Please help me find a large peachy pink sapphire

Hi! I’m back again with more questions. I’m looking at this stone from Jupiter gems https://jupitergem.com/natural-heat...color-oval-shape-3-57-carats-with-gia-report/ and this stone from gemfix https://gemfix.com/gems/sapphire-pink-13-499. What are your opinions? I like the cut of the gemfix stone bec i don’t even see a window. But I like the 10x7mm dimensions of the Jupiter gems stone bec my previous engagement ring had those dimensions and it was a great size.

I personally couldn't tolerate the window of the Jupiter Gems stone. You may not have an issue with that though. I would pick the GemFix stone despite being a bit more included.

Can you detect the inclusions? I know the description says that they are faint and could possibly be detected, but I’m too new to gemstones to pick them out. Would these type of inclusions affect the clarity of the stone? Thank you!

I see some recommend pristine gems to the OP. I don’t see treatment information on his website for his listed gemstones ?

I can see them in the photo, but they may not be as apparent in hand. If they have a good return policy, may be worth having it sent to you to see if you are OK with it.

I guess you might have to ask. I always assume heated unless otherwise stated. I think they post in this forum now and then as @pristine.

Ask the seller if the inclusions are visible at about 10 inches from the eyes. I can see the inclusions in the image but its also magnified. I can also see inclusions about 10 inches from my eyes (but I'm also getting old so there you go...lol) The inclusions don't look like glaring ones or ones that can detract from the stone.

Thank you both! They will be back from traveling tomorrow so I can finally give them a ring instead of pestering everyone here lol

Received the gemfix sapphire. I tried taking pics, but the colors look nothing like it is in real life. In one of the pics it looks purple, and another vendor sent me a video of a pad and it looked very purple as well. I blew them off as trying to fool me but now I feel guilty  The color in real life looks exactly like princess Eugenie’a ring and that’s not bragging or overhyping the stone bec that isn’t the color I was going for, though beautiful.

I think it’s really beautiful. While it may not be as pale as your original, I think the important thing is that it does suit your skin tone well and doesn’t look washed out. It would make a beautiful new e-ring for you.

Looks to be nicely cut without a window, and a lovely color against your skin. I think its gorgeous.

I really like it. The cut is nice, the color is pretty and it does suit your skin tone.

Thank you all for the feedback!!! It gets pretty dark at the top and bottom so that’s the only thing that’s bothering me but it’s a very pretty stone.

That dark-getting is normal light effect, no worries, its a beauty! Sold!

It's pretty and an impressive size. Since you asked for feedback the downside is that it appears to have quite a bit of grey to it and not well saturated.

If you think you will always crave the color of your old peachy sapphire, don’t settle. Keep looking. Maybe commissioning a gem cutter is the way to go.

Thanks so much for the feedback!! Yeah I'm not sure why it goes grey/purple-grey sometimes. I know sapphires change color, but this stone has major shifts. In sunlight it's like a yellow-brown. I see now why another member wanted a pad that held it's color in all lighting, especially outside. My husband really liked the stone when I showed it to him under our home lights but I took it with me while we ran errands and showing him the stone in sunlight made him pause. Sometimes though outside it has a nice "rose moscato" color as my husband likes to put it which is nice. I want to set it because of the rose and dark rose color it has inside and to satisfy my cravings for a pad but I know I'll always long for a peachy pink sapphire as well. I wish there were more sapphires on the market right now because David Klass has already provided me a CAD of my dream ring. I'm starting wonder if I should ask him to source a stone for me as well. I just may buy a cheap eidelprecious ring to fulfill that wanting :P2

Have you considered Spinel? I don't know if this is the color you are referring to, but I think it's gorgeous, and is so saturated. I've been eyeing this one for awhile, but have been on a spending spree and I need to rein it in, lol. If it's still available in the spring however, game on.

That is a beautiful color, but a little to saturated for me. Thanks for linking it. Hopefully someone will buy it!

I think this loss of color in sapphire is called 'bleeding', a bad choice of word perhaps, but it is not uncommon or rather normal to a certain extend; color change is a different topic.

Sorry I thought pink

.

Just the colour: www

The ring looks promissing indeed, however.
