, sadly.

Your trip sounds wonderful! I’m happy for you. Enjoy!

Good morning lovely ladies and happy freezing Tuesday. Super windy and super loud and super cold. Literally windchills are 2 degrees and the actual temps are 12 degrees and I am worried sick over the feral cats. Who I did not see this morning. Instead I saw a new cat black and white who looked like Gracie who went to eat the food we put out. If she can survive praying our ferals can too

@Austina have a wonderful trip and enjoy. Cannot wait to hear all about it (((Hugs)))

@Jemi it was a huge betrayal and my heart aches for you. People can suck and I am so sorry you experienced that. I always say "no good deed goes unpunished" but I won't let it change who I am because ultimately, we can only control how we feel and our behavior and we have zero control over others. I do learn though and I also go by the philosophy "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". So when someone shows me who they are I pay attention and it has served me well. I have PS actually to thank for that as I had made a couple of friends here who turned out to be truly lousy individuals. I am thankful for that experience and am wiser for it but it has not hardened my heart or made me bitter. Just smarter. Anyway all this to say you are a truly good person with a heart of gold and in the end karma will serve these so called "friends" of yours with a good lesson. Never change the kind sweet soul you are Jemi XOXO

@Slickk stay warm and drive safely (((Hugs)))

Hello everyone else. Early appointment this morning and the roads are super icy. And it is so frickin cold out there. I am so worried about the cats but nothing more I can do :(

Enjoy a terrific Tuesday lovely ladies. Be safe. Be well. XOXO

It was with incredulity that I read what your wrote about "like family" selling a gift of land. Shaking my head in disgust. On a happier note, I am greatly relieved you are feeling better.

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!

Bright sunny day and +1C. It is chilly but I'll take it. Did a big grocery shop today and my DH is out getting his Holter monitor on. Such is our exciting life. But I bought some gorgeous light apricot colored roses today--with big heads! Yum cut flowers make me so happy.

@Austina enjoy your cruise!!! My DH spends hours investigating them--I am not a fan LOL. Maybe he'll persuade me to go again. And no, we haven't found anything to buy for our DS...we keep looking. Hopefully what we are looking for, isn't that elusive!

@missy hooray, a visit to your folks!!! Cute pics of of the flying fur ball. Stay warm and dry and keep away of steep cliffs! Is is chilly here but I can handle it.

@marcy I work tomorrow but I know you work everyday. Hope 2025 isn't too work stressful and that Marty likes his new gig.

@Jemi much success on downsizing your gorgeous jewellery collection, but please keep your Mom's Tiffany ring! :saint:

cheers--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy wonderful Wednesday...our temps are in the 20s windchills in the single digits and wind is fierce. Praying for our feral cats who I did not see again this morning :(

@canuk-gal I am sure you are much better suited to the cold than I am..I never minded it when I was young but because of some of my health issues the cold wreaks havoc on my body now. It's too bad because I used to love ice skating and snowboarding and cross country skiing and we have taken vacations where the snow was beautiful for just those purposes. Grateful I got to experience the wonder of snow when I was able to tolerate it..now all I can think of is moving to a warmer climate lol. Course we would never leave the feral cats or my folks so it is a moot dream. Stuck in the northeast forever lol

Hello @Slickk hope you are staying warm and work is going smoothly

And hello to everyone else. Hope all is well

In the spirit of never a dull moment Bobby started bleeding again from the skin tag under his arm/shoulder and omg blood all over the beed again. Right before bedtime or rather right at my bedtime I should say. Greg cleaned it up and my real concern is what to do for Bobby. The local vet was reluctant to remove due to his low platelets and his bleeding and the fact he cannot be put under anesthesia. He had told us (as did the emergency vet at the hospital) that it was not life threatening but it sure is a lot of blood. Poor sweet Bobby.

Our freezing temps continue as does my huge concern over the outdoor cats. I know we did all we can and they are truly feral so cannot get them inside but unsure they will survive these days of single digit windchills. The wind is so fierce they did not even brave the morning feedings. We keep a dry food feeder open 24/7 so perhaps somehow they are coming-out of wherever they are staying to get food at some point during the day/nigth but I don't know.

