Poor Gabe isn't in it, can he wear K's onesie? I know it isn't butch, but it'd still be cute

Can J be a brownie girl as well?
Lili, jadelyn''s hair is cracking me up! How does it stay like that?? It is antigravity! She will kill you for all those pics when she is 13... oh well!

That rocks Tgal! You are talented!!!!

Diver, Delaney is so gorgeous~

lili, love J''s hair!! Her expression cracks me up..

Burk & lili, love the girls in their brown onesie!

TGal, love the version 2.0, let me guess, you''re a graphic designer?

Nope...I think that''s Tacori''s line of work? I just used to work for a company that does photo editing software so I can play around a little, but I am by no means a pro (don''t know how to use PhotoShop).

More later after lunch...

Diver love the new pics. Glad your visit with Mara went well. She is a sweetie with plenty of spunk. And speaking of, your sweetie is adorable...even when serious!

lol msb...I was going to send the collage to TGuy to show him how cute the PS babies are, but I was afraid he would think I''m wacko. (well, he already does, but you know what I mean.)

Ella, can''t wait to see the hair! I wonder what''s going on with your perfect darlings? I do know that Amelia sometimes is all over the map too, but it only seems to last for 2-3 days.

Curly, have fun this weekend!

Burk...well, now you HAVE to post a pic of your hubby. Hee hee. (kidding).

Jas, let me know what you think about the SS info...I''m curious to know how the franchise works (not that I am interested in doing it!) And as I mentioned about sleep, Amelia has been doing something similar (no crying, only fussing and just playing by herself). I only feed her once still, but that feeding is now anywhere from midnight to 3 am (it was previously pretty consistent at 2ish). She even woke up at 11pm one night but I popped the paci back in her mouth and she went back down for awhile. Strange babies eh?

Hey Alj, thanks! I will try your advice this weekend...

Tgal--i''ll let you know about SS, i am very curious as well.
Re: babies--maybe the awakenings are related to something developmental. They have really found their hands in the past week or two.

off to make dinner--my appetite has not let up while BF-just as bad as when i was pregnant. I think i''ve gained weight this month-uuggh. Summer bbq''s don''t help much either....

Oh TGal! You are so talented and the everyone's babies are so adorable! How funny that all the girls have the same onesie!

t-gal...that pic is just wonderful. I LOVE it. i seriously want to print it out and frame it and I don''t know any of you personally, yet for some reason I feel I do??
33.gif

T-gal great job on the pictures and.... oh boy more baby pictures. Ladies: YOUR BABIES ARE SO DARN ADORABLE. They get more adorable with each picture. I want to smooche their little baby faces.!!!!!

Linda

TGal--
Great job on the collage.
Love it

I like how you position Katelyn too...she's like the big sister supporting (helping them to sit) the younger ones

Burk--wacky story--. I guess some women just feel more comfortable BFing around other women (if they are strangers) but still, your husband obviously was kind and supportive. I guess he is just so handsome she felt embarassed or something[8)
I agree, why else would you mention supermodel
41.gif

Speaking of sleep, Co has been all over the map the past few days. Last night he was up at 1:30, 2:30, 5:30 an d 7:30--i only fed him at 2;30 and 5:30 (usual times) i don''t know what was up with the other wake-ups? He wasn''t crying, just fussing a bit and very awake, i re-swaddled and stroked his head and he eventually went back to sleep
33.gif

I had some nights where J would wake up on the hour.
Sometime she''d want to eat, other times, she just want to be cuddled.
I''d like to think that when she''s fussy like that, she''s going through some growth spurts.
DH said that if that''s the case, she''s been going through growth spurts since we brought her home
14.gif

So how his Co doing? How big is he?
Did he get his shots yet?
Are you guys mandated to get immunized like us here?
How about yourself? Are you getting some more sleep at night?

Ok....we were traveling the last few days. Finally made it to Ohio. T was good in the car but we planned it so we were driving during her sleep time. She is 8 months today! I cannot believe how fast it has all gone!

Tgal, love version 2.0! I wonder what other matching clothes we all have? Yes, I am a graphic designer but semi retired these days.

Lili, LOVE J''s hair. It is so funny. She has enough for a ponytail.

Burk, wow sounds like your hubby is a hunk
2.gif
Here''s the thing, I PERSONALLY would not feel comfortable BFing next to any stranger (though a man would make it worse). That is why I planned ahead when I was traveling along with T (and still BFing). That is what they make Breast pumps for.
3.gif

Diver, D is getting so big!!!! Such a cutie.

Ella, I TRY to be in control as much as possible. She has been waking up earlier and I ignore her until she cries. If K is content talking herself LET HER! That is my advice anyways. Half the time T will fall back to sleep on her own which is a vital thing IMHO. I would honestly leave them both in their cribs. Really try the 15 mins of crying rule. Only get them if it goes past 15 mins. Good luck dear!

