Lol I understand. Try YouTube. Make an anonymous account. Post your bling videos and nothing else. And no identifying features. You can then link the videos here through YouTube.

There are other ways to do it but I’m not familiar with those venues.

Just a random comment...about weighted blankets.

After waking every morning betweem 2 and 4 am, I got out my weighted blanket last night and slept under it. Did not wake until 6:30am!

I know we have discussed these blankets before, but I wanted to mention again for those of you who have trouble sleeping.

@Jimmianne! I got one for my birthday! It’s still in the plastic..My daughter-in-law bought it for me along with a bottle of melatonin gummies! She got me the smaller size because (@marcy skim over the next statement..) I wouldn’t be able to pick it up. I dragged that box from outside and it was heavy! I pictured my family needing me or me having to go potty and having to call for help! Haha!
I get up at 2 every morning too and flip all over trying to sleep until the alarm goes off at 5:30. Did you get a blanket big enough for the whole bed? I sleep hot so also thought it would be too warm..

I got a double bed size for my double bed. I think the blanket weighs 12#.
I tried using melatonin, but my sleep tracking device showed that I got less deep sleep. I have had good luck with magnesium before bed. A few sips of wine at dinner wreck havoc on my deep sleep. My goal is deep sleep.
Maybe give the blanket a try? They feel heavy when you pick them up, but spread out on the bed it’s better...like being hugged.
Ugh. Elusive sleep!

I worked all week and am tired--but needed to go out for make up:bigsmile: because I can't stand begin ugly. I must say the stick shock for the Armani Maestro foundation was profound but I love the product so I'll just suck it up.

I thought of you @missy cuz my husband went cycling yesterday LOL (while I was slaving away...) as it was 9C and bright and sunny. He avoided the ice on the roads and had a hour ride. Good for the old guy. At least he took me out for supper last night. :)

Some silly weather is rolling in, so good time to check out jewellery online bwtween making roast and Yorkshire pudding. Kale salad already done.

I am seriously falling behind on the jewellery front , so many new PS jewels to ogle! Keep up the good work ladies!

I thought wine was making me wake up! I had a glass tonight! Oh well..

Mine is twelve pounds too..Did you place it on top of your regular covers? I’ll have to try it when I get back to Pa..
I don’t think I can take Melatonin because of my blood pressure med...My hubby takes it and swears by it. He won’t eat the gummies though..haha

Oh Gosh, this sux. Why can't someone just walk over to your house and say hola! and btw I THINK your house is too close to my border or some such thing..

I hope all goes well, in my experience knowing people who have this situation - it always works out.

Glad your mom is done with chemo for now and is feeling on the mend Scandi.

My mother is continuing to improve, thankfully. Only question is how the chemo has worked... this was the last planned round of chemo. It is given intravenously and works for about three weeks. So in another week or so she should start feeling better! But the strain on the body is pretty high so I guess it will take time before she is herself again. I just hope it has worked... it will take a few weeks before they take new pictures and we get the results from those.
So now I’m heading south for our seaside cabin / summerhouse today to look for “border bolts” (what is the right word for this??) that marks the border between us and our neighbours. One of our charming neighbours have taken out a lawsuit against us re the border. But we don’t know what he wants... the papers just say it has something to do with the border. Always something isn’t it. LOL. Laugh or cry. So I’ll try to make sense of the old papers (from 1920) where most of the things are “from big rock go north 100 meters until cross in stone”. Oh well.

I use the weighted blanket alone. Don’t remember why...maybe extra covers complicate things. I’m excited for you to try it and tell me what you think.

@Daisys and Diamonds Hello girlie! thank you for your kind words, my brother is going bonkers, he's bipolar and boy he's in the throes of it lately. I must say 30 years of his crazy-ness takes its toll on him and me now that my brother, sister and aunt have died, I'm his only family (besides his daughter and grandsons/1 granddaughter but THAT is a long story).. thank you again, very kind of you! xoxoxo

@Austina Hi Austina, it's frustrating for sure. So today we have a meeting at the 'gate' to the subdivision as it's sold as a gated community and it has a gate, it's never closed, fine by us, but as a community we will soon be taking over from the developer and so we must made decisions, someone asked if it was alright to keep chickens! they aren't allowed, but the developer said to work it out amongst the owners, if they aren't walking all over my property all day, I'm fine with chickens, in Maine I was always woken up by a rooster calling. People are strange..

@missy Hi Missy the marvelous, your poem made me cry.. you are so talented Missy and I have said it before, you are brilliant.. I am sorry for all this pain for you.. but I do understand it. xoxoxoxo to you ..

