Thank you everyone for your prayers, thoughts, wishes and support. My Dad had no pain last night and slept well - but we are now seeing that we believe the pain is from shingles - my dad has had sores develope on his back near where the pain was....but I believe God used this so he would get checked out seeing as I am like him and do not go to the doctor every whipstitch - giggle :}
So thank you all again - HUGS to you all - you are one of the best support systems I know :}

Gosh, I am sorry that I missed this initially, but I am glad to hear that your dad was able to come home. So they think it is shingles? Whatever it is, I hope that he is feeling better very soon!

My mum had shingles last year and it was terrible for her: so my heart goes out to your dad and to you both.
