@Jimmianne thanks for the weighted blanket suggestion. I am so choosy as to my comforter and wonder if it would work if I put the weighted blanket over my favorite comforter...I know Joanne already asked you that question and that you use it by itself. Just wondering aloud. Also because of my "bad" toe I don't like anything weighty on it so wonder if I could position the blanket so it doesn't put weight on that toe. LOL I make nothing easy I know. But I appreciate your suggestion to us and have been thinking about the weighted blankets for a while now. Knowing it helps you sleep deeply puts it front and center again in my thoughts and perhaps I will try it. Could you send me a link (email or text or here-whichever works for you) on which blanket you have?

I worked all week and am tired--but needed to go out for make up because I can't stand begin ugly. I must say the stick shock for the Armani Maestro foundation was profound but I love the product so I'll just suck it up.

I thought of you @missy cuz my husband went cycling yesterday LOL (while I was slaving away...) as it was 9C and bright and sunny. He avoided the ice on the roads and had a hour ride. Good for the old guy. At least he took me out for supper last night.

Some silly weather is rolling in, so good time to check out jewellery online bwtween making roast and Yorkshire pudding. Kale salad already done.

I am seriously falling behind on the jewellery front , so many new PS jewels to ogle! Keep up the good work ladies!

I am sorry the week was long and you are tired but glad makeup provided you a pick me up though I know you are beautiful without any makeup. But anything that provides you a pick me up and makes you feel good is worth the price. I am glad your DH went cycling-lucky guy. I am jealous haha and cannot wait to get back on our tandem again. Though it is going to be a very long while. Greg cannot even drive a car for another 6-8 weeks. It's a long process. I am glad you enjoyed supper out last night and boo to the silly weather rolling in and may it not last long and may the sun shine brightly soon with mild temps to boot. I think that tee is a great gift to Marty and you can get one too and just wear it around the house or to sleep in even if you order a large size. Most of them are 100% cotton. @Niffler75 Oh I love ice cream too and while I am not a Haagen Dazs fan per se (never really had their ice cream that I can recall) I love ice cream in general. Since I have been dairy free and gluten free for (how long now? Not sure) almost 2 years ? I have been enjoying dairy free ice cream and yanno some of it is excellent. I am not missing the real stuff at all.

Weighing in in the weighted blankets. Haha. Like what I did there?
Our kids bought me/us one for Christmas. I really love using it. It just envelops you and does help me cozy in at night. I had it over my down quilt for a week or two but it was too warm and it also crushed my beautiful down quilt. We now use a regular thin blanket underneath the weighted one. Mine is 20 pounds and it is a beast to pick up. I also can see how it will be too much in the summer. I really do enjoy it. They say your feet should not be under it so we have a double size on our queen. It’s large enough.

@missy So happy Greg feels well enough to be out taking walks. We will have a mild weather week, hope you both take advantage of that and get out often. I hope you are feeling a little less sad today.

I read that about the blanket weight:body weight too but since this was a gift I kept it... I find it’s a good weight though probably technically too heavy for us both. I’m laying under it right now. It just makes you feel hugged when you’re sleeping. I love it. I can’t say that I have noticed a measurable change in my sleep patterns but it really is comforting to use.

Well you are quite prescient! I woke up with a cough that sounds like croup! John is sick too, we are now calling Autie "Bubonic Autumn!" Oh the aches I have too. ugh..

I have an "I" color ACA, I can see tint in certain conditions, especially next to my skin with has a yellow tint to it. When I observed the video of my stone and the stone upside down I saw no tint.. but this isn't my first 'I' stone either, my other engagement ring is an I color.. I see zero tint in that stone, but then again it's smaller, it's setting is much more metal etc. I had a D color oval stone and that stone was icy white (D color, VVS1, 1.01 oval stone) BUT that bowtie was horrid, it was my first upgrade in 1988! I traded up to the 1.61 I color VVS2 stone I still have.. but back in those days they were pushing VVS vs VS vs Fl... so I didn't pay attention to color that much.. the tint does not bother me per se unless I'm in a room that has a yellow tint to it, or brown, etc.. the bigger a stone is, the more color shows I believe.

So I love Ever, gonna keep her and give her to Autie if I have no other granddaughters, giving the 1.61 to Chris when he get's engaged if he wants it that is.. millennials seem to like salt and pepper stones etc.. anyway which way, its Christopher's.

Pain day!.. today.. super bowl day, 80 degrees here in Atown today..

@Tekate...Grandbabies are wonderful...but I told you that you will be sore taking care of Autie..and get sick a lot...I once watched Jackson when he was in between walking and being held....He wanted to be held and carried so I did that for the two days I took care of him..He had a little cold too. They picked him up all rested and refreshed. I bent down to get something off the floor and my back went out pretty bad...I had to drive from Maryland to Pa full of Advil..lol Two days later I came down with the most horrible cold and earache. I was sick for three weeks! I was praying, when I finally got well, that they wouldn’t ask me again for a while...
I love the ACA..I’m just use to a G color...When it’s by itself it looks very white from the top..but I can see the tint from the side...It’s still beautiful to me...I will probably just upgrade the color at some point..but I’m not in any rush..which is good because I don’t have any money left..When I do it I will do it all at once because you have to pay tax on the whole purchase instead of the difference. It’s not fair to be taxed twice. It’s not Whiteflash’s fault...but I won’t do that in small increments. I’ll just make sure I have enough and hope to get it to a G in a size I have now..or close to it in one swoop. I love this size and would be happy keeping it the same..In the meantime I’m enjoying it because it’s just beautiful.
We have chickens three houses down from us in Maryland...She’s a bit eccentric...Everyone just lets her be..She’s not supposed to have them but no one complained..

I have a Tiffany solitaire .72 that’s an I. I see no color whatsoever..I’m sure it’s the fact that it’s small..and well cut. You’re right that the color is probably more pronounced the bigger it is. We have the best cut so that brightness definitely helps. I’m smitten with mine.

My son is so petrified of SIDS, she can't sleep with any blanket, lovie, stuffed animal and we must have a camera on her at all times he actually want wanted me to buy a 300.00$ system. hahahahaha, NO, I bought the 70.00$ camera, what did we do b4 camera's? I do understand that SIDS has declined since they stopped having blankets etc, but a little itty bitty lovie? Gosh these kids are going to grow up freezing first off and unable to form close relationships with teddy bears, or in Autie's Dad's case, he loved his Pola Bear.. I mean we had to drive back to Dallas once to get the damn thing. lol.. @Austina I've had those dreams before, not with my current husband, but I had them years ago and I will still get dreams/nightmares about my ex. I pray those go away soon. I think they are going away bc I've only had 1-2 since we've gotten married. Your husband is so lucky to have you. You are beautiful inside and out.

I of coarse dream about a larger stone but I'm so sensitive with how things feel that I want to make sure I can wear a larger stone and feel good. I think I will I'm so happy for you . And super funny about your mom giving you the eye while driving. My mom actually loves jewelry but chastises me and makes me feel silly/stupid for enjoying jewelry. It's super annoying. Maybe that will change now that I'm married. It's your money and your sparkles make you happy and that is what matters.
