Now I really did it :((

Morning from Scandinavia!
I'm stressing around, or actually sitting very still and feeling like I'm running around like a headless chicken. So what I'm up to? Trying to plan (read: memorise) a lecture I'm giving tomorrow.
@missy, that does sound like a little bit too much running if you ask me. I think perhaps 6 miles is plenty if you do it every day. But if you like the time exercising to relax, how about switching it up a little and doing some core exercises instead or as well? I find strength training really helps with feeling better and less stressed.
@Austina, are you traveling a lot these days? Why hit the door with our face...? Not really a good idea you know... (LOL sorry)
We are planning a trip to Peru to hike the Inca trail in the summer. I can hardly wait. The logistics for the furry ones is insane though, because I need someone to watch them for almost 3 weeks... And I don't trust a lot of people... And with 4 dogs, its a bit much for my parents for so long, so we are very fortunate that the breeder of the two youngest ones are coming here from another country to stay at our summer house and babysit!
@marcy Any black ice on your roads? Here its been awful!
@missy, I remember both of those pictures. You look like a movie star in both.
@canuk-gal, hope you are feeling a little better? I hate being in pain!

Weekend is almost here. I try to focus on that. I'm so nervous about the lecture I'm giving. So lets focus on the weekend and the next competition that I'll blow instead.

Ciao!

Good morning lovely ladies!!! Happy wonderful Wednesday!!!

@Scandinavian thanks for your smart advice on the exercise. I do pilates and weight training every other day albeit I have had to switch things up since my dupuytren's started flaring badly so now I use wrist thingies to hold my weights and have had to adjust my exercises. I cannot hold any weight in my hands so have had to think outside the box and adapt. I cannot do everything I did before but hopefully it's sufficient. Luckily I am not one to give up easily. I think we have that in common :) Of course in my case I am just very stubborn and it would take a lot to make me give up. Do not be nervous about the lecture you are giving. I know you will do very well and impress the audience. You got this. I am confident in your abilities and skills. And I am sending lots of good luck for your next competition

Here's a picture of my wrist thingies
Not my muscles unfortunately

@Austina lol me too. It is an obsession I am breaking slowly but surely as I am determined. I "only" did 10 miles on the treadmill yesterday hahaha. And yay we got to go cycling after my morning workout so very happy about that. Today is rain so unfortunately no cycling. Purple eyeshadow used to be the rage. Glad you got your vaccines and congrats on Shirley's DIL's upcoming birth. She is going to have a lot on her hands lol with all those children. Hope for a healthy and happy baby. Hope despite it all Shirley is doing ok under the circumstances. Hope you enjoy a good day

@marcy good morning, how is your wrist/hand?

@Slickk happy hump day...weekend is coming...I think (not sure I have to check) we are turning the clocks ahead. When will we stop this madness. Once again I have to adjust all the timing of my time sensitive meds. Pain in the a r s e LOL. Hope your Wednesday is wonderful

@canuk-gal I hope you are enjoying a wonderful week

Hello everyone else. We went cycling yesterday and it was chilly but worth it. I used the heated vest (had to as it was very chilly for me) and it aggravated my Schamberg disease but it was still worth it. Today rain so we might go hiking depending how heavy it is but likely not as by noon they are predicting thunderstorms so that means I have to get my act together to leave before 9AM and I do not see that happening lol. And we do need to run errands so it is OK though the weather for the rest of the week looks to be not cycling friendly but we shall see. It is only March after all. Have a wonderful Wednesday lovely ladies. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO

Good morning lovely ladies and happy terrific Thursday!

