Burk, little B have about 6 oz formula 4x a day and solids in between formula so that is about 3x a day. So he is eating, just don''t know where all the food went. We might need to do a food journal for the pedi too.

Tacori, his pedi is worry, he did ask me if I was a skinny baby and I was. Both my husband and I are not big so i guess it is genetic. But he still want to monitor his weight and see him in a month. I love Tessa''s beer belly and thunder thights!

I think it''s safe to put a pillow for Tessa now she is a lot older. little B co-sleep with us sometime and he''ll often to sleep on my pillow so I guess they like pillow.

jas12 awww, poor Co. no fun being sick! but i must say what an adorable pic of him that was!!! he is so cute!!!

burk poor T!!! ok after this, she will get that long break from anything and everything....i hope!!

mrsb we just got back from 1 of the school, and we LOVE it, but not so much the price. haha!! but we have a few more that we will be visiting this week.

bobo when we took B to his 1 year appt, he didn''t gain any weight between 9 months and 12 months and the pedi was not concerned at all because he is just so much more active and ALWAYS on the move. he was eating the same amount, if not more, but just burning a lot more. if little B is happy and healthy, there is nothing to worry about.

tacori i hope you are able to get to the mall soon to get your new laptop. if i was by you, i would take T for the day!! B has a pillow that he uses, like burk said, just a throw pillow type thing. it was actually one of the pillows that we just had hanging around the house, and 1 day he took it with him to take a nap and put it under his head and just started to use it as a pillow.

snlee how is the first day back at work going? i hope you''re doing ok. how is D doing? still fussy at night?

lili, love your new avatar! I wish little B got a belly and thunder thights...but he only got a chubby face...lollipop boy

Burk, I have been eating more. Evil cycle! So you will still work 11-3 when the second baby is born? Just curious. Sometimes I worry that it will take a long time to get preggo again since I got preggo so easily last night. Then I remind myself that is silly and not to worry UNTIL I have something to worry about. Where did you get the little pillow?

tee hee hee... really Tacori?
9.gif

I better not be! Leave it to you to point out my mistakes DD! Haha!
2.gif
I never proof read my posts so I make a lot of mistakes. Getting nervous? Excited?

Thanks for all the pillow advice. I was thinking those little airplane ones would be perfect. I think they sell them at target.

Burk
Tayva just couldn''t catch a break huh?
Ugh, so does she need to take the Nystatin for the thrush?
J did not like that one bit
14.gif
although there is a girl in her class who loves it -- asked for more after she got her dose.
Haha, we do have squirrely girls with lots of energy. I''d love to see T on the swing too.
I know, seeing my teeny nephew just want to make me start TTC right now (just for a brief moment
41.gif
)
J is too much of a handful right now for me to even think about TTC.

QT
Forgot to answer your question about TTC.
We are planning some time in the summer.
Not April since that would mean having a newborn during football season and hubby is a die-hard fan of his SD charggers.
Besides, I''ll need a couple of months to recuperate after weaning and also to get my dental appt in.

snlee
Hope you are doing ok with first day back at work.

Jas12~The count down for the bell is on for sure! I''m so excited for you that you''ll only be teaching mon, wed, fri. That''s awesome! I really want to get preggo this month so the baby will be due in November.
5.gif
I know the chances of that happening aren''t great so I just need to relax! When would you like to have your second?

lili~Love the new avi!! Her hair is so long and that facial expression is priceless! I have to do T''s hair every morning now because it''s so long. Do you?

dd~That is hilarious that you caught that....I totally read right past it and read it how she intended it. Funny. You''re getting so close. So exciting!

Bobo~Do you do any solid food snacks like yogurt or crackers? We do 6 solid feedings a day in addition to formula. You could always try and if he doesn''t take it, he doesn''t. If you and DH are both small it makes sense that he will be too!

Not your mistakes, Tacori, your secret wishes and desires!
3.gif
I am getting... nervous, excited... all of the above. I just want it to happen NOW!

Thanks puffy, I think the pedi is more worry than us.

Burk, we have tried yogurt which don''t really do it for him because we think he is intolerant to cow protein because the skin around his lips got red and swollen minutes after he ate the yogurt. Same thing happen when we tried to give him whole milk. And he doesn''t like crackers or cereal, he''ll gag and make a face like he is ready to throw up and just throw them all on the floor.

