I'm feeling a little better, in fact. Tummy is ever so slightly more calm. I am, of course, much chirpier since David and Eleanor arrived - tho David leaves tomorrow. Tim will be particularly sad to see David go, since he's largely taken over walking the dogs as his contribution to the household, which has allowed Tim to concentrate on other things and get a few longstanding tasks done.
Looking forward to next week with its waaaay warmer temps forecast! Is it meant to be warmer there also? NY and Boston normally seem to move in tandem. I would LOVE to walk with you! What a joy that would be! I've been doing indoor aerobics over the last month or two and am really looking forward to getting outside again with Tim next week! He and I normally walk together, which I love, so it will we wonderful to resume all our conversations.

What a difference a day makes--CHILLY outside! Sheesh--could rain or snow. Rode bikes yesterday and walked to our favorite place for supper and today ski jackets! LOL
@missy LOL to getting shoes you don't need. I felt like that with my sneakers and my new cropped hoodie and joggers, but like you I want to support business!! My friend whose family owns a small business is hurting; diminished customers,. I could cry, she works so hard. I support her as much as possible. Same with our local restaurants--we were dining alone! One couple came in when we were leaving....

@missy my BIL is about the same; hanging in there. How are you doing? How is Greg? Yay for an empty Costco; I plan on going to our Sams club Friday and hope I am as lucky. Yes, being out in nature is very relaxing. I swear I didn’t send Wyoming weather your way. You new shoes are fabulous; nice to have the outlet mall almost to yourselves. Not good for businesses but nice to shop then. Your OEC studs are looking awesome.
@MMtwo when will you get your upgraded diamond ring? I hope mine will arrive some time next week but I have no idea yet.
@Polabowla glad your DS is feeling better; I hope the school backs off.
@Austina yes it is kind of sad a trip to the grocery store is such a big deal now. Sigh. I totally ignored my email last night and just sat down and watched TV. It was nice. Sadly I had to dial in and do some work this morning - stupid rain and baseball games. Sweet you signed your contract before the price went up $80,000. Good deal to get your plugs and outlets all arranged.
@canuk-gal who knew about black runners? I am glad some of the color combos out there are pretty wild. Glad you are enjoying your new ride but yes pretty rotten someone took your other bikes. Mmm to going to the bakery and even better getting 2 compliments on your hair. Darn our pesky jobs at time. Glad you enjoyed dinner out. We try to support local businesses too; so many have already closed their door permanently. It is sad to see.
@bling_dream19 nice to have a dream bracelet on the way; I’ll have to go find what you bought. That’s great they finally determined what is causing your mom’s pain; sending mega dust now they get her on the path to being pain free. Bless you heart for being there with her and for her; hoping you get some peace and quite soon.

I put up my iPads and Mac when I got home last night and never looked at them again. I simply watched TV. I had to dial in to work for awhile; those baseball players don’t play in the rain. We picked up groceries, ate lunch and I made a batch of 5 mini pizzas for the freezer. Marty is napping. I might go work on my jigsaw puzzle here shortly. We’ve been watch the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns today.

Hi to everyone else. We did get to enjoy walking yesterday despite the chilly temps and strong winds. It was manageable in the woods as we are somewhat protected by the winds. Today we are planning to walk as well though it is still pretty cold out. Looking forward to a warm up this week woohoo. Today I have to do the 24 hour urine test and let's just say it isn't going well lol. I am not going to share TMI but suffice to say I am already not doing a good job collecting the urine. Insert emoji here that hits herself on her head because that is how I am feeling right now.

@missy I agree with @bling_dream19, those little leopard booties are adorable. The other boots are also cute, but Rawrrrr, those little booties are so much fun. Thanks for the earlier compliment on short hair. I think you could rock it too. Even if you have loss for a bit (which sometimes does not happen, depending), it will come roaring back as beautiful as ever. You'll be beautiful either way. My neice and Sil and Bil came for Neice's birthday. Oh my, that little love (9) loves jewelry. She went through my jewelry box with me and went home with a score I gave her a miscut moissanite, amber and turquoise necklace (she looked so cute in it!) and other odds and ends. LOL...she kept squeaking and hugging me.
I love that neice and SiL love jewelry too! So much fun.

