I really don't know what these people are thinking. I don't know anyone who would light up their house to that degree in this day and age. It's very much frowned upon where I live. Heck, sometimes I feel guilty leaving just the porch light (fluorescent at that) on all night. What your neighbour is doing is so wasteful, and it is pollution IMO.

I would borrow one of those huge spotlights and aim it right at their house. Maybe it would shed some light on the problem.

THIS!!!! I think it's so wasteful in this day and age, and she just doesn't get it... So selfish...

It rained all day, like crazy so doubt the electricians came.

A timer doesn't need an electrician to set it to a more decent and reasonable time... But then again, she relies on everyone to do everything for her. She has a Nanny and the kids are in high school... Ok gotta stop being mean.... It's not helping me, and need to keep my stress levels down....

Kaleigh, I'm sorry you're dealing with this, your home should be a place of comfort and peace, and your requests are completely reasonable. You must feel like you're being tracked by a search light! So nice of your neighbor to help you out with this, I really hope this gets resolved soon.

Glad that the lights turned off an hour later, but next weekend we turn the clocks back an hour. Does that mean it will be turning off at the original time again?

You could get some floodlights and make sure it illuminates their house if they don't get the message!