We are also a little worry that little B is a little behind. He still doesn''t feed himself yet, but he''ll put toilet paper and toys in his mouth but never food...*sigh* so much to worry about.

lili~I seriously can't remember the last time T was healthy for a full week!
39.gif
Poor thing. She does take the thrush med really well. We had it flavored grape. Our girls are both super energy babies. Apparently I am looking past how tired T makes me and only remembering newborn cuddles because we are no longer preventing.
23.gif
I don't even let myself think about how much work it will be.

ETA: Bobo~T didn't tollerate whole milk, either. That's why we're still on formula. Her GI doc told us to try again in a couple weeks. B will get it all in good time. T doesn't feed herself with a spoon, yet. Does he like puffs? I don't know any baby that doesn't like puffs!
3.gif

Burk, now you know one. He doesn''t like puff...He is a picky eater

puffy
Awwwee...that''s so sweet. But you know, I only post the good pictures on here.
Most time, she''s like this.

Tacori
Gaining weight is typical when you workout.
I remember I was actually at my heaviest in college when I took step aerobics, but I was really toned and my clothes were looser on me.
You''ll get to your ideal size before you know it and you''ll be a knockout in your BM dress!
Is Tessa going to be the flowergirl?

Hehe, I''ll say...T and J will probably terrorize all the other kids considering how strong and independent they are.

J took a couple of steps a few weeks back, but she hasn''t made much progress since then.
I guess she didn''t like feeling sore in the bum
41.gif

Jas12
Co is just styling! Love his beret cap....too cute.
Bummer about teething. Is it his upper ones? Be prepared to see four of them out at the same time.
J was a major crappy pants (more so then her usual self :P) when they came in.
Her hair is getting pretty long. I try to tie them up everyday, but she''s so wriggly that most time I just do one.
She''s so difficult when it comes to doing her hair that I''m tempted to get some gel and just click her bangs back.

Ooo.....no hurry w/ the recipe. Thanks.

Burk, now you know one. He doesn''t like puff...He is a picky eater

That''s the first!
Have you tried giving him mashed up avocado?

Burk
Haha, at least T will sit still for you to tie her hair.
I have to literally sit on J to tie one pigtail!

so much to catch up on and i''ll be back later but wanted to tell Tacori that I got my girls little pillows from Pottery barn kids. i love them and the little pillow cases are cute too. target probably has them too though and they''d be cheaper.

okay, be back in a bit...

Bobo
ic… but what can you do if little B is eating but not gaining weight?
Love the pics. Glad little B had a blast.
Don’t worry about little B not feeding himself yet. Every babies learn at their own pace.
msb700
Thanks.
Burk
Poor Tayva is going through so much. Hope she feels better soon.
snlee
How was ur 1st day back to work? Is pumping going well?
Hmmm… am I the only who haven’t move up nipple level/stage? M is still using stage 1. She isn’t frustrated or having a hard time drinking. I don’t think the nipple collapses when she drinks. Do I still have to move up to the next stage? I tried stage 2 when she was younger (around 3 months), but it was too fast for her.
Puffy
How r u and Brady?
Tacori
Wow you are doing great with your workout. I bet you’ll be a hot mama by Aug (not like you are not already).
Teething is a PITA b/c the symptoms come and go, but the teeth don’t want to show.
I think we are due for new pics of Tessa. =P
Jas12
OMG Co is such a cutie pie. And the outfit is just sooo stylish.
Hehe. I don’t believe that you are sick of hearing “momma”. M is always making “baba” sound, so DH says she is calling him (“baba” is Chinese for Daddy). She had only made “mummama” sound once and she wasn’t looking for me. Hehe.
lili
I kno… the bloody gum is probably not bothering her too much b/c she still plays and not extra fussy. Just a shocker to see. So J might be exactly two years older than baby. How exciting. So many PS mommies TTC around the same time.
We are still jealous of J’s hair. Love the new avatar.
LOL on J not liking feeling sore.
DD
LOL. You caught that fast.

Hi to all the other busy mommies.
35.gif

When did you introduce puffs? So far, I gave M RC, green bean and snowpea. RC for lunch and veggies for dinner. I am doing pea next, then we’ll do carrot and buttersquash before fruit.

M can roll both ways now. She’s been pushing up with her legs and sticking up her butt. It’s so funny.

My friend just gave birth on Valentine’s to a baby girl. Another playmate for M. =) We haven’t visit them yet, as she just called me during work today. She says she doesn’t want us to visit until she looks better.

