TAcori: you rock. I bought 3 pairs of babylegs. I got the argyle, pink stripe, and brown dot. So cute....for what I paid for 1 pair at our local boutique. LOL.

I love babylegs on D. We have the popsicle ones & they are so much fun & cute to wear.

M: D has no hair. Rockin'' a small baby mullet & just enough fuzz for a faux hawk.

I have to go make brekky....we have UNPRECEDENTED snow! (It happens MAYBE once a year) so I want to go and play outside (got the kids snow gear & a new sled!)

BabyLeg fans I found some for $4.95

here! with $3.95 flat shipping don''t think you can do better but they only have select styles. Still feel sick. Honestly if I didn''t have my period (when it rain it pours huh?) I would think I was preggo. This feels like m/s. My mom even asked me.
20.gif
Tessa was in an interesting mood this morning. She was really cuddly (NOT like her) She kept giving me kisses
30.gif
. We danced together for awhile. She is such a trip.

Thanks Tacori! I just bought 6 pairs for the little buggers. I hope you feel better soon!!! At least Tessa is being a love bug to make up for it right?

No problem ladies. I think I am going to order two more. Can''t pass up a good deal...pathetic.

Also for those bargain shoppers and newer mamas the Leap Frog learning table is only $19 at Target! I paid so much more than that and it is seriously one of Tessa''s favorite toys. The legs come off so even the younger babies (5-6 months) can start playing.

Tacori, thanks for letting us know about the Leap Frog learning table. We''re going to visit Target to take a look and probably buy. It has great reviews and a good price! I want to buy more BabyLegs! They are so cute and addictive! MUST REFRAIN MYSELF! I already have 4 pairs. Are you feeling better?

msb, such a handsome little man you have there!

snlee, I wish I knew someone who was having baby #1 (most our friends are on #2) b/c it would be a great gift. Like I said Tessa STILL plays with it everyday and at that price it is a steal. I am feeling much better thanks for asking. I think I bought like 6 pairs of babylegs...I figure I would always use some as gifts if I don''t like them.

Glad you''re feeling better. That''s what I tell myself about the BL''s but when they arrive they are so cute and I want to keep all of them!

Leapfrog table...

Jake got it for his 1st bday & it still is going strong with Miss D. They love that thing! Its a really great toy.

Is it so bad...I''m just now doing my xmas cards! LOL

Tacori~Good deal finding!!! Thanks so much! I''m off to buy T some babylegs and tomorrow I''ll hit up Target. T doesn''t have the LF table yet and that''s a steal! Glad you''re feeling better!

msb~K is adorable. Glad all is well. Have fun with the holidays.

I finally got our Christmas card done (sending it via email because I''m lazy) so I''m emailing it off, but other than that not much new. Hope all you ladies had a great weekend!

Hi everyone! I have been lurking/posting on the diamond threads for months now and who knew all these other wonderful forums existed. I''m new to the TTC thread and I wanted to introduce myself since I will be here often.

My DH and I were married at the end of July and we are TTC. I''m 30 and he''s 31 and we both desperately want kids. I never get my period on my own so my gynie had me go to a fertility spec. After a gamut of tests and sonograms I was told that I have lean pcos. Has anyone else been diagnosed with this? It''s different from pcos in that I do not have excess hair, testosterone, skin tags, dark patches on skin, and I am not heavy, I am "lean" This lean version is not all that published as pcos, but I did find some reading on it. I know that pcos has to do with glucose levels being elevated but my levels were normal.

I have polysystic ovaries and no ovuations so we are meeting with the spec again on Jan 6 to discuss our treatment/fertility plan, most likely Clomid. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and reading everything I can get my hands on that has to do with babies

snlee, they keep adding new ones! I CANNOT order more. No!!! I was tempted to buy a sling but restrained.

Diver, T loves her''s too. She makes it play music and then wiggles her little hips. She and her PS sister would have a blast together! I am doing my x-mas cards now too. Mahhh...I figure as long as they get there before NYE right?!?

