RockHugger - you rock! When I joined the PS, you just started buying stones and many of them, frankly, were not of good quality. I never said it at that time just to support you, but I am amazed at the speed of your growth. You are taking classes, you learned excellent gem photography, you collected wonderful stones...even made some money in the process since you are thinking of pricier setting. Congratulations, you are developing into a fine and knowledgeable collector!

I was just going to say my favorite stone piece is a spinel necklace once owned by Shah Jihan.I'll try to find the link I read about it.
Unbelievably to me it sold on the private market for I think I remember a little over a million dollars. Imho it's priceless and it should be in a museum.
My favorite color piece(s) at PS are Catmom's saphhire suite (paruve?). Fit for royalty!
