It''s gorgeous and I''m so happy you love the color! I am waiting for my own K diamond right now, but it is an RB.

I read in another of your threads that you were concerned about the melee in your setting... I think if they use G/H you will have NO problem with the colors not matching or noticing too much warmth. It is unlikely that they will be able to use K colored melee because that color rough is probably never cut into such tiny stones.

Thanks Storm, you were the one who convinced me to go with this stone! The price was *so* right, that I was sure there was something wrong with it, but I'm glad I went for it, it's awesome! I guess the K color was what was dragging the price down!

Oops...just saw your linky. I love it! When do you think you''ll get it set?

Well my SO and I are young so of course we are living paycheck to paycheck right now, but we have a small bundle in savings and part of it is set aside for the ring. When we bought the stone, it drained our whole ring fund that we had so far pretty much but we had to jump on it because as I said, the price was SOOO right! So now we are about 2 weeks away from having enough for the JA setting. We have lots of things we''re saving for, moving out, he needs a new car, etc.. so not all of the savings can go to the ring fund (DANGIT!!

) But once it''s set, I don''t know when it will actually be on my hand!


I''m attached to my diamond already.. knowing he has the ring and not being able to stare at my diamond all day until he proposes will be tough!

Oh girl, trust me...the waiting is a killer. K has had the ring for a week now and I cannot for the life of me figure out what he''s waiting for! It''s torture. Hopefully your SO will be kinder, lol. But two weeks til you have it set? That''s great! Maybe you''ll have a May proposal too

I am the biggest halo-asscher whore from way back, and that Beverly K option is lovely... but truly, the stone is so spectacular, that the simpler JA setting might just win your heart for good.

blueroses: LOL! The Beverley K ring is definitely TDF! I love the intricate detailing on it, but yes, the JA setting is very appealing. In the long run I think the only thing that would sway me toward the Bev K is the extra finger coverage. I''m a size 6, and a 0.85 asscher might set DSS in early, and since I won''t be able to afford a bigger stone, a halo it might have to be!

blackpaw: You read my mind! My little Zozo.. She is just prissy enough to appreciate having her picture taken with a diamond. I''ll probably wait until the diamond is set to include her in the photoshoot. She''s too wild and crazy to be trusted with it loose LOL.

Thanks for the compliments ladies. I got my tax return back today and I want to use that toward my setting because if I do that I can send it off to be set NEXT WEEK!! But I''m getting scared.. I just got my diamond into my hands and now I have to ship it off back to NY!?

Lol welllll. Not so good. It was going great for about a week and a half (I had no cigarettes during that time) and I THOUGHT SO hadn''t had a cigarette in that time either. But he had been sneaking them. He says he''s not strong enough to quit cold turkey like me, but he didn''t want to let me down so he kept it from me. However, he was making improvements (down to 3 a day rather than a pack a day.) But that made it harder for me to quit knowing he''s still smoking

So, yeah, I haven''t quit yet, I''m down to two a day