QT
Thanks. She doesn''t have nearly as much hair as snlee''s D and MrsM''s Amelia.
Hehe, DH''s idea is to have them exactly 2 years old with bdays in April so that we only need to do a party :P

We gave J puffs around 7 months.
Sounds like M is gearing up to crawl!

DD, ahhh...clearly you don''t know me well then
2.gif
I am very gun shy about having another baby.
32.gif
The baby will be here before you know it. Enjoy these last days b/c your life is about to change. You will do great. We''ll be here to answer your questions and listen to your vents.

Bobo, I bet little B is right on track. I know how easy it is to worry though.

Burk, I have never tried to have T feed herself with a spoon. Sounds messy. Maybe I should give her one with her peas. She hearts steamed peas. She will "brush" her teeth which is pretty cute.

Lili, T will be the flower girl. Not sure if she will ACTUALLY walk down the aisle but she will be cute none the less. Poor T had another rough night at child watch. I am pretty sure she cried on and off the whole time (AGAIN). She FREAKED when she saw me. Started screaming/crying and trying to leap towards me. Once in my arms she did the whole "Ba Bye", wave routine. She even took her paci out of her mouth to say it. Too funny. T started walking (what I considered walking which was 6+ steps) at 10.5 months so maybe J will be the same. I guess we never have to worry about a guy pushing around our little girls!
27.gif
T hates when I mess with her hair too!

MrsS, thanks for the tip! When did you give your girls their first pillow? Is now an appropriate time?

Q, oh, you are so sweet! I think my beauty is fading with age (not fishing. I promise). Oh well. I think I might take tomorrow off. I worked out Sunday, Monday and today so I think I deserve to skip the gym tomorrow. Teething is seriously so horrible! I hear ya. I think I started puffs at 7 months. She will gag at first so be aware. She won''t choke though. Yay for her milestones! I bet she looks so cute with her tush in the air. She could be ready to crawl soon. T started at 6.5 months. Babyproof!

burk- poor T..that little girl just cannot catch a break
7.gif

Jas12- OMG, love the pic of Co..he is just so handsome!

lili-love you''re new avatar..J is so darn cute..

tacori-i think a little pillow would be fine. My dr. said jake can have a favorite teddy bear, blanket, or whatever so I don''t see how a small pillow would be any different. it''s not like it''s a down filled king size that she could somehow get stuck under or something.

Bobo~Oh my! No puffs? Crazy! He is picky!

lili~I think the only reason T sits still when I do her hair is because I keep doing it and pulling her hair even if she''s wiggly so she figures it''s less pain if she just sits still for a few minutes!
3.gif
Those are the only couple minutes I can ever get the girl to sit still!

QT~Thanks! Yay for milestones! We did puffs at around 7 months as well. T still LOVES her puffs.

Tacori~It would be messy if Tayva actually had any interest in feeding herself. She loves spoons, but does not have any interest in trying to put the food on her spoon to put it in her mouth. All in good time I guess. Tayva loves to "brush" her teeth too! I have to pry the darn toothbrush away most days!
20.gif
Sorry Tessa had another rough night at child watch. So funny that she was saying bye when you left, though. Smart girl!
2.gif

mrss~Thanks! She really hasn''t had much luck. What''s the status on your move?

Just got back from dinner with some girl friends. We met at 7 so I didn''t miss any time with T. It was fun. Now I need to grade papers!
7.gif

Thanks Qtiekiki, we need new pix of M!! We gave puff to little B around 8 months but he don''t like them.

Thanks Tacori, Parenthood is bad on the heart and we get a lot more gray hair from worrying too much. Sorry to hear Tessa had another rough night at child watch

Burk, yeah...no puffs, he is a pain. The other day I was snacking on some potato chips and he saw me eating the chips and moved towards me in the playben and show interest. So I gave him some cereal. He didn''t object this time so I bought some star shaped puffs last night at BRU and let''s hope he''ll let me trick him again.

The doctor had prescribe little B vitamin, I asked the pedi if he can prescribe him fat. I''m this desperate.

