I was thinking about you when we picked it up, because last time I went to ID Jewelers, they let me try on a 17 carat (!!!!) heart shaped diamond pendant. When I asked about it yesterday, Yekutiel said they sold it to Harry Winston. :mrgreen2:

Thanks, @ItsMainelyYou - I appreciate that! My gold necklace is a little crab with tiny diamond eyes that I have worn almost every day for the past 5 years, it was a gift from my hubby for my 50th bday. I was hoping they would look good layered!

Please excuse my paranoid question - for those of you with diamond pendants, does the culet/point of the diamond stick out past the basket? I noticed it poking me, and saw that it was slightly past the metal. I am worried that it's not safe for the diamond. Here is a picture of what I mean, hopefully not too blurry!!