@missy glad you and Greg get to go walking even in cold weather. It was 64 here today when I was out - very decent for this time of year here. I texted my BIL this morning and he said he slept all night probably for the first time last night. His kidney appointment is this coming Friday. Marty can fall asleep on the couch in seconds yet he has insomnia. I have never been able to take naps. Sadly I am yawning right now and it’s only a little after 5 pm. Ugh to collection urine for 24 hours; I did that once and totally block it out of my mind as much as possible. Your new boots look great!
@MMtwo sending mega dust to your DS for his first day at work tomorrow. Surprise - pants need hemmed. I was so glad when Marty got out of the guard; I hated sewing patches on his uniforms. At least after asking me to iron his shirts I did such a bad job the first time he never asked me again. Ha! I am trying not to be too excited or anxious for my ring to show up since I have no idea when they will ship it; I am taking this coming Friday off so I am hoping that will be the day I can pick it up at FedEx. Yours will be here sooner. I can’t wait to see it. How fun your niece and SIL scored with some treasures from your jewelry box. I bet they were thrilled!

Sadly our weekends are coming to an end soon; I’m trying not to think about work just yet since tomorrow will come soon enough. Mega dust we both have a good week!
Not much going on today. Dee Jay got me spending hours looking at gemstones on Etsy. I lifted this morning and worked on laundry. I met Marty for lunch at the restaurant where the wind knocked me on my arse a few months ago. I successfully managed to get in and out of the restaurant without incident. Marty was cleaning his gym today so after lunch he went back to the gym. He got home a while ago.

@marcy thank you. Yesterday was actually not too cold and we enjoyed a longer than usual walk. The sun warmed things up nicely. Plus we ran into friends who joined us while we were walking so talking and walking made the day fly by even faster than usual. New bling for you soon woohoo. Haha that Dee. Hi to everyone else. We had a wonderful Sunday. We were walking and we ran into our friends L and J! It was such a thrill actually and we continued our walk with them. They walk almost daily too but they are also big travelers and have been traveling for the past 3 months so this was the first time we saw them since December. They both had Covid (no surprise because they were "living their lives") but thank goodness they both recovered fully. L is a diabetic too but he came through A OK. 2 weeks of being very fatigued and J only lost her sense of smell and taste and never felt sick. Anyway they looked great and we spent a wonderful afternoon walking with them.
Today we are planning another walk. Maybe a hike instead. Have to drop off my 24 hour urine collection and workout and then off we shall go. Greg has a work CC later this afternoon so it's a busy day. Sending you all hugs and lots of love. Be well and be safe. XOXO.

Hi to everyone else. We had a wonderful Sunday. We were walking and we ran into our friends L and J! It was such a thrill actually and we continued our walk with them. They walk almost daily too but they are also big travelers and have been traveling for the past 3 months so this was the first time we saw them since December. They both had Covid (no surprise because they were "living their lives") but thank goodness they both recovered fully. L is a diabetic too but he came through A OK. 2 weeks of being very fatigued and J only lost her sense of smell and taste and never felt sick. Anyway they looked great and we spent a wonderful afternoon walking with them.
Today we are planning another walk. Maybe a hike instead. Have to drop off my 24 hour urine collection and workout and then off we shall go. Greg has a work CC later this afternoon so it's a busy day. Sending you all hugs and lots of love. Be well and be safe. XOXO.