@canuk-gal thank you. Yes, I think you are right. Chewy probably realizes we cannot possibly have all those cats we are feeding and we must be feeding ferals. I don't know what they think because we spend a small fortune on cat food weekly. But it was very sweet to receive the roses yesterday. I hope you are enjoying the week. Weekend we jump ahead an hour and while my body is on daylight savings time more so than standard time the changing back and forth is challenging for me and many others I know. I wish we could just pick one and stick with it. Have a good day XOXO

@Slickk and the madness continues. I don't blame you and all the others who rarely visit PS because outside of the NIRDIs and a few others so many are brainwashed to the max. They cannot see the facts right in front of them. They will eventually (or maybe not if they are truly that delusional) and it will be too late for them and their loved ones. It's crazy how they twist everything lol. Honestly I laugh about it now because you cannot make this stuff up. And feeling sorry for them is all the energy I have for them. Anyway I hope you have a lovely Thursday and tomorrow is FriYAY woohoo. Hugs to Bear and you and your sweet family XOXO

@marcy girl, hope you are doing well and feeling well and sending you hugs

@MamaBee speaking of feeling well you are in my thoughts and I hope all is going smoothly...big hugs

@Scandinavian good morning...hope you are enjoying a nice week and looking forward to the weekend XOXO

@Jemi spring will soon be here and I cannot wait XOXO

@Austina hope your eye is healing well and you are getting everything accomplished you need to and enjoying a good week (((hugs)))

@springerspaniel hope you are looking forward to a fun weekend XOXO

@finerthings hope you are having a lovely week (((hugs)))

I'm sorry if I left anyone out but wishing you all a terrific Thursday and sending love and hugs your way

We went hiking yesterday instead of running errands. It was very windy but mild out and it was a good (black diamond) hike. We are doing the most challenging hikes and I love it. Yesterday was a new hike and Aas long as there are no sharp high drops off the cliff where I could fall to my death lol #klutz

Today is another even more windy day but we are considering (just considering) going cycling.
When winds are over 25mph and gusts over 35 it gives us pause. So we shall see.
Depends on a few factors and we will decide later.
It's just if we wait for purrrfect weather we would never go cycling but it might just be too windy today and if so it wouldn't be much fun tbh

Survived playing professor. Now heading for the mountains. Such a weird and wonderful contrast. Thank you for all your good wishes and support.

Hello lovelies

Yay @Scandinavian, glad it went well, have a fun weekend, you deserve it!

We couldn’t believe what we were seeing @missy, petulant spoilt brats came to mind! Whatever a person thinks of another person, people who’re being honoured deserve respect, which was sorely lacking! If that didn’t show people their true colours - well, they’re just beyond disgusting. Windy as here too! My eye is a lovely shade of yellow today

We’ve been busy with the garden work, lots of pruning to do, but we’ve nearly broken the back of the front garden (and it’s nearly broken ours), and we’ll start on the back soon.

Went to trivia last night, it was fun, but we didn’t win.

Doing our food shopping tomorrow, and a final FT with our friends on Sunday, before they come next weekend.

Hope all the lovely NIRDIs are keeping safe and well

:wavey:

GM lovely ladies and happy FriYAY!!!!

@Austina yup, exactly. The words entitled brats come to mind. Not a good look. They are also super self Un-aware. Your eye is healing yay. Yellow from purple is good. Glad you enjoyed trivia last night and we are both food shopping today. Hope the garden work goes smoothly.

@Scandinavian glad the professorship went well and enjoy the mountains.

@Slickk happy FriYAY and glad the weekend is almost here

@finerthings any weekend plans? I am so glad we are in March and it was a long hard winter weather wise for us and the kitties. Looking forward to nicer weather soon for all of us fingers crossed. Have a lovely weekeend

@canuk-gal we went cycling yesterday because despite the high winds temps were in the 50s F. It was a good ride. We have gone cycling only 3 times so far since 2025 but I look forward to many more cycling days to come and I know you do too...I hope your pain is dissipating and you get an innocuous diagnosis soon. Big hugs and healing wishes being sent your way

@marcy hope your Wyoming winds are not as windy as what we are experiencing but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

@springerspaniel hope all is well and happy weekend and daylight savings time

Hello everyone else.