Burk, she doesn''t?!? I am surprised. Seems to be a staple in everyone''s house. Now I am hoping it was the Target ad I saw it in. Haha. Tayva will LOVE it and I LOVE her new AV!

Sabrina, I am sorry for your troubles! If you do a search there has been other threads. Also there is a TTC thread and maybe those ladies have first hand experience. I wish you the best of luck.

welcome sabinameister!! Good luck!

Tacori~We don't know anyone that has the LF table. Kinda weird because you've mentioned Tessa liking hers a few times. You know I'll be back here tomorrow night to let you know about it if it's not on sale.
41.gif
Oh, and you'll appreciate this: my IL's stop by yesterday morning and say they have one of T's Christmas presents in the car and asked if T can have it because it's too big to haul to BIL and SIL's and then have us haul home, which I appreciated. So they bring in this huge "Little Tikes" wagon in. I tell DH that he'll need to clear out some space in the garage for it and my MIL tells me (in all seriousness)that we need to keep it in the house for Tayva to play with!!!! I kid you not, I looked at her and said "yea, I don't think so." I mean, are you kidding me? It's HUGE! Nothing like your MIL, but WOW!

Burk, love your new avi! T is so pretty! I suggest going to Target ASAP. DH had to go to two Targets to get the LF table. There was only two left after he picked up one. Tacori, thanks again for letting us know about this good deal!

sabinameister, the TTC thread is a wonderful support group. Good luck!

snlee, I love sharing good deals. I am glad it was Target. Thought I remembered the ad being red. D will love it when he is big enough. That is crazy they are going so fast. The deal just started today. But it is the cheapest I have EVER seen it. I think we paid $39 for ours (but it was so long ago who remembers?)

Burk, she really isn''t *that* bad. I am just kinda mean and probably do over think things. Things could be much worse. My mom has it worse. Haha. I''m terrible. Those things are huge and you have complained about the size of your house before! How funny! Haha. ILs are crazy. T will love the table. You will wonder what you ever did without it.

BTW I taught Tessa how to eat a banana today. She caught on pretty quick and ate almost the whole thing (minus the two bites I took to teach her what to do). She is a monkey. I guess I shouldn''t be surprised since she figured out the baby locks. I think she knows the gates too but luckily her hand is not large enough nor is she strong enough to open it herself.

Wow, so much to catch up on!

QT Thanks!

Lili Those pictures made my day. She is so cute! I love the "who, me?" look.

Jas Congrats on the new house. My IL''s live in a loft in NYC and yours looks a lot like theirs inside. The twins are adorable, and your husband really has a knack for photography. He gets great shots.

Tacori I love Tessa''s new pic. She is getting so grown up looking. I have only seen your wedding pic, and don''t know what DH looks like, but I think she looks a lot like you too.

Mrss Jake is such a cutie! I love that he won''t take off his santa hat!

Burk Your new AV is adorable! She is a doll. Is she feeling better?

msb What an adorable little man you have there! Great curls!

Jas12 Love your new AV. You are so pretty! Are you all snowed in up there still? How was your concert?

I am slowly recovering, but my distance vision is still dbl
7.gif
I am hoping that my brain figures this out soon because DH is out of town, and this is making my life really difficult. If I patch the eye, and put in a contact, I can drive, but it would be nice to have my vision back. It also looks really icky. (my son won''t look me in the eye
8.gif
) I don''t blame him. I look very festive though. My eyes are green and my cornea is bright red!
(sorry to be a wet blanket, just not having the best time of it right now)
Hope everyone is well. Looking forward to all those new Babyleg pics!

iliv, I am so sorry! I hope your vision goes single and your eyes heal QUICK! What a PITA! There are pictures of DH in my wedding thread (in BWW). That being said besides coloring I do think she looks 90% like me (or at least how I looked when I was 1). I think she will be prettier though. I LOVE her eye color. It is a guessing game but they are cool.

OMG, these new pics are PRICELESS. you guys just make my day.

