Catmom, Irish Angel, Dixie and I had a merry blingy time today! After lunch at Harry Carey''s we headed over to the show. I started to take some general show pics but got yelled at right off the bat about no photography so here''s the one I did get.

The loot! Catmom bought topaz drops, Dixie got a mystic pendant and a pink earing/pendant set, and those are the earrings I bought at the show on Friday.

Got to keep the new bling clean, right?! We bought "bubbler" jewelry cleaners. Love those things!

Whew--what an adventure! Made even more so by my incredible hangover (3 people; 2 bottles of red wine, one bottle of champagne, and a chocolate martini--as if I wasn''t drunk enough at that point!) but I always have such a good time with the PS gals (and Perry!) that it was worth the discomfort. I also bought a mini Fabrege style egg pendant as a Christmas present but I forgot to put it out on the table with our loot during the picture taking.

Oh, and Catmom''s new yellow radiant--TO DIE FOR! We found a band that went with it beautifully and some earrings. Maybe we''ll be able to convince her to get them at the next show.

That seems to have been the consensus on the band... do you think it''s enough at that width to wear alone though?

Oh I didn't see that photo (of your earrings) when I replied before. I really like them! I wasn't sure how they would look on the ear but they are very pretty.

ETA: yes, I think it looks perfect. Really elegant. It is a great width for your hand and at least the option of adding two thin e-bands is always there....

Are the vendors the same state to state; or different vendors depending on where you are located??? I noticed my city will be having one in Jan.

Skippy, there are vendors there from ALL OVER the country, so they do travel to the different shows. I heard one vendor talking to another on Friday about a show schedule conflict though and how they were going to have to go to a location that they didn''t normally go to because of it, so I''m not 100% sure how that all works.

Also, the vendors at the show are not always the same. For instance the one where my friend and I got the eternity bands at the May show was not at the August show, but they were there again this time.

Boy you got those pics up fast, DJ. I thought you were going home to take a nap? We had a lot of fun but I think we might have run out of steam at the end. I think it was a good thing that the vendors started packing up! Oh and just so everyone knows, Dixie, Irish Angel and I tried to talk DJ into the smaller rose gold band but she wasn''t convinced. It''s really gorgeous so I hope she picks that one! Also the picture of her new earrings doesn''t do them justice. They are very sparkly and look great on her ears.

[DJ, here is a pic of my fab. egg. It actually opens and there is a little angel on a chain that is inside. I had forgotten about that.]

I agree with Tacori - I like the thinner band. Totally think it can stand on it''s own really well.

Michelle: did you own the diamond hoops before--and just get the drops now?? That is why I need to go to these shows! I need more colored stone drops for my diamond huggies!! BTW, they are lovely!!

Skippy, the bubbler cleaners are hourglass shaped with a "screen" that has holes in it in between the two halves. You turn it upside down so all the solution goes into the top half (which is where your jewely is too) and when you turn it back over the solution goes down into the other (empty) half and the bubbles go up around bubble around the jewelry. (Does that make ANY sense, LOL?!) I had one of these ages ago and I think I must have thrown it out so I was thrilled to find another one at the show.

Michelle, I love your egg--that blue color is fabulous! And your new drops are really really gorgeous.

Thanks all for the opinion on the band. I really am leaning toward the thinner one now that I see the pics too.

Thanks Sharon, they came with the huggies you see but I also have some pave huggies that I was thinking I would wear the drops on.