We went cycling yesterday despite the high winds and we are glad we did. It was good. Chilly but not too bad. Today is a different story. Way too windy (40-45 mph wind gusts and sustained winds of 30 mph) so we will be running those errands we did not yet run though Greg being the sweet sweet man he is went to Costco for us last night while I relaxed at home with the kitties. But today we have a few other stops to make and if there is time we will hike. Greg has an AM appointment with one of our doctors and then we are free.

Reminder we turn the clocks ahead Saturday overnight into Sunday. And while I don't love the havoc the time change causes I do enjoy the lighter evenings so something to look forward to.

Have a fantastic FriYAY lovely NIRDIs. Be well. Enjoy. XOXO

From yesterday...we saw a fox in our back yard and she looks great and we also saw Fresca a bit later. LOL we love the animals and welcome them all. Precious beings :kiss2:

YAY!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!

@missy no big plans here, just going to hang out and relax, maybe get groceries.

I ended up bringing our cat to the vet last Friday because her appetite did not improve. They took blood, urine and gave here two injections - one for nausea and one to calm stomach acid. Both did nothing, so I started her on Mirataz (appetite stimulant) and that worked wonderfully over the weekend until she developed terrible diarrhea as a side effect on Monday. So we stopped that and the doctor prescribed probiotics and Flagyl. I decided to only do the probiotics because the Flagyl has its own set of bad side effects. By midweek her diarrhea had subsided and her appetite was still improving. We were going to schedule an abdominal ultrasound if she wasn't eating well, but it seems she won't need that unless she declines again. We may never know what started her on this slippery slope but I still think it was the new canned cat food I had introduced a couple of weeks ago that set her off. All her bloodwork and urine came back perfectly normal. What a week she had, poor thing. ❤️

Take care everyone and enjoy this nice weather.

GM girls and happy Caturday Saturday!

@finerthings I'm glad you brought her to the vet and that she is eating now. Mirataz can be a miracle worker. I find the oral works better than the topical but they both can work very well. I'm sorry she developed diarrhea and relieved that the probiotics and Flagyl did the trick.Fingers crossed she continues eating and yes changing their food could have been the culprit. Thankfully her urine and bloodwork are all fine. Cats are such creatures of habit and I do my best not to disturb their routine in any way. Our local vet wanted Bobby (kidney disease) on a certain type of kidney food but he wouldn't eat it so I went right back to his regular food. I did start by incorporating a tiny bit more of the new food with each meal and did everything right but nope. So without hesitation I went back to his regular food and that's the way it's going to stay. Cats will stop eating and will die they are so stubborn. We never found out why Tommy stopped eating again. Over 5 years it was back and forth but this time he didn't restart no matter what we did. :( Anyway, I am very relieved for you and your sweet baby that she is eating again and long may that continue!!!!

@Slickk yay for Saturday! Hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend and all is well

@canuk-gal happy Saturday sweet friend...hope you have fun and enjoy whatever you do this fine Saturday

Hello everyone else. We ran errands yesterday as it was super windy and we didn't even go hiking. Got back late and called it a day. It was nice not to be rushing through errands as we usually do because we are fitting so much into the day. I am not used to be leisurely with most activities because my normal mode is fast fast fast lol. So it was a change and it felt OK. :)

Today we are probably hiking. Winds pick up again this morning less than yesterday but still gusts to 45 mph. Fierce. I was toying with the thought of going to our NYC apartment as I have not been there for a very very long time and I still have stuff there I could probably use here. But I am not feeling like getting into the car and taking that trip so unlikely.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend and don't forget...spring ahead overnight. XOXO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!

Another decent temp day @13C. Windy tho....we had planned to cycle after my lovely lunch out, but the wind was chilly so my DH nixed the idea. He worked out at home instead. I got take out for supper for him...nothing for me, as I am so full! I see we have snow coming in the forecast this week. Pshaw! I saw my pal's WF DBTY necklace at lunch today and it is stunning! Sparkled like mad--I picked a winner!!

@missy hope your temps are cooperating. Too bad you didn't get to your other home but I understand you've got to be motivated. Hope the cats and your parents are doing well.