Hello lovelies
When we saw the house @canuk-gal the sales consultant did say she felt there would be an increase when phase 3 started, she also said she felt they would change their deposit terms and also the no escalation cost clause, so we’re not surprised it’s gone up, very surprised by how much. The Austin market is red hot ATM, probably due to lack of inventory and also the influx of Californians pushing the price up, so people are looking slightly further afield, hence the increase in the area we’re buying in.
Oh @missy, I just love your booties, they’re exactly my cup of tea, and your walking shoes look really stylish and comfy. So glad you’re getting out in the fresh air, we’ve managed to get out over the weekend, it was quite cold, but sunny. I hope you’re hanging in there and getting through each day as best you can. Wow, thank goodness your friends have recovered from Covid, it’s just one of those things that you can’t predict how it’ll affect an individual.
Yay to bling and vaccine tomorrow @MMtwo, who’d have thought we’d be just as excited about one as we are about the other? 
Love the sea horses, they’re amazing little creatures aren’t they?
Good idea to have a technology break at the weekend @marcy, and woohoo to going out to lunch, we’re looking forward to the time we can meet our friends for lunch and enjoy a bit of normality.
Hopefully the effects of the Humira will be cumulative and you’ll start to notice a bigger difference @mrs-b. It’s always sad when you have guests and they leave, makes the house feel really empty, we always feel like that when Adam and Kim have visited. I feel restless and busy myself with cleaning and getting things straight again.
You must be so excited waiting for your bracelet to arrive @bling_dream19, can’t wait to see a wrist shot. What a blingy week it’s going to be for the NIRDIs.
We painted the kitchen today, so that’s all the painting done now (apart from the sitting room ceiling which our friend’s son will do), so just a few small jobs to do around the house.
The thrill-o-meter will be in overdrive tomorrow when we go to Costco, other than that, nothing else planned for this week.

How wonderful all your hard work and painting is complete and you only have a few jobs around the house left. Nice going and all your hard work is going to pay off well I think. Yesterday was a good day. Enjoyed a nice long walk and today we are planning another and...drum roll please...if the stars align we will be eating outside at one of our favorite restaurants. For the first time in over a year IIRC.
I say if the stars align because I am only comfortable eating there if we can eat outside and they don't have a lot of outdoor tables and today is going to be in the 60s so it might be popular there and tough to get a table outside. If that is the case we won't be eating there. We shall see. But first we walk and then we go and try to get an outdoor table.
I cannot believe it's been over a year since we ate at a restaurant. I really don't miss it because Greg is such a great chef but it would be a nice change if we can make it happen. If not we will try outdoors at another of my favorite restaurants (closed today) this Thursday which is predicted to be another beautiful warmish day so outdoor eating would be sweet.

and staring at my new ring that just came.
Stats: 1.29 Vs1 L in 18k yellow gold (Ritani). I know this is quite modest for PS< but it feels like a HUGE ROCK. LOL. The band sits flush against the ring. I am quite happy about that. I may eventually upgrade again. This will hold me for a while though!
It's a bright stone and lively in person. It's a shame I can't capture that part.

The highlight of my week was driving 100 mph yesterday. It’s awesome when I find an open road on the way to work. We are in the country. It’s cute so many of you are excited that spring is almost here. My spring will tease us off and on for 3 more months. In fact we could have 20 inches of snow by Sunday. Fun!

We did get to Costco this afternoon, and managed to get away relatively unscathed
Rain forecast for the next few days so don’t think we’ll be going out tomorrow.
Still waiting to hear from the design centre, I wish they’d hurry up, I’m dying to pick all our interior options.

@Austina when I do punch it in my car I can’t see a car in either direction. That doesn’t mean some sheriff or highway patrolman can’t be on the side somewhere but it’s pretty safe to speed in the mile or so before turning in to our buildings. The benefit of low population around here.

I'd also like to share my new zircon pendant! I bought the stone from @CHRISTY-DANIELLE over the summer and I wasn't sure about ring or pendant but decided on pendant. DKJ has had the gem since then and I'm grateful he didn't charge me rent lol! Here is she is and looking beautiful with her friend Kismet!

I love going fast too and while being on an empty road makes it safer please be super careful....my dad used to caution me that a blowout could cause loss of control going at high speeds. Greg and I enjoyed the most marvelous walk/hike yesterday and there were deer all around. I wore my bling since we were going out to eat afterwards and managed a video with deer and Bubbalah together haha. The weather was perfect and it was a lovely day. I enjoyed a delicious glass of Moscato too. First alcoholic drink in a long time and well it was a nice change to eat out.
Today is a bit cooler but we are planning to walk on the boardwalk closer to where we used to have a beach house and very much looking forward to that today. Sending you all big hugs and much love.