Greg is continuing his research on health insurance and all we know for sure at this point is 1. the plans are exorbitant for an individual policy for someone under 65 and 2. there are no PPO plans. There are "luxury" EPO plans but they will not cover out of state physicians nor will that go towards the deductible. And 3. my very expensive meds (dupixent, pancreaze) which will each cost well over 50K a year if covered will only be covered at 50%. Cannot make this stuff up. Greg is still working on this and researching but it does not look good. NJ is not an easy state and neither is NY. Remind me again why we live here? Where our property taxes are crazy high and everything is more expensive? LOL If we didn't have so much on our minds with Bobby and the other cats I would care more but at this point in time I do not have the energy and trust somehow it will work out. I don't know how but I have to believe it will

We ran errands yesterday and my goodness Costco was mobbed. Doesn't anyone work during the weekdays anymore? But even on their most crowded day Costco here rocks compared to NYC Costco. That is for sure.

Enjoy a wonderful Wednesday lovely ladies. Stay warm. Stay cozy. Be well. XOXO

Some photos from yesterday

Hello lovelies

I’m so sorry to hear about Bobby bleeding again @missy, poor little boy :( it’s awful for you all. Try not to worry too much about the ferals, they’re savvy enough to be holed up somewhere warm when the weather is so cold. You do so much for them and they know where to come for food. I hope Greg can find a medical insurance for you, it’s a minefield for sure. The cost of your meds is outrageous, big pharma profiteering. Absolutely lovely photo of you two. Stay safe and warm.

Big news in your country @canuk-gal, let’s hope the future PM is better. Hopefully the right place will turn up for your DS. Honestly I was resistant to cruising for a long time, the secret is finding a line that suits you, or you’ll be put off for life!

We boarded yesterday and the ship is seriously WOW. So far, so good. Met a lovely couple at dinner last night, saw a show then collapsed in to bed. We’re on our way to Montego Bay.

Sending big love and hugs to you all :wavey:

Aw thanks @Austina your words are comforting and mean a lot to me. I guess no one gets to this age without suffering and loss and grief.

I hope you are enjoying a wonderful trip and it sounds just beautiful. Have fun XOXO

I just wrote a quick poem..about how I am feeling. I hope it doesn't make anyone sad but if you feel it could please skip. I wrote it to get out my feelings and it helps me to write it down. I don't know if it can help anyone else because we are all different in how we process grief. This is part of my process

So please feel free to skip. I won't be insulted at all. Hugs to everyone

I haven't titled it yet

@missy so sorry to hear that Bobby is bleeding again. Difficult situation for the poor guy. Cleaning up all his blood must be so depressing too because it's a constant reminder of his ill health. Has his appetite improved? You guys have been through so much lately. I'm so sorry. (((hugs)))

I hope you can get your health insurance settled and Greg can retire soon. My husband retired one year before me (we used his company's health plan) and I had to buy Cobra luckily for only a year before I turned 65.

@Austina I hope you have a wonderful cruise, I will live vicariously through your postings on Pricescope!

Take care everyone stay warm.

Sending my thoughts to everyone in LA and surrounding areas dealing with the horrible fires. It truly must be terrifying. Stay safe.

OMG the east coast is literally freezing and the west is on fire! I am hoping everyone is safe. Like @missy i worry so much about the animals! @Jemi thats A LOT going on!! OMG, I hope you can be happier splitting your time in France, as it sounds like it was a hassle! @canuk-gal I hope there is a seamless transition!

@missy OMG, i cant believe this is happening with your hands! Ug, i was so hopeful for you. I agree that it's easier to focus on the babies than on your own health. I will hope Bobbie will eat for you.

Good morning girls and happy terrific Thursday!