@Scandinavian glad you survived the lecture, Professor! Enjoy the weekend and I hope you see your gorgeous ring soon.

@Austina how is the pruning going? Have you seen your son and family lately?

I hope all the NIRDI readers are well.:wavey::wavey:

cheers--Sharon

Good morning lovely ladies and happy Daylight Savings Sunday!

@canuk-gal the wind is overbearing at times. It's been so windy the past few days. It's going to hit 50 F at 4PM but it's in the 40s most of the day until then and windy again. So doubtful we are going cycling but hiking is on the agenda. We went hiking yesterday because it was super windy too. Boo to snow. March has come in like a lion for sure. Hopefully the snow is short lived and the warmer temps will prevail. Sweet you helped your friend get the DBTY necklace of her dreams! She trusted the right person and you did not disappoint. Nice job Sharon!!! Yes I am too tired to go all the way to NYC and I've lived without my stuff for years so can go a little longer. Though my green wig for St Patty's Day with my green dress and tights are all in Brooklyn. I was probably not going to the pub crawl and asked Greg to go without me but he really wants me to go so I am debating. I still am leaning towards no but buying some stuff since all of my St Patty's items (hat, wig, dress, tights, coat, scarf etc) is at our other home. I cannot get the same exact things but am getting green stuff in case I do decide to attend. I love my DH so much and hate to disappoint but honestly am leaning towards no (for my mental well being) but just in case. Hope you have a super Sunday and maybe cycling is in your plans for the day? I wish we could cycle today

@Slickk happy Sunday sweet friend...hope your weekend is going well

@marcy @finerthings @springerspaniel @MamaBee @Jemi @Scandinavian @Austina and everyone else reading..good morning

We went hiking yesterday and it was very windy but we were somewhat protected. I woke late today (figures lol) so am a bit out of it and lots to do. I always sleep great the day we turn the clocks ahead. Makes no sense haha but that's how it goes for me. It's now almost 7AM and the cats are all fed (we do that first thing in the AM before we get our coffee of course) and we had our coffee and breakfast and I have to think about starting my day. Enjoy a wonderful Sunday lovely ladies. XOXO

HI:

NIRDI shout out!!!!!!!!!!!

The beef burguignon is simmering and smells heavenly. We wanted to cycle today, but the winds are brutal. Gusts up to 80KM? Yikes. I hate that kind of wind. Not much on the agenda today--low on the thrill-o-meter.

Hope everyone is having a restful Sunday.

cheers--Sharon

Hi NIRDI’s!

@Austina I hate to hear you hit yourself with the car door. I hope you didn’t damage your eye. I did that the day before I was getting my senior pictures taken. I got about an inch long cut that required stitches and had a black eye. The photographer said they’d touch up the picture, but it didn’t cover it all up so we did a reshoot later. I am glad to hear your friend Shirley is calm and happy. That is so hard.

@Scandinavian glad your lecture went well. I always get nervous doing presentations too, which is strange since I taught for 21 years. The trip to Peru sounds fun. Yes, we get lots of black ice here too. It’s the worst part of those storms. Stay safe!

@missy my wrist has improved a lot. I didn’t lift this week and have been doing wristercises and using the heating pad. I will try a lighter load lifting tomorrow and see how it goes. I enjoyed seeing the picture of you and Greg at the museum. You are a great looking couple. You are quite active and dedicated to working out, I feel bad not lifting this week, but decided it was a good test. Tomorrow I’m backing off on what I lift. I hope you can get your US soon. Marty is getting a weather station for the observatory, so I’ll soon know how windy our gusts get here. This area isn’t a stranger to well over 70 mph wind gusts.

@canuk-gal our weather is bouncing all over the place too. We sure need snow or rain. There’s a red-flag warning out now. I hope the person at the gym is okay. I am glad your friend’s WF DBTY necklace is pretty. I’ve toyed with buying one of them myself.

@finerthings I am glad to hear your cat is doing better. Poor kitty.