Okay, I''m bad and haven''t gotten more than the first few pages of this thread read, I have skimmed through to see all the cute baby pics. They are all so amazingly adorable! I want to cuddle each and every one of them. I saw the brown onesie club and had to put Sabrina''s on even though it''s too big (lengthwise at least).

TGal,
I love the collage, it''s awesome. All the babies are soooo cute!! This thread makes me smile!!!
9.gif

Lili--funny, cuz Charlie said the same thing about growth spurts--i use them to explain away everything so i guess he has been in a perpetual spurt
3.gif

I think Co''s well over 13 lbs now, but i haven''t weighed him in a couple of weeks, and no shots yet (some are needed to attend school). I am a little nervous about shots--i need to start researching.
As for me--i am doing much better--not 100%, but better.
How bout you--still staying up to the wee hours?? I was thinking about you the other day when you said you are not a ''talker''. I am fairly outgoing but still find it awkd. I normally just narrate what i am doing around the house.

Tacori, I''m a graphic designer too. Do you freelance? I thought about freelance so I can stay home with little B. But now I feel there is no way I can freelance at home and take care of him at the same time. I don''t think I''ll be able to get any work done.

SB, Sabrina is so cute!! how old is she?

TGal - I too am very sorry for your loss. I''m glad you have an angel like Amelia to help you through. She''s a little sweetheart!

1lili - J''s hair is AWESOME! Sabrina''s did that (to a lesser degree) until it got long enough to lay down on it''s own (about 6months). I was told to put baby oil in it to help it sit down; it worked but I much prefer the fluffy head. I just wish we could''ve gotten a good mohawk going like J - very stylish!

Burk - I''m glad to hear T is doing better with the reflux. I hope she grows out of it completely very soon. Sabrina had it too and it''s so sad seeing your baby suffer. She was on Prevacid from 1.5mos until just last week. We took her off and she''s only had one puking/choking episode.
btw, I looove T''s eyes - so beautiful!

Tacori - Tess sounds a lot like my girl. She loves to take her spoon from me during feedings and will throw them across the room whether she''s done or not. I usually use 2 spoons during feeding time, 1 for fedding and the other for playing/throwing. She refuses to eat at ALL if she doesn''t get to hold one on her own.

MrsS - Jake is such a handsome little man your dog is super cute. They look like great friends already.

Bobo - I read the same thing about giving the bottle/boob before cereal but that certainly doesn''t work for me. Sabrina doesn''t seem to care for solids at all and won''t eat if she''s nursed any less than 2hrs prior. I give her the boob after and I can tell that she still drinks plenty since she has lots of wet diapers each day. Lil B will let you know what works for him.

Elaila - the twins are so cute. They have the BEST expressions ever!

Diver - love the pics! The serious expression is too funny. I love when babies give those looks; makes me wonder what the heck they''re thinking.

btw, Sabrina says thanks for the sweet compliments. It means a lot to her considering how adorable all your little ones are.

Bobo - Thanks, Bri will be 8 months old tomorrow. Am I the only one who thinks their little one is growing way too fast?

Haha, I''m glad J''s funky do is giving you ladies a laugh.
I swear, her hair just has a mind of its own.
It''s like there is an invisible balloon hovering over her head or something.
The more I try to brush it down, the higher it sticks up.

SB
I meant to say how adorable your Sabrina is!
The girls are glad to have her in the club!
Isn''t it funny how practically all the little ladies have the brown onesie (wonder if D has one as well?)
Loving your avi....there''s something about little girls with pigtails that just make me smile.
I saw your avi in some ring thread and was going to ask you to come join the mommies thread, but didn''t know if you follow that thread.
Anyway, it''s good to have you here.

And yup, our little ones are growing toooooo fast

Jas12
That''s good that you are getting some sleep.
Hehe, yup still staying up to the wee hours.
I''ve always been a night owl.
I can stay up as late as I want, but forget about getting me to wake up early.
I know what you mean about the awkwardness of narrating.
That''s why I like it when my mom and sisters are here.
They know how to talk to babies.

Just a drive-by, but I had to post about this woman on the twins forum who has:

11-year-old triplets
a 9-year-old singleton
5-year-old twins
AND 3-year-old twins

OMG!!!!!!
23.gif
EIGHT kids?! Three different times dealing with multiple newborns at once?! My life with just two babies feels like a cakewalk right now ...

Happy 4th everyone!

Oh man. WOW. I totally could not handle that at all.

Tgal!! OMG! It''s just too cute for words!! Thank you!

Bobo~Thanks!

