It is Ocean City, MD. It was hazy that morning and I liked the effect it gave the pictures. A little different than any that I have taken with clear skies.Date: 4/30/2005 1000 AM

Yes -- our book says that after birth, 3 hummingbird babies weigh less than a dime! We couldn't really see them at all for the first couple of days, but now they are big enough that we can see their heads when Mom feeds them.Date: 4/30/2005 73:34 PM

lop,
isn't it amazing how small the hummingbirds are? the eggs are unbelievably tiny!
cool pics!
Ocean City, MD! I love Ocean City. My grandparents live right up the coast in DE. I've gone there countless times.Date: 4/30/2005 2:22:55 PM

juan manuel, i want a gem to match each and every color in your last sunset photo!!!!!
ok, people, i''m really envious of your cameras and your expertise. i spent the day with beautiful irises surrounded by soft rolling green hills with oak trees and all had was a disposable camera....and i ordered another 22 irises!
have informed hubby that i now need a digital camera that will allow me to photograph the spess, my individual irises, and do scenic shots as well. can i get something good for +/- $500?
all the shots posted here are just gorgeous! i can only hope that once i get a digital camera that i''ll be able to get one or two good shots to post here...you''ve all set a very high bar!
btw, the trip to clovis was good but i didn''t see anything that made me whip out the credit card.

ok, belle, you may not have to wait much longer re pics of spess and/or irises! hubby and i are doing online research and it looks like the Canon PowerShot 7.1 Megapixel Digital ELPH camera Model SD500 may be making an appearance here at home very soon. unless, that is, one of you savvy photographers tell me this camera is a complete dog!

ps then, of course, i have to learn how to use the thing!