Not much new with me. Work, playing with my new toy and trying to stay out of the wind and snow. We met some friends for lunch yesterday, that was the first time I’ve been out of the house all week. I did walk trash out to the trash bin today. Big outing for me. My excitementometer isn’t showing much activity.

Take care.
Marcy

GM girls and happy how did you get here so fast marvelous Monday. Just a really quick post this AM as I am running late once again. This time change is great in that I love the extra daylight in the afternoon but oh my goodness I am still on standard time with the mornings lol

@marcy yay so happy to hear your wrist is much better!!! Don't feel bad about not lifting last week. Slow and steady and you are very smart to back off a bit while you heal. I do the same believe me. Good luck today with beginning lifting again and yes please go slowly . LOL on the winds we both experience. I truly detest them. They can injure the cats and take down wires and trees and wreak havoc. But it's a way of life where we both live I guess..Cool that Marty is getting a weather station at his observatory. I love that. stay safe and enjoy a marvelous Monday sweet friend XOXO and may this week remain low on the thrill o meter for us all lol

@canuk-gal happy Monday! We are going cycling today and I hope your weather has improved too. Glad you enjoyed the b&b yesterday and despite not cycling had a good weekend. May the week be very enjoyable and may the weather cooperate and may your discomfort be dissipating. Hugs

@Slickk happy Monday...have a great week XOXO

Hello everyone else.
We went hiking yesterday another challenging trail and it felt great.
Today we are cycling woohoo!!!
Have a marvelous Monday lovely ladies XOXO

Oliver and Jasper are getting along so well now. It's super sweet to see. Though Gracie still screams at jasper for no reason. Blood curdling screams. It's really quite something to hear

Hello girls!
I have read your posts and I'll try to reply. Some other time. LOL. I'm just so so so tired today.
The weekend has been exhausting, to say the least. Friday: decided that the Pirate needed to trim his nails a little bit in the morning before we headed out for the day's competition, because he would have to wear booties because the snow was just so ice-crystal like and sharp on his paws. So of course I cut of too much, for like the first time ever, and there was blood all over, and whilst it stopped, it did of course start again out in the mountain and we had to head back home super early without starting at all.
Saturday. Started Runner. They have three turns. First turn: started with booties because of the sharp snow. He fell. Repeatedly. So had to call him in, and remove the booties. You can all guess how that went. Poor little thing, but he powered through, and on his second turn the snow was softer and he hunted like a champion. Third turn. Oh so soft snow... He is a big boy, so the snow did not carry him anymore, and he fell through and almost got stuck and was just not able to "get out" hunting in the format that is required.
Sunday. Started Link. He is lighter and smaller than the other boys, so I figured I would put all eggs in one basket and concentrate on just him , even if Pirate and Runner were also entered that day. Tiny little sweet somewhat weird and confused Link hunted like a true master! So we made it!! First price and I started to cry of course. The road to a first price was bumpy that day, including me not getting my revolver out of my pocket because the zipper got stuck, so my very kind opponent ended up shooting for me (it has to be shot with a starting revolver in the bird situation for the situation to count, to prove that the dog is not gun shy).
The air is now totally out of the balloon (i.e. me) and I think I should probably sleep for a week now. But no sleep for the wicked (competitive idiots) so on Wednesday I'm off again for some training. LOL

Ciao!

Hello lovelies

Yay, glad your kitty is doing better @finerthings, good news that all the tests came back normal. Always a good idea to get vet to check things out. If only to put your mind at rest.

So glad your friends DBTY necklace turned out to be a stunner @canuk-gal. In answer to your question, no, no sight or sound of them.

Yay for Link doing so well in the trial @Scandinavian and winning first place! I accidentally clipped one of Dottie’s nails too much - it was like the Texas chainsaw massacre! Not surprised you were emotionally drained.

Lovely picture of the foxy @missy, and Jasper and Ollie getting along. Woohoo to getting out riding, it’s been a long winter, but I’m glad to say we’re back to more normal temps how’s.

