What do you have left to do? Are you feeling like getting it over with already?

9.gif

* We had our e-pics last Sunday and are anxiously awaiting the pics next weekend, yay! I can''t wait to see them!
5.gif

* I have my first dress fitting on Thursday. I hope the seamstress can make my dress a masterpiece!

* Going to a florist Saturday, hopefully the quote will be good (FIL''s are paying) and that will be the last vendor to be booked. Wow!

* I have my b-pics on Sunday. Yep, still terrified, but it''ll be okay as long as the monstrous bug bites I acquired last weekend subside.
20.gif

* BMs ordered their dresses last week (not without issues, courtesy of my MOH).

* MOH is thinking about the shower. This is good.

4 months and 1 day left! I feel like time is going to start FLYYYYYING by. Hell, it already has. June was busy!

You can play too!

* venue booked

* dress purchased

* band booked

* photographers booked (though one of them is now pregnant, so I need to find a replacement for her, which I can''t do until about a month before the wedding
3.gif
)

* epics taken, purchased the ones I want (I''d post them when I receive them, but I would have to blank out my faces, and some people don''t like that)

* deposit put down for invitations

* booked florist, chose bouquets & bouts

* have basic idea for the centerpieces, and hopefully will have a sample done in a few weeks...

* bridesmaid dresses picked out, though they haven''t ordered them yet

....I think I still have a lot to do
14.gif

Damn, Smurfy! I thought I had a busy week!
23.gif

Can an October groom join in? We are both ready for it to be over, but I think we are ahead of the curve right now.

All vendors are booked. We still have a couple of meetings with them for final ideas, but everyone is contracted and deposits paid.

FI's first fitting is in two weeks. She's thinking that the only alteration will need to be length. *fingers crossed*

Bridesmaids dresses are in.

Invites are in--we have to assemble them and start addressing (I am doing the calligraphy for addresses, will do a few each evening until they are done)

Most of the stuff for reception table decorations was purchased last Friday. The couple of things left are normal stock items at Hobby Lobby, so we will wait a little longer on those.

First counseling session with pastor is this Saturday.

Need to meet with musicians to select last couple of songs for the ceremony. No problem there, I see them every week.

Honeymoon is basically planned, just waiting on travel agency to book flights.

BM & GM gifts still need found

3 months, 18 days to go! Where has the time gone?
33.gif

Well...let''s see...I still have to:

* get candy and assorted jars for candy buffet

* work on the wedding invitations when I get them

* order stamps for said invitations

* order wax seals for invitations

* Pick out final linen colors

* First dress fitting in August

* Order favors

* Get FI to get a move on with his tux

* Organize ceremony and write wedding vows

* Get my wedding band

* Book ceremony musician

* get shoes

* get candles for Unity candle set

* figure out what I want to wear in my hair

* wrap my bridal party''s gifts

* Send paperwork into DJ

Okay - wow - I still have a LOT to do! Good thing I''m not up to bat until October 31st

Oh... and last week FI's dad and stepmom just invited themselves on our super short mini-honeymoon in Key West, so that's totally awesome
20.gif
.

On the other hand, my mom has been really REALLY SUPER amazing throughout the entire planning process, so YAY
36.gif

These threads kinda scare me

I''m sure there''s a TON that I''m forgetting...Let''s just say my "done" list is much much much shorter than my "to do"...Jeeze time flys!!

oh, snap! Freke is playing and I am the week before her. Yikes!

I talked to the coordinator at our venue today (because I missed our six months out payment - oops!), and am convinced she thinks I''m a deadbeat bride - I have not called her once since an in-person meeting 7 months ago... time to get my butt in gear! But honestly, I feel like it''s "under control"

Date: January 2

Done:

Design programs/print and assemble programs
Talk with the priest and musical coordinator
Go to "Engaged Encounters" retreat weekend at the Catholic Diocese
Ask hostesses to be hostesses
Ask readers to be readers
REGISTER!
Ask my aunt to make my veil
Decide on a veil!
Book DJ
Confirm bagpiper
Book pianist for cocktail hour
....and like a million other things, I''m sure!

Wow, I have lots to do! Ok, six months away, there is still time!

This all makes me realize I need to start a "wedding thread!" I have lots of things to show pics of. I will work on that this weekend
1.gif

I''m doin''...well...nothing. Except avoiding. I''m JUST SO SICK of wedding stuff, and it''s all anyone ever asks me about! This thread scares me though, I only have a little more than 3 months left and apparently there''s a lot left to do.

Done:
Venue, caterer, photographer
My dress (except slight alterations) and his suit
Bridesmaids are choosing their own dresses and have it under control; groomsmen will just wear suits
I think I''ve finally figured out the centerpieces
Suburban room block is reserved
My ring
Ceremony musicians and jazz trio

In progress:
Invitation design -- my designer and I are tweaking
Registering (not easy at all)
His ring
Cake (did one yucky tasting and need to wait until FI is back in town until we can schedule others)

Not done at all:
Officiant (I want the judge I''m working for to officiate, but can''t figure out how best to ask her)
City room block...oops
Marriage license
Find shoes and a hair accessory (no veil)
Bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts
Pick out linens
Premarital counseling, which I kind of forgot about and we ought to find a counselor and schedule soon!
B-pics/bridals

)
-wedding rings
-something for guests to put candy in from the candy buffet to take home with them (we had green organza bags but were too small and had to send back for bigger ones which will hopefully work!)

-find bridesmaid, flowergirl, ring bearer, and groomsmen gifts
-chair covers for the head table

-get photos of each set of parent''s wedding to display on candy buffet and have these framed
-get together with fi''s aunt who is making our cake to discuss it
-order tuxes
-finish table numbers (each member of the bridal party is supposed to be writing 2 short blurbs to put on table numbers, so far one bridesmaid has submitted her stories, UGH, this is stressing moh out, she''s been put in charge of collecting these but i have a feeling i will have to start nagging people soon as the deadline we gave them to get them to us is july 16 or...10 days from now lol)
-still don''t have any ideas for centerpieces, ugh
-make seating charts
-get marriage license
-create note to go along with favors bags for candy buffet
-meet with florist
-1st dress fitting
-counseling session with pastor

and uh god i hope that''s all lol i''m sure it isn''t though!!!
