Osprey gestation is about 32 days...the chicks should hatch any day now.
I've been watching the nest more often, but as of right now it's still just 3 eggs.
The male (on the right) just arrived to inspect the eggs. No audio so we don't know if the birds hear peeping coming from the eggs.
It's possible, since they could begin hatching any time now.
The male then left and the female continued to incubate.
Mama's tired of incubating. She got up to stretch and peered closely (listened?) at one of the eggs, then settled down to continue incubating.
I think we'll see a chick very soon, maybe tomorrow.

Dad arrived with a fish at 9:19.
Mom ate while the baby was waking up, then fed it. Baby is between the 2 other eggs. (Eggshell is seen in foreground, on the left.)
Dad (left) sees chick and then leaves with the remains of fish at 9:28.
At this stage on the Estonian forum the babies are called "bobbleheads"-- they don't have good head control yet!
Still 2 unhatched eggs.
The two day old chick is about the same size as this sparrow (on the right).
Dad had brought a large fish so Mom and chick ate well. As soon as they were done eating and settled down, he returned to remove it. So, he must be perched nearby, watching.
A 2nd chick has hatched!
Dad bought a fish, and #1 (on the left) and Mom ate well. #2 opened his mouth briefly but is still too sleepy and was not fed this time. He'll be fine waiting for the next feeding.
Dad removed the remains of the fish promptly. This helps keep the nest free of insects. I also spotted a sparrow hopping around the nest eating what I think must be insects.
