I've looked at all the vendors on the list. I'm not sure if I overlooked something but I did not find what I wanted. I would like help finding a peach-pink sapphire at least 10 x 6 for dimensions and oval shaped. I am trying to replace my recently stolen engagement ring :cry2: Thank you!!!

I think Inken had one at her Etsy shop.

Enhoerning jewels on Etsy.

Did you check gary at Finewater gems?

Do you have a picture of the color you are looking for? Also, what is your budget? That helps us narrow down the possibilities.

Contact Inken. She may have things not listed. The emerald melee I bought from her on loupe troop weren’t in her store.

Also, Gary is on the hunt for a round yellow sapphire for me.

So I would encourage you to contact some vendors through email and ask what is possible...

Have you purchased from them before? They have some beautiful spinels!

I have but only once. No issues for me but that was also some years ago. The stone was really gorgeous, way better in person, and I never set it....lol story of my life.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I will take a look this weekend!

Do you have a budget? That’s awful your ring was stolen. How did it happen?

Broke into my car while I was at the gym. I thought I had hidden it well and was on a military base so thought I was safe :cry2:

This ring has the dimensions you want. The stone is pink but looks quite peachy outdoors:

I definitely love the dimensions, but I think I am highly sensitive to purple tones? A lot of gemstones that a couple of vendors/jewelers have sent me as peach/pink/pads look really purple to me, and unfortunately, I am not a fan of purple.

This one is reserved but you never know, it may become available. Or you can ask them if they can source more.

Love the dimensions on this one, but maybe too light tone? I'm darker skinned, and I recently tried a peach/champagne sapphire ring and it looked really brown against my skin color. I think peachy pinks work best for me so far.

Gemfix has this one that is slightly under 10mm but otherwise perfect:

I am thinking about ordering this one to see how it looks, but I don't know if I'm being a little rushy and desperate. I think I may want to try to find more pads in my price range, but it looks like the well is a little dry right now

Oh man, that sucks. Gyms are real targets for theft. Someone in my social circle had her locker inside the gym broken into and lost her diamond ring. The gym did nothing to help. After hearing about that, I just left my jewelry at home when I went to the gym.

The Gemfix stone is very pretty and it’s got a great cut. Pads have always been rare and I think they will keep getting rarer. Another poster bought one from NSC recently and was happy with her stone, so you could check there too.

How does one buy a gem from pala? I managed to get some quotes from them, but from my understanding they only sell to jewelers? I wouldn't mind having my ring made by David Klass, but I'm not sure if he works with Pala, and I would like videos of the stones before I choose one.

Yes silk and possibly fingerprints (that’s the natural healing of crystal structure changes). It’s very beautiful and a great size but I think it will be rather pricey it has the “p” word in its description:shock:

Okay so the silk inclusions prevent it from being as sparkly as the gemfix stone mentioned above? The quote wasn't crazy expensive, but I guess the markup from the jewelers may put it out of my reach.

You really can’t judge gems from photos or even videos. You have to see it in person, in your own lighting conditions. But yes, silk can cause more of a haze glow than a shiny reflection. Rubies for eg are often more glowy than sparkly, again because of silk inclusions. It’s hard to tell from a static photo how it might perform “in the hand”. Can the vendor send you a video outside in natural light? My understanding is that if David Klass gets it in for you he won’t charge you an “extra commission” just the cost of making the ring.

Just saw the video Rachelle at Mastercut Gems made. They will have a peachy sapphire that's padparadscha like for their Rocktober sale. It hasn't been uploaded to their website yet, but if I were you I'd check it out once their sale starts. Mastercut Gems has consistently low, reasonable prices and some quality gems. They also have an excellent return policy.

Thanks for the heads up!! I wonder if they would tell me the carat and dimensions if I emailed them. I'm so impatient lol

You might want to email them now to express your interest. Once the sale starts, someone might snap it right away.

To buy from pala you need to have an interim pro-jeweler or trader who can make a margin. As far as I understand they don't sell to 'normal you and me'.

Hi! I’m back again with more questions. I’m looking at this stone from Jupiter gems https://jupitergem.com/natural-heat...color-oval-shape-3-57-carats-with-gia-report/ and this stone from gemfix https://gemfix.com/gems/sapphire-pink-13-499. What are your opinions? I like the cut of the gemfix stone bec i don’t even see a window. But I like the 10x7mm dimensions of the Jupiter gems stone bec my previous engagement ring had those dimensions and it was a great size.

The Jupiter Gems stone has a huge window. I don’t think you will be happy with it.

I like the Gemfix stone-- lovely soft color and much nicer cut. The window in the JG stone is pretty blatant, although I do like the color. It's more saturated than I thought you were looking for, though. I don't think the dimensions are really that dramatically different between the two stones. Size is nice, but in my opinion, not worth sacrificing color or having to look at a large window.

Thanks! I think I’m getting too caught up on small details.

clearly the gemfix except for the heat-treatment but that is personal opinion.
the jupitergem is terribly windowed, nonono