So glad your wrist is feeling better @marcy, your photos are amazing. It’s been very windy here too, so much so, they put a burn ban in place, and the fire marshal came out to stop some fence installers who were welding. Honestly, my own stupid fault for not paying attention, thankfully no major damage done.

We finished clearing the front garden on Friday, but unfortunately I haven’t been feeling well fr a couple of days, just felling blah! We spoke to our friends this morning, they, and us, are so excited about them arriving on Sunday.

Resting up, taking it easy, so hopefully will be fine in a day or two.

:wavey:

Hi NIRDI's!

@missy yay to going cycling today. This time of year the weather is all over the place. We sure need moisture here. I did lift with less weights. My thumb is kind of agitated but my wrist isn't talking to me yet. I'll see what tomorrow brings.

@Scandinavian oh no to poor Pirate and his toenails. When I broke my wrist I had Marty use nail clippers on my nails and it's so hard to tell where you are clipping. He told me he'd NEVER do it again so don't ask. Yay for Link taking first place.

@Austina wind and heat certainly make for high fire conditions. It's kind of scary. I hope you and Colin rest up and feel better before your friends show up.

I slept in and didn't feel so tired today. I'll adjust to the time change in a few days.

I got these pictures of the sun and moon today. I am enjoying my toy.

Sun March 10.jpgMoon March 10.jpg

GM girls and happy terrific Tuesday!!! Sorry another quick post and run

@marcy wow, great photos. Amazing! Glad you got to lift yesterday and fingers crossed your wrist and hand remain quiet.

@Austina I am sorry you are under the weather and hope you start feeling all better very very soon. Yay to your friends visit coming up and yes so looking forward to more mild days. We went cycling yesterday and hopefully can today. It was a marvelous ride

@Slickk hope you had a good day yesterday

@finerthings how's your sweet kitty doing?

Hello everyone else. We cycled yesterday and it was glorious. Truly glorious. No ice cream yet as they are closed for renovations til Friday but we will see because they have been closed all of January and February and were supposed to open last week. Hopefully they will open soon. We could get ice cream from them now since they gave us the key but I am not that determined yet lol. We have gone in the past when they were closed and got ice cream but it's still a bit chilly so I don't mind waiting for a few more days. I love ice cream all year long don't get me wrong.

Have a wonderful and terrific Tuesday lovely ladies. XOXO

GM girls and happy wonderful Wednesday!!!

Cycling yesterday was awesome and we rode 60 miles. It was very nice and the wind while cool was manageable as the sun was out the entire day. We ran into friends and it definitely is feeling like spring despite the chillier temps for the rest of the week boo.

@Slickk happy hump day

@canuk-gal hope you're enjoying milder temps and if snow did arrive it is all melted by now

@finerthings keeping your sweet kitty in my thoughts...hoping she is doing well

@springerspaniel no budding on our tree yet. IIRC it's one of the last trees to bloom

@Scandinavian please hug your furry babies from me and tell your sweet children I say hello and hug them too if they'll let you

@marcy please share some more photos with us and good morning...hope your weather is not misbehaving

@Austina hope you are feeling much much better and looking forward to your friends visit this weekend

Hello everyone else. Greg had to change the tire again (second time this season and we have only been cycling around 5 times this year so far) but so it goes. Luckily he is very handy and can get us out of (almost) every jam. Today not sure what we are doing. Cycling is on the table but highs are in the 40s with moderate wind and partly cloudy...which could mean mostly sunny and that'll be the deciding factor..if it is more sunny than not. So we shall see. Lots to do and another busy day. Enjoy your wonderful Wednesday and be well. XOXO

Leaving you with a few photos of our furry meet up yesterday
Did not get J in the photos as she was jumping all over the place lol

Oh wait, you can sort of see Jenny here to the right of Milton

Hello lovelies

Thanks for the well wishes, I felt like death yesterday, I didn’t get to sleep till 4 am. Thankfully I slept pretty well last night and feel so much better today.

Still taking it easy, because I’ve got a lot to do Friday & Saturday.

