Right, no more thread hijacking for me! I think I am going to get out my iPod and walk over to the Chinese takeaway place and come back here and watch a movie or something. I am going to have my celebration regardless!

SATC tomorrow with my hubby and spending some quality time together. Can''t wait for my fix, don''t care if the movie isn''t up to much, I just want to see Carrie and the girls and NYC, its been tooooo long.

Other than that, hopefully chilling, although now that I''m having a break at the end of my semester before starting my dissertation in a fortnight, I kinda don''t know what to do with myself.

Anyone else find that when the madness stops?

ME! Schools done and I am trying to remember why school had me so stressed out. Maybe that''s why I am on PS incessantly...nothing else to do!

Kudos to hubby for going to see SATC with you! My BF says he can''t stand the show, especially Carrie...although I see him watching the DVDs right along with me, through the corner of his eye--LIAR!!!

I''m going to be chilling tonight with a glass ( large!!) of wine and a DVD with my lovely boyfriend then its work, work, work this weekend as I have just found out I''ve got a job interview on thursday and really need to prepare!

In response to all the movie talk:

I saw SATC and it was soooo awesome. I won''t give anything away other than....if you love the show you''ll love the movie. It was amazing to see the characters again and the little girl that plays Charlotte''s daughter is such a doll! I went at 12:25 in Iowa and there were only maybe 20 people in the theater, but it is a workday and Iowa...

I was convinced to see Ironman by my fiance and I really didn''t find it horrible. I actually enjoyed it. Its not the end of the world. Plus, now I went to a boy movie so he owes me a girl movie. We are both pretty good sports that way.

My weekend will be fairly boring. No SATC party for me.

Just getting up early tomorrow morning to teach horseback riding lessons. Then probably some house cleaning. OH but I am going to see Ladytron tomorrow night (Yay

I forgot about that!!!). Sunday will be a play it by ear day. Maybe a bike ride.

I''m sorry your friends bailed on you. You should still get your own take away you deserve a little celebration! Your story reminds me of what it was like for me when I moved away from my friend and family in LA...personally I just think people in LA are more flaky in general. Just try not to let it get you down. Keep on smiling!

Bia - the first step is finding a good reputable lesson barn in your area. One that has nice quiet well trained school horses that are safe. Not sure what area you are in (I''m in so cal) but I''m sure there are listings of barns and trainers.

Also focusing more on Dressage rather than jumping will do wonders.