His former mom..lol..was a Lab and his dad was a German Shepherd. He has an ear from each of them..haha
 
@Tekate...Grandbabies are wonderful...but I told you that you will be sore taking care of Autie..and get sick a lot...I once watched Jackson when he was in between walking and being held....He wanted to be held and carried so I did that for the two days I took care of him..He had a little cold too. They picked him up all rested and refreshed. I bent down to get something off the floor and my back went out pretty bad...I had to drive from Maryland to Pa full of Advil..lol Two days later I came down with the most horrible cold and earache. I was sick for three weeks! I was praying, when I finally got well, that they wouldn’t ask me again for a while...:pray:
I love the ACA..I’m just use to a G color...When it’s by itself it looks very white from the top..but I can see the tint from the side...It’s still beautiful to me...I will probably just upgrade the color at some point..but I’m not in any rush..which is good because I don’t have any money left..When I do it I will do it all at once because you have to pay tax on the whole purchase instead of the difference. It’s not fair to be taxed twice. It’s not Whiteflash’s fault...but I won’t do that in small increments. I’ll just make sure I have enough and hope to get it to a G in a size I have now..or close to it in one swoop. I love this size and would be happy keeping it the same..In the meantime I’m enjoying it because it’s just beautiful.
We have chickens three houses down from us in Maryland...She’s a bit eccentric...Everyone just lets her be..She’s not supposed to have them but no one complained..

@AV_ that is pretty cool they have recovered some of the meteorite. We had a guy bring one to an astronomy meeting; it was about the size of a loaf of bread and weighed 75 pounds.

@Daisys and Diamonds a lady at work brought us lemons and candy canes one time; you stick the candy cane in the cut open lemon and use the candy cane like a straw - it tasted great. I don’t remember how they work as a straw but it worked.

@Niffler I am glad to hear I’m not the only one who would smack themselves in the face with a box - getting that that bling is important. That sounds like a great flavor of ice cream; I picked up some mini Hagaan Daz and Ben and Jerry’s today. I got vanilla, caramel, cookie dough, fudge brownie and cherry Garcia.

@Scandinavian darn those pesky insurance papers - that is always going up and covering less. I am delighted to hear your mother continues to improve; I hope the upcoming tests show positive results for her. Good luck with the border battle; that does not sound fun.

@Jimmianne I am delighted your eye is doing great; that is awesome. That band looks amazing with Joy. I love it. Yes, you have snow and I am sure it piles up like here. No we don’t get Monarch butterfly storms, do you have them there? Closest we would have it the miller moth invasion every year and I hate those things BTW. That’s great you sleep so well with the weighted blanket.

@missy happy Caturday! Work wasn’t bad yesterday; it’s so much nicer with NN gone. They keep it miserably cold at work. We didn’t have many plans for the weekend, just normal stuff. Warm, thick soup is the best. Marty wears t shirts quite a bit since he works at home; I rarely wear them but I have a few I’ll wear on lazy days. I am so sorry you and Greg are missing your sweet kitties so much today. Hugs to you. I hope Greg’s muscle cramps are better. That is great he is getting out for walks. My sister is good at getting her steps in everyday now. I am glad you enjoyed visiting the library. Sounds fun. You wrote a very touching poem for Fred and Francesca.

@Mamabean your setting and ACA are gorgeous. I like solitaires especially when they are gorgeous diamonds. As Missy said you may not notice it without comparing it to Libby. Once I see a tint then I’m always looking for it. I see it more often now in my new heart diamond but so far I’m okay with it since it’s just a RHR. That is kind of rotten you have to pay tax on the entire purchase rather than the upgrade difference. I didn’t know that with WF. Love the new pictures of your gorgeous ACA. Sorry but I did not skip the part about being able to pick up the weighted blanket. Marty gave me a test today hauling in groceries - he wanted to see if I could pick up the gallon jugs of milk and juice using my pinky and index finger - he said he’d be impressed if I could do it and I could so ha ha!!! @Slick1 it is hard to keep up hear; glad things are getting back to normal.

@Austina big hugs to you and Colin for missing sweet Dottie. Luckily I can do any work that is necessary from home; I think we have everything buttoned up but you never know. @canuk-gal sorry to hear you had a long week. I am sure you don’t need makeup; darn that the sticker price was profound. You DH was a real trooper going out for a bike ride.

@Tekate sorry your joints are killing you; I hope you are feeling better soon. I am sorry to hear about your brother. Good luck with rules and regulations with the subdivision; you aren’t even living there yet. When we build our house in 2012 we weren’t allowed to have a 6 foot fence by the greenway so we had to have an open 4 foot fence put in. Now they allow the 6 foot privacy fence which almost everyone else has by us and our new neighbor is putting up a 6 foot fence. If those vinyl white fences weren’t so expensive I’d change ours too but there is nothing wrong with it so I’ll deal with the shorter fence.

We got up early and went out for breakfast then picked up groceries. I’ve been working on laundry today and a program on stellar evolution. We headed back out for a late lunch about 2. Marty picked up his W2 from Fitness One, then we ate lunch and afterwards stopped by the Botanic Gardens to see their annual stained glass show. They have some pretty pieces. The plants and flowers weren’t looking too pretty. I got pictures on one plant and some flowers but other than that just took some photos of the stained glass.
