Hi everyone!
Missy, I'm so sorry Francesca is under the weather and I'm sending lots of love and healing dust to her. It does sound like a cold and I'm hoping she's doing better soon. Congrats to Greg on his successful speech! Dinner sounds delicious and yay to leftovers. Love your pic of the beach! Have fun cycling, and even if you don't reach your goal you have still had a lot of good times on the bike with Greg. And have a lovely time getting together with your friends.
@Tekate, sounds like you are going to have a very fun Thanksgiving! It's great to be surrounded by loved ones during the holiday and nice to have something to look forward to. Lol to your son doing you proud! How have you been feeling in terms of pain? You sound better but have been thinking about how you're feeling.
@Sandeek, great news about the blood work! I hope your appointment went well, sorry to hear you have to endure this surgery but you sound like you're in very good hands. Hang in there and take care of yourself. Rest when you can. My daughter has been very busy getting the school year started so I have some idea how busy you are too.
@marcy, it's great you love your new ipad! Congrats on selling your old one. And yes, those aches and pains do scare me, I'm always thinking Ugh, what now?" I'm really glad your knee pain subsided, I totally get how stressful it is. Nice that Marty enjoyed the concert, my son loves music and going to concerts too. Dh proposed a trip to Las Vegas to see Aerosmith next year and he was shocked when I said "yeah, ok, I'll go" because I usually say I don't want to go anywhere. He mentioned the other day "gee, this is going to be expensive" and I said "well, from now on don't ask me if I want to go anywhere!" I guess I called his bluff. Who knows if we'll end up going. You really do have your hands full with a few of your employees, I can see what a headache it must be sometimes. Thank goodness for ipads and bling to help distract you from it all!
@Austina, glad you made it back to Adam's with no problems, and I hope you got a good night's sleep. You must be having a blast wearing Bella during her US debut!
Just the usual here, have a few errands to run and a few phone calls to make - have a lovely day all! <3
@missy aww I will make sweet potatoes mouseline, I always do, I'll do it for you. My nephew's wife is pregnant and I don't know when the baby is due, but I want to get to Brooklyn before that! it's a time when parents should be there and while my sister is not here anymore but brother-in-law is, my niece, my nephew's in-laws are still working so they will be there for a while.. but I'm expected the baby to arrive in late winter (april? mar?) so we shall see. Hey, the kitty feeders loooook awesome! I'm sorry about Francesca.. sending good healthy dust to your kitty! ID doc said that I will remain on clindamycin for 6 more weeks then I have to come off because it causes c-diff (ugh) then go back on the doxycycline as it's not as prone to c-diff. Marcy you will love this: She said that 99% of people grow out of their allergy to amoxicillin as an adult, but a few (ME) continue, she said 'maybe you are still a kid' ohh my husband loved that with a large YUP! he's a good guy. Glad Greg had a great presentation, love your pix!!! of your rides.. so pretty!

Before it was autumn and fall, it was harvest. While the modern names of winter and summer have been around for more than 1,000 years, the names of fall and spring are more recent—and less constant. This is partly because the two seasons were long viewed as secondary to summer and winter.
