Pink Tourmaline masterpiece !

Wow. The colour is stunning. It is very hard to find pink tourmaline in such vivid colour. A lots of them are brownish. Where is the origin of the stone? Is it sold to you as rubellite or pink tourmaline?

I'm one of those people that avoids trilliants because they are so hard to set. Your new ring makes it look easy. That's a beautiful setting for a beautiful gem (and the size...wowza!).

In all honesty , it really wasn’t easy with this shape! Glad it worked out eventually. It’s still too high for me but well that’s what you get lol

It was sold as a rubellite. Just in my home lift I saw it look brown otherwise it’s pink , red, purple and orangey! Whole lot of changes in colour ! Let me share a pic of the purple I caught earlier this afternoon. It was more vivid purple in real life.

This stone was from carats gems on eBay. I just went back and saw a similar one if anyone is interested!! It’s bit more curvy, the facets are not as sharp but the colour is in the ballpark.

Love it @Gemobsessed ... my next gem purchase I think will be a really nice large aqua. That's my FI's birthstone, I was thinking of making maybe a pendant...but you can never have too many rings so who knows
