I am confused! Where did the 2nd chick come from?
That is chick coloring-- not the 2nd adult.
I wonder if it's a rescue from another nest that encountered some problem?
Eta: The new chick is a bit larger and has a green band on its right leg.

That's weird. I was watching late last night, and it was only the mom and one chick.

I caught the older chick doing wing exercises today. He's not helicoptering yet, though.

This photo was posted on the Estonian stork forum. One of the chicks has begun taking brief flights off the nest (the one with leg band 7193). The other 2 have not done it yet.

Quite a good sunset last night

A special evening. I spotted this osprey and spent about 1 minute watching it. It had something in the mouth at the beginning. I also can't tell what that long thing was, string of algae?

All three stork chicks are taking flights, but they come back to the nest.