So greetings from Oz! We made it safe and sound with no flight delays.

I am going to take an opportunity for once to brag about my kid. She was a DREAM for the journey down! Simply an angel. We got to the airport early (7 pm for the 10:30 flight) and she napped from about 8:45 to 9:45 pm. We boarded and we could not put the bassinet down until we were up in the air. That was probably the toughest part as Amelia was obviously tired but hanging in there - just fidgety a little. We put the bassinet down at 11:15ish pm LA time and she was out until 7 am LA time!
36.gif

She was awake for two hours - just sat and played in her bassinet with her toys and took a nap again at 9am LA time for an hour and 45 and then we only had about 2 hours until landing. 3 hour layover (another nap) and then played with TGuy''s sweatshirt drawstrings all the way for the 2 hour flight to Adelaide.

The only kicker was my inlaws...as much as I loved them, they had the ENTIRE family here, including the 2 grandchildren. Amelia finally had enough and way too much overload and was miserable late afternoon Australia time. We had woken her up from a nap which should have been her bedtime and BOY did she show she was not happy. Just sobbing, poor thing. I was NOT HAPPY that we couldn''t just come in and relax, but tried to remind myself that everyone was just excited and gave myself an attitude adjustment.

She slept 12 hours and woke up at 5 am, which is awesome and we got up and fed her at 6. She''s back on her "normal" routine today - in fact having her afternoon nap right now, which I have to go get her.

So all in all, thank you for your good vibes. I cannot BELIEVE how easy such a long journey was. The bassinet was a lifesaver...we would have died without it for sure as Amelia cannot sleep in someone''s lap.

I miss you gals and will try and catch up sometime this week when we get a quiet moment!

Tacori, I know it''s crazy how fast they are going! DH said he saw at least 3 other people in Target with the table and he wasn''t in there long, as he''s the typical guy shopper, in and out! Tessa is so smart. Bummer that she figured out the baby locks!

iluv, hope you have a speedy recovery and your vision gets better.

TGal, I was just thinking about you and wondering how your flight went. Glad A was an angel! That makes a long trip a little more bearable.

I didn't know they were adding more babylegs styles. Sigh. Now I want to buy more. But she'll have 7 pairs already once I receive them. I really like the watermelon, heather rainbow, popcicle and seersucker, but I don't think she needs any more.

On a happier note, I just ordered the high chair for M. Can't wait to get it.

Tgal
Glad the flight went well. Have fun in Oz.

hi all....we''re back.

thanks so much to all for the birthday wishes. i can''t believe he is 1.
i''ll try to catch up later.

but i have to say...ella your kiddos are tooo cute! the party looked fun.

hawaii for great, except for the bit of rain, but no big deal. B had a wonderful time at the beach. he was perfect during the flight. B and i flew there first and DH met us later in the day, so i was a bit worried. i got the entire aisle to myself so i had an extra seat to put his things. the flight was about 5 hours and he didn''t cry once. again he was the only baby on board so he was a big hit. he wanted to go to random strangers and play which was fine with me. he even fell asleep in one the stranger''s arms. that was kinda weird. all in all a great trip. oh, and on the way back DH upgraded us to first class which was nice.

the birthday party was great, but i think dinner was really overwhelming for B but he was a trooper.
hope everyone is doing well.

Glad you arrived safely Tgal and that Amelia was a champ on the journey
35.gif

tgal- I''m so glad your journey to OZ went well..what a huge relief

Leapfrog Table- I got one 6 years ago and have used it with all my kids. LOVE it. Jake loves it too although I don''t have the legs on it yet for him. I called my sister to tell her about the sale b/c they wanted to buy one for their daughter.

babylegs question: I emailed my sister the link and she wanted to know if you mommy''s put socks and shoes on with the babylegs or what shoe''s do they wear? I told her I would probably do socks with some boots so you don''t see the socks and just the babylegs but I would ask you all.

