Lester is amazing! Gorgeous animal.
I would run from him, though

He took a stroll through the ‘hood the other night, disappearing between a couple other homes. I went to look for him, but he was either hiding under some shrubs or crossed the street into another lake. DSC_3492.jpegDSC_3491.jpegDSC_3490.jpegDSC_3489.jpeg

Oh hi... Frantically stashing acorns, day in and day out. 20241028_114444.jpg

Here also! Saw a HUGE one the other day...size of a small dog! Healthy and well fed!

Here too!

On our recent trip to Italy we got to see this lovely cactus in bloom. It was only in bloom one day. Loved the color of these delicate flowers. IMG_4178.jpegIMG_4179.jpegIMG_4177.jpeg

Oh wow, absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the much needed distraction.

I'm pretty sure this is a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker. First one I've had at my feeders. I originally thought it was a Downy Woodpecker who was dirty :lol-2: . Glad I decided to take a photo.

Just curious. How do you know its the same squirrel? I get a lot of squirrel visitors but can't tell them apart.

This one tends to come near our windows a lot, even last week hopping on the sill and looking into our kitchen lol. My son and I caught it and laughed. I guess you can't really be 100%, he doesn't have any specific markings or anything!! But just seems friendly and also chubbier than the others, lol

flowers, my favourite walking paths, and a glorious view. I love living here.

Beautiful! And if that what it looks like today where you live, you sure have me beat. No leaves, no flowers, rain and snow for me.......

No flowers here now but no snow! It is temperate here so winter is cool and rainy and green. I lived for 8 years in a wintery place and I don’t miss the snow and especially the grey slush and ice one bit!

I made the stupid reverse move. Started life in Miami and ended up in New England, via St. Louis. I always said I'd probably end up in Nova Scotia, but that won't happen at this point....

Well New England was beautiful when I visited. And Nova Scotia has terrible winter weather! So maybe not so bad to stay where you are!
