#JOTW Post your Cartier jewels/rings/watches!

Thanks for sharing all this great info @Tonks! I don't shorten any of my VCA motif bracelets as I like mine loose. The flipping of the pave motifs doesn't really bother me. I love to wear my yellow gold signature bracelet with my yellow gold pearls of gold bracelet - and many times I will add a 5 motif to the mix and enjoy the whole "mess" of them together! So I ended up texting with Briony and her team and ordered the same Etoile bracelet (large) in size 17 which is the same size as all my VCA bangles. She is a lot of fun to text with and I can't wait to get it in about 8-12 weeks. Thanks for your insight and all your fantastic photos! Your collection is spectacular!

When you buy the same brand for so many years, you don't even notice how much of the stuff builds up over time. I think it's time that I start to take a look at other brands too. ;)2

Well, I could offer to swap, but unfortunately I'm not a VCA guy. I like to wear bracelets tight, it's more practical for every day wear and this is how I came to Cartier. But that's exactly the problem, you fall in love with a style and then there it goes.
 
@Octave, VCA makes many nice bangles, some with diamonds as well! You should give them a whirl. I have the Perlee Pearls of Gold, and the Perlee Signature bangle. Both are beautiful and you can get them in different sizes according to how tight you like them to fit.
 
Tried on some LOVE pieces at Cartier, and decided on a cuff with a diamond in white gold.

LOVE bracelets without diamonds in yellow/white/rose gold. Only the white gold pieces with diamonds are rhodium plated, the white gold pieces without diamonds look grayish.

Brian Gavin Dream Eternity in platinum, LOVE ring in rose gold with diamonds and in yellow gold without. The color difference between Cartier rose and yellow gold is very subtle.

Cartier workmanship is exquisite down to the cut and setting of the 0.1 carat diamond.

Yes.. I think it's been out for at least a year.
It's such an interesting twist on the classic.
Very comfortable to wear too.
We were just away and I bought it in Europe so I saved a little bit plus the tax.

I went into the store last week planning on buying a clash ring and earrings, but when I saw the Trinity collection in person, I was sold! I like mixing metals.

@dnfd I think both rings look good on you! I like the classic a little bit more because you are fortunate enough to have long fingers! You can easily pull off the extra width! Good luck with your decision. You really can't go wrong either way!
