Nature being nature in Destin, FL before some giant sargassum washes up on it.

The florida panhandle is gorgeous. I wrote basically a whole sonnet on it when I had the ring in my avatar made.

Anyway, this trip we got sharked, and I decided I didn’t like the gulf anymore. Boo to sharks, boo to getting old and not being able to just Pamela Anderson my way out of the surf when there’s danger anymore.

Male and female cardinal, just now! The girl is usually here first, and when the male flies in (bright red), he ALWAYS gives her a kiss! Never fails. Melts my heart!!

The baby storks have reached the adorable, goofy looking stage! Enormous feet, stubby beaks, still just white puffy balls. They are beginning to try standing up but are wobbly.

Soon their black feathers will begin to appear.

That's a good point. I think you're right because it was acting a bit strangely with the thistledown.