Watching the launch, which is due to go in 34 minutes, exciting stuff. Hoping it all goes well and is a successful mission.

@missy - Never get tired of seeing that puppy’s smiling face

It’s 90 degs here, and the pool is up to 86! Perfect for our friends arrival.

Hope all the lovely NIRDIs are safe and well :wavey:

:( No go for launch today.

GM lovely ladies. Another quick post my apologies. We’re bringing Gracie to the vet dermatologist. I’m concerned because her skin issues are getting worse. Gracie is a highly anxious kitty. Always has been and that’s why we adopted her. No one else would. And bringing her to appointments is very challenging. Wish us luck. Poor kitty

@Austina so pleased you’re feeling better and your weather is cooperating! And yay for your upcoming visit with your friends

@Slickk 100% agree. It’s really quite hysterical. I do feel sorry for all who are so delusional

Good morning everyone else. Hope all is well.
We cycled yesterday and it was chilly!!!
No cycling today. Too cold. After vet dermatologist we might go hiking. We’ll see

Enjoy a terrific Thursday girls! XOXO ♥️

Hello lovelies

I hope the appt with Gracie went well @missy, poor little thing. Another scorcher here today.

I’m feeling a lot better, but Colin’s got the lurgy now:roll: hopefully it’ll follow the same pattern, and by Sunday he’ll be ok - IF he listens and rests!

Did a bit of cleaning today, small steps!

:wavey:

Thank you @Austina
I hope Colin feels better soon

I’ll go into detail tomorrow but Gracie likely has a fatal disease if not treated. She’s not an easy kitty to treat so we have our work cut out for us. Praying she’ll respond to treatment

Pemphigus foliaceus

Super rare.

We’ve been home from the vet for 10 hours and Gracie is still traumatized and won’t eat. SMH

GM girls! Happy FriYAY!

@Austina how is Colin feeling?

@Slickk truly cannot make this kind of willful ignorance up..mind boggling to the max

@Scandinavian good morning, what's on your weekend agenda?

Hello everyone else.
We ordered all the meds for Gracie from the compounding pharmacy and we were able to start her on the topical because it's the same med I am on and the vet said it is the same exact med so we were able to start it yesterday. She wipes it off though so I am concerned. We are going to do the best we can...I always thought if Gracie got sick and needed meds we wouldn't be able to keep her alive and that is my concern. But we will give it our best shot. I am keeping optimistic because the alternative sucks.

I got to catch up with my dear friend @LLJsmom last night and it was so wonderful. She says hi to everyone.
Today we are going hiking because it is way too cold for cycling. Cmon Spring

For all those on and off line who support me as a Jewish person I thank you. I thank you from the bottom of my heart because while I still cannot believe it, so many here do not support my right to exist. One cannot separate Zionism from being Jewish.

Wishing all my sweet friends here a wonderful FriYAY filled with YAY and only good things. XOXO

Last night. These three were hanging out sort of peacefully...sort of...lol

@missy I'm so sorry to hear about Gracie's autoimmune disorder and I hope that you will be able to medicate her successfully. I understand how hard it is to try to catch and treat a cat that is very skittish. My cat is a very nervous type as well, and will run if she senses that I am going to pick her up or do anything out of the ordinary. She will only come to me on her terms, and I have to accept that. Poor Gracie. :cry2:

My kitty's appetite is now fine, and showing no signs of illness. She is a picky eater and has always been finicky about her food. She really gave us a scare.

I'm sorry @missy that you are feeling misunderstood and threatened because of your Jewish heritage. This world sucks in so many ways.

Sending you (((hugs))).

Thank you ♥️

In happier news we decided to go cycling today so we’re off now. Yes we’re crazy lol but hey we love cycling and life is short so not waiting for purrrrrfect weather. I’m all bundled up.

Enjoy a wonderful Friyay and hugs to you and your sweet kitty ♥️♥️♥️

@missy
This is my weekend. Promise I’ll try to reply better to all of you tomorrow. I have been out in the mountains training all day yesterday and today and I’m just sooooo tired today.
