I''m going nutty over here. All I''ve got is my glass of strawberry Kool aid to keep me company....oh wait BF is here too, but he''s reading a book for school, so he doesn''t count for the moment.
WHERE IS SHE?!
Let me preface this by saying Aurora, Cinderlla, Snow White, and Belle have nothing on the romance my story has. J
February 17, 2008
4:30am I woke up to get ready to go to Disneyland with Eric for our 3 year anniversary. I got up early to make sure I was Princess ready for a magical day!!
6:15am Eric pulls up to my house dressed so nicely and smiling about our big day. I gave him his anniversary gift (a shirt) and a card. After saying our I love yous and happy anniversary we were on the road to Disneyland !!
7:30am We pull up to the Disneyland parking lot and make our way to the tram to get in line awaiting the opening of the park.

12:00pm We arrive at Snow Whites Wishing Well next to the castle. Eric tells me he has to do something but he''ll be right back and just to wait there. As I stand and admire the waterfall a cast member asks me if I am Erin to which I am somewhat shocked… Before I can ask how she knows my name she disappears and I am again left alone. A few moments later I turn to see Eric walking towards me with two things in his hands. He walks up to me and says "Here" and hands me a cylinder shaped tissue paper item that I begin to open. I barely start to open it when I realize Eric is on the ground. I look down and see him down on one knee with the box from Snow White. He opens is slowly and inside is a red apple. He tilts the box a little more and I notice something sparkle on a string on the top of the apple and it''s then that I realize he is proposing!! At this point my hands go straight to my mouth and I am tearing up. Eric then looks at me and asks " Erin will you marry me??" And I, apparently a few moments stumble to barely choke out "YES!!". He then takes the ring off the apple and gently takes me left hand as he slips the ring onto my finger. It fit PERFECTLY!! We then hugged and kissed as tears came down both our faces. In the background people clapped and cheered. Then the lady who asked my name a few minutes before came over to us and congratulated us. She introduced herself as our dream-maker for the day as Disney photographer came over and had us start with poses by the Wishing Well. Then our dream-maker, Pat, pulled the Mr. and Mrs. Mickey ears out for us to wear, compliments of Disneyland . We put them on and took more pictures. The whole time I was feeling like it was a dream and I needed to be woken up. Then Pat started to lead us over for more pictures in front of the castle and as we walked she gave me a Snow White collectors pin. We got in front of the castle and Pat was telling everyone who came up we were just engaged. People congratulated us left and right. Then she had me open the tissue paper gift to which was a Snow White ornament. Following that we were taken over for another angle of the castle for more pictures. At this time she handed Eric and I our new pins that said Just Engaged with our names. After pictures she made it clear we were not even close to being done. J She then told us we were going to be escorted through fantasyland and VIPed onto each ride. As we walked over she walked ahead of us and rang a bell while yelling "Erin and Eric just got engaged at the wishing well – say congratulations!!!" We got right the fantasyland rides, not waiting one minute for Peter Pan, Mr. Toads, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, Dumbo, the Matterhorn , and the most romantic part, Storybook Land boat ride. She ended up getting us Walt Disney''s favorite boat and letting us ride all by ourselves. She guided the boat and pointed out special Disney trivia along the way and yelled to every other boat we had just been engaged. It was so special!! Each stop she gave us something new to keep as a souvenir. It was amazing. I smiled for over an hour straight from all the VIP stuff, the special items she gave us, all the literally HUNDREDS of people who congratulated us.
2:30pm We found Pat and she lead us to a special seating area for the parade where all the characters would greet us before anyone else. We were totally blown away at this point!! As we sat and waited for the parade to start I took every possible shot of my ring that I could. J Eric just laughed and smiled. We also started blowing our special Disney bubbles Pat had given us as we VIPed Fantasyland. Then the parade started and we were spoiled with characters greeting us right away and princesses waving just to us!! It was incredible. J
3:30pm We followed the end of the parade and met up with Pat one last time. We thanked her over and over again. She kept telling us how lucky she was to be involved with our magic and how she could really see our love as soulmates. She then told us she had called over to the steamship and we were due to have our very own captain adventure. So with hugs goodbye we were off to keep the magic going.
4:15pm We boarded the steamship and talked to the cast member simply saying we were Eric and Erin to which they lit up and knew EXACTLY what to do. J We climbed up to the top and the captain let us into the private top deck where few ever get to go. She let us sign the book, Eric put on the hat, and we learned how to ring the bell and pull the whistle. Eric and I really enjoyed each other all the way around the river. We were completely taken back by everything that had occurred and how taken care of we were by Disneyland. And I, of course, stared at my ring ENDLESSLY. We docked the boat and thanked the captain.
5:00pm We walked out of Disneyland and over to California Adventure. Before we got in Eric took me over to the pay phones and I called my parents. Re telling the story to my mom was so special and she was so excited about everything. It was such a awesome moment making the call to my mom telling her and my dad about the PERFECT proposal!! We then headed over to Tower Of Terror and were sad when we realized how insane the line was… Until we realized Pat had given us VIP tickets for any ride we wanted. We quickly went up to the gate and boarded the ride to "our honeymoon suite". Needless to say… We never got to our room (haha) and had a blast sailing up and down the elevator shafts before coming down safely. After getting off we went over to the Artist thing and looked at the exhibit celebrating Snow White. (how perfect????) We then over to talk to Crush the turtle where I ended up having my own personal conversation as he picked me out of the crowd. hehe After our turtle talk Eric had a great idea to get a glass of wine to celebrate our engagement. We walked over and got in line for the wine tasting place. In front of us a lady turned and asked us about our engagement. We ended up having a fun conversation and before we knew it she was called up to get her drink. Eric and I were still trying to figure out what to get when the lady turned around and had bought us each a small bottle of champagne to celebrate. How sweet!! Then the Disney people offered to make the champagne sweet with raspberry syrup liquor. When Eric got out his wallet to pay, the Disney person said "Put your money away – it''s on the house!!" WOW!! How spoiled can we get!?! So we sat for a while and sipped our drinks. It was so romantic and a perfect moment.
7:15pm We headed back into Disneyland to get to the Blue Bayou for our dinner reservations Eric made a month in advance. We checked in, waited for about five minutes, and we called to be seated. They sat us down at a sweet waterfront table that had romance in every aspect. We ordered slowly and enjoyed each plate as it arrived. Everything was sooooooooooooooooo good. And it was so cute because every few moments a boat would go by and we would hear "congratulations!!" to which we waved and yelled "thank you!!". Then as we finished the meals our wonderful waiter surprised us with a special dessert with a candle. It was the perfect end to a lovely dinner and dream come true day!!

WHERE IS SHE?!
I don''t know where she is, but I LOVE the shoe in your avatar. In fact, today I bought a new pair of shoes that I''ve been wanting for a very long time, and after I got home and put them on I thought that I should take a picture of them and make them my avatar.