MrsS
I''ve done everything with babylegs. I''ve done babylegs without socks or shoes, babylegs with socks underneath, and babylegs with socks and shoes. Really just depend on the weather and where we are at/going. Look cute no matter how you wear them.

puffy
Welcome back. The vacation sounds fun; glad you and B had a good time.

thanks Q, I figured as much but wanted to check and be sure b/c there is no way my hubby would let me put a pair on Jake
3.gif

snlee~Thanks! Went to Target over my lunch.

Tacori~My MIL really means well, too. Her grandchildren are here life. There is just no room in my house (or anyone''s house for that matter) for a wagon.
16.gif
Too cute about Tessa eating the banana. We may need a picture of this!
41.gif

iluv~Thanks! Her cough has gotten worse so I''m taking her to the doc AGAIN. Thanks for asking. Sorry you''re continuing to have double vision. Hope it gets better soon!

Tgal~
35.gif
So glad you checked in! I''m sure no one is surprised that Amelia was a great traveler!
2.gif
So happy all went well.

puffy~Welcome back. Glad you had a great trip!

mrss~I wondered how others did it as well...I did socks and little Ugg boots with T''s since it''s so cold here.

I need gift help!!! My SIL is having her second son tomorrow(the one who had the last minute shower a couple weeks back). Since I had to dip into my "stash" of gifts that I had for the hospital and Christmas I''m kind of having to start over. Since it''s her second boy and they have so much and the shower, baby arrival and Christmas are all in such a short time span I don''t know for sure how much/what to get. I got her the cart cover, a couple outfits from the Gap, and a couple books for the shower. I''m thinking of just doing diapers, a onsie (cute Christmas one), an outfit and a little toy for the hospital and then just doing a big bag full of necessities for Christmas like wipes, pacies, hooded towels, and one more outfit. Do you all think this is sufficient? Any suggestions welcome.
9.gif

Burk, your gift idea''s sound great. Since she is having a second boy she probably doesn''t need a ton of stuff so diapers and wipes are always great. Maybe a nice blanket from Gymboree (those are my favorite blankets) so the new baby has at least one of his very own and you could get a matching onsie or something from there too. I think what you listed sounds perfect though.

Thanks mrss! I was hoping you''d pop in! Good idea with the blanket. I''ll do that. I ended up posting another thread because I figured I''d get more suggestions that way.

Hi mommies
35.gif

I was wondering if you can help me with some gift ideas. My coworker gave me a brand new bassinet and as a thank you, I''d really like to get her children a Chrstimas gift. She has a 4/5 year old (in pre-k) and a 6 month old. Any ideas? Or should I get something for her specifically?

TIA!

your welcome burk-

fiery- My daughter just turned 5 and loves My Little Pony. So that would be my suggestion. I just got one of my neice''s a My Little Pony "doll" and DVD gift set for under $10. 6 months, I''d go for any type of toy they can put in their mouths. jake loved the rattles, toy keys, etc...

Well mamas, I have some exciting news. Today was the first time in a week I wore real clothes. My pants were loose when I put them on but I was expect that. After 10 mins they were ANNOYING loose so I tried something I haven''t tried in nearly two years...a pair of my pre-preggo jeans...and they fit! They aren''t even tight!
36.gif
36.gif
36.gif
Of course I still have 5 more lbs and some toning to do but it made this girl feel pretty damn good.
16.gif

TGal, I am so glad the trip went well! Yay for Ame! She is such a good girl. Hope things have settled down.

Snlee, I know we JUST installed them in four rooms. Kinda a waste now. At least it slows her down.

puffy, welcome back! Sounds like you have a great trip! We need pics!

Burk, I took a pic on my camera phone and my SIL said it looked naughty
20.gif
so I probably won''t post a pic. Glad you got the table. She will LOVE it! I like the blanket idea. A friend gave me a beautiful cream one from babygap and got her name put on it (I guess there is a place at the mall). I thought that was a nice touch.

firey, I would get a gift for your co-worker. Mamas get left out and I am sure the kids are getting lots of stuff for x-mas.