@finerthings thank you, much appreciated. Bobby's bleeding has stopped for now. My sister recommended us getting the KWIK powder yesterday which I did (gotta love same day delivery from Amazon) but we haven't had to use it yet. As for health insurance I am glad it worked out for you with Cobra. Unfortunately I am too many years from Medicare and this whole insurance business is a mess. They will NOT cover any out of state doctors and most of my doctors are not in new jersey. The monthly cost is exorbitant and the only labs they will cover is Lab Corp when I use Quest (they take appointments early and for consistency sake I like quest over lab corp). Greg is not upset and he says we can afford it yada yada yada but no. It's really unacceptable but there are no options here. It's unreal. Sorry for venting but I am pissed. We all know it shouldn't be this hard. And then friends share stories with me about how health care in other countries has many other challenges (long wait for proper care etc) but it doesn't make me feel better. Healthcare needs to do better and the insurance companies are making it unaffordable for most middle class individuals. My doctors are expensive (1K per visit) and I have so many of them out of state. Thanks for letting me bitch about this and get it off my mind. Right now it is not first and foremost in my mind but it is not helping my mood. Missing Tommy so so much and knowing Bobby is soon. And the feral cats nowhere to be seen and with these bitter cold temps and winds no clue how they will survive. Heartbreaking. So the health insurance matter to me right now is like a little annoying gnat. Swiping it away but I know it will be back. Hope your new year is going well and family is well and all is peaceful and calm and good XOXO

@Inked you are so right. It's like we are in some horrible universe and the world is falling apart. My heart aches for those in southern California. What a nightmare. An absolutely terrifying nightmare :( And the freezing weather here is deadly to so many. What is going on??? And it is not climate change. But we won't get into a discussion about that because ultimately that involves politics so I will leave it there. But Greg is in the environmental field and he is very very smart. I am SO SO worried about the animals outside. I feel sick and powerless and have not seen them for two days. :( Thanks for your good wishes about Bobby. We have to give him his steroid shot early this week because he really isn't eating much at all. He stopped even eating the churus so while ideally we would wait 14 days for the steroid injection my sister said it is OK to do it every 9 days and today is day 9. We only have one injection left but we are seeing her with jasper next weekend (18th) so we will pick up more injections for Bobby g-d willing he is still with us that is. I hope you are enjoying your beautiful bling and I cannot wait to hear about your new blingy projects . Stay warm and cozy and safe. XOXO

@canuk-gal OMG I do not know how you tolerate these temps. I cannot do it. I have basically stayed inside these past few days going out to run a quick errand and that is all. Forget hiking. Forget walking. Fuggedaboutit as we say in Brooklyn LOL Hope you are enjoying a good week and staying warm and cozy (((hugs)))

@Jemi good morning, hope your week is going smoothly and good luck with your bling sales (((hugs)))

@marcy I think we have Wyoming weather beat this week :( Hope you are staying warm and cozy XOXO

Hello everyone else. Hope all is well. We stayed in and played cards yesterday and hung out with the kitties. Today more of the same because the bitter cold is overwhelming. And the wind. WOW. Tomorrow its' supposed to warm up to a balmy 30s F lol. Stay warm and well lovely ladies XOXO

And this is why I now have to close the exercise room door when I workout. Jasper has tried to get on the treadmill twice now while it was moving...too dangerous. So now he sits outside the door waiting for me but I cannot risk him getting hurt. These photos are with the treadmill stopped. I was working out and he tried getting on so I stopped the program and took a few photos and then threw him out of the room. What a rascal

Oh and my beautiful nieces (beautiful inside and out) and I am being objective I swear- they are such good girls. They always do for others and are so kind, generous, smart, sweet lovely. My sister and BIL have done a wonderful job with them bringing them up to be stellar individuals.

On vacation last week in the DR

Thanks for letting me share. There is some right with the world and we can only hope and pray that more young people are like this than what we see on social media. Off my soapbox for now and have a great day XOXO

Sharon, I think we are getting your snow this weekend. Thanks for sharing it!
The temperature sounds very refreshing ?? there! Stay warm and cozy.

Hi Missy, I agree! We are getting Marcy’s and Sharon’s weather, although I believe they sent you most of it.
We have a prediction of snow here this weekend and as a native of Buffalo I’m pretty psyched. Unfortunately, it usually it only snows here for about 10 minutes, just long enough to take a little video.
I am sorry you have to be worried about your ferals, hopefully they’re just hunkering down somewhere until the weather changes. Those feral cats are exceptionally smart. Fingers crossed for them!