As for the woman on the plane. I just thought it was odd. Here we have Tgal already starting to think about her plane trip to Oz, Tacori was planning how to pump on her trip to Mexico and it doesn''t occur to this woman that she might be seated next to a business man? I totally agree I would not feel comfortable breastfeeding next to some guy I didn''t know, but I guess I would have a back-up plan if I wasn''t sitting next to a "grandma."
21.gif
I think she was trying to pay him a compliment by calling him a supermodel, but I guess, to me, it would have been more appropriate to say "I would like to breastfeed my child and I wouldn''t feel comfortable doing so with a male sitting next to me, would you mind changing seats" or something similar to that. Or, I agree with Tacori-plan ahead and pump. To each their own.

Tacori~hope you have a god trip!

StephensBride~Sabrina is a cutie! Glad to hear there is light at the end of the tunnel with the reflux thing and that Sabrina is doing better!

Shoot....T is on a nap strike and up after only 20 minutes!!!

HAPPY 4th EVERYONE!!

Burk--we still want a pic of your hubby
2.gif
--i am heading to europe with Cohen in october. DH will be with me so i''ll probably just take the window seat and BF instead of pumping, but i have some time to think about it. I wish there wasn''t any stigma attached to BF in public (i have to admit i avoid it when possible and i am pretty open about things). I think things are slowly changing. In toronto they are now posting BF-friendly signs in restaurant windows. It is of course a woman''s right to BF anywhere in public, but these stickers just let moms and other customers know it is a supportive and ''open'' environment.

Ella--3 sets of multiples--oy! I would be a basket case! I am impressed she has even a min to log onto a twins blog, never mind contribute to it!

Hey Jas, call the airline as soon as you''ve booked your tickets and request exactly the seats you want. Nobody will notice if you''re tucked in with Co, and hubby''s beside you. Most people will be sleeping on the way there, and you can always throw a blanket over you on the way back.

Anyway, I think people are understanding. What do they want Co to do? Starve?

I am generally a somewhat shy person, but I've learned to feel quite comfortable breastfeeding in public. I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of (in fact, quite the opposite) and, hopefully, the more people see women nursing in public, the less women will feel like they need to hide.

That said, now that my daughter is 20 months, I am starting to feel a tiny bit self-conscious nursing her in certain public places. We're flying down to visit my parents in a few weeks and I do find myself feeling a bit worried that people will think she's too old to be nursing. I'm sure many people will think that and that I shouldn't care since it's really none of their business, but I will feel much more self-conscious than I did when she was an infant. It's really too bad that women should ever feel uncomfortable doing what they feel is best for their kids, but I really think it has something to do with the ambiguity of breasts as both functional and sexual.

One of my girlfriends is such a stealth breastfeeder its not funny. She can feed her son & I have no idea and shes right in front of me. I turned around to see how this adorable baby was doing on the flight home last night & his mom was feeding him & you couldn''t see a thing. His face was buried in her chest & all you saw was his head & her shirt and no boob. I smiled at her cuz I didn''t want her to think I was giving her the hairy eyeball or soemthing. I''m kinda shy & I bfed jake in front of my whole family...brothers & dad included. They were all grossed out ''cept for my dad. But my mom nursed us, so he''s been through it a few times. But I wore a nursing tank, so its not like they saw anything. I think I threw a blanket over my shoulder while I got him latched on & then you can pull it off so they get fresh air.

It always AMAZES me that folks are offended by breastfeeding. I mean, DUH..seriously, what else are those suckers for? You can''t get any more natural than that. I had a hard time with it & bottle fed D, but I hold it high regard & respect nursing mothers immensely.

Allison: I''m going to have to re-read your posts while I play with my camera. You should start a thread! Thank you!

Where did you all get that brown onesie? D feels so left out! LOL. Cute as can be. I have a brown shirt like that from baby gap that I adore her in.

Well, my kids are wild children. My parents did a great job taking care of them, but D is being a little standoffish and Jake is all hyper, so happy to have me home. MOMMA MOMMA MOMMA! THAT''S MY MOMMA! I mean, I adore the lovins, but sheesh pardner...put it in park already!

Funnneeee

Ok, I smell poo....back later

Burk: Could you do me a HUGE favor? Could you take a pic of the BACK of your hair??? I just showed my bff your hair & she also thinks your cut would be right on me, so I want to take a pic to my stylist. :-)

Gosh I love PS...everyone here is so helpful one way or another!!!! LOL....

I hope Tayva feels better, reflux sucks...

Ella: Daners is waking earlier and earlier these days too. Growth spurt. How old are the twins? My advice is to bink her, and go back to bed. Let her fuss till she falls back asleep. But that''s me. I''m 90% tough. The other 10% you''ll find Daners in bed with me. Just depends on my mood and what I''m up for, or how upset she is...blah blah blah. Jake did it too and I used to either let him fuss it out after checking on him or take him to bed with me, but it all involved going back to bed. LOL.

Wish me luck...Potty 101 starts TOMORROW!