40.gif

Hi mommies! Things are crazy busy here! Thanks for the nipple help and for thinking of me during my first day back at work. Today was better than I had thought it would be. It was hard but the day went by quickly, getting situated and talking to co-workers. I pumped twice. As I suspected, I wasn''t able to get that much - 8 oz. My frozen stash is going to run out soon so I hope that the amount will increase as I get used to the pump. I''m trying to drink more water too. I''m realizing how busy my weekday life is going to be. It''s so hard to spend quality time with baby after working a full day. I missed him so much! I think D might be sick or coming down with something. For the last few days, he''s had a dry cough and sounds stuffed up when he breathes every once in a while. Tonight his voice sounds horse. He doesn''t have a temp. I wish I knew how he was feeling! Do we need to give him any medicine or call his pedi? I''m pretty exhausted so I''m heading to bed soon. I am very behind but hope to catch up tomorrow.

lili you mean J isn''t a pretty little girl ALL the time? how is she doing? walking yet?

tacori poor T at the gym. maybe one day she will get used to it and have fun. B loves to brush his teeth too and he even tries to brush my teeth. kids are so funny!!

burk how is T doing? better i hope. i keep waiting for you to post that your are preggo. heehee. i am so excited for you that you are trying.

snleeso glad that your first day at work went quickly. i hope D feels better. if you are worried that its something other than a cold, then you should call the pedi.

qt M sounds so cute! sounds like she is getting ready to crawl. did her teeth come in yet. B and i are better. thanks for asking. 7 months seems to be when most of us started to give puffs. B took to it right away, but the texture of it took a little bit to get used to. but he did love them when he had them.

mrsS how is Jake doing?

bobo so glad to hear that little B is doing well. i can''t believe he does not like puffs! that is seriously unheard of!! are you giving him table foods or baby food?

35.gif
Hi mommies. Just a quick drive by today since I''m at work (early) and I''m supposed to be working. Been busy here. Still no teeth for James and he had a bad reaction to a new food last week. He''s okay - it just gave him a tummy ache, poor baby. He''s getting bigger by the day!

Snlee - I hope your transition to work goes well. It is hard at first but it will get better before you know it. Good luck with pumping at the office.

Burk - Sorry that Tayva is sick! I feel so bad for her - she''s such a sweet little girl. I''m sending some get well vibes her way.

Q - Yay for starting M on foods! James loves peas and carrots! We alternated veggies with fruits. Post some cute pics of her messy face
12.gif

Bobo - Have you asked the pedi about using the high-cal formula that''s available? James is skinny too but he''s also really tall for his age.

Sorry to anyone I missed. More later!

burk- things are progressing with the move. much of the timing will be if/when I get a job. my hubby is actually in nashville working now and will be going back and forth until we can all get back down there. I don''t want to pull my kids out of school and ideally, as much as I don''t like it here, I''d still like for them to finish out the school year if possible.

puffy-Jake''s doing well, thanks for asking. he''s asleep now, hence my chance to get on PS
3.gif

snlee-i''m glad work is going well for you. I bet it is nice to be around other adults for a while each day too.

bobo- good luck with getting little b to eat. I wish I had some words of advice for you.

lili
if M is like me, then she won''t get a full set of hair until she is much older.

Tacori
You deserve a day off. I think u r way too hard on yourself. I''ve seen ur pic and ur beauty had not faded. Though I also feel like I am looking my age now, whereas I feel like I can pass for younger before.
T is a smartie. She knows what she wants. So cute about her byebye routine.

snlee
Sound like u did ok on ur 1st day. 8oz from 2 sessions is great. That''s what I would get if I only pump twice. How many times does D feed when u r @ work? R u pumping as many times as he feed?

puffy
Thanks. We saw the top teeth yesterday, so glad they broke through already n M is back to waking up past 7am.
Glad you guys r doing better.

Bobo
LOL on prescribing fat. I m sure he is doing fine.
Burk
Thanks.
Yay for girls'' night.

Diva
James is ok with going back and forth between fruits and veggies? I figure I''ll give her veggies first, so won''t be picky like me. I hate peas, carrots and celery (I''ll eat the last two when they are used in soups or stews only).
We need new pics of James.

snlee, I hope D is not sick. but I think as long he doesn''t have a temp, you can just observe him.

puffy, we gave him both baby food and table food. He doesn''t like puff but he loves bread especially fresh out of the oven.

DivaDiamond, little B is on soy formula and I don''t think the high cal-formula come in soy. Sorry to hear about the reaction to the new food, what did he had?

Thanks MrsS, we weren''t that worry because he''s been skinny and low on the chart since his first visit. But pedi is really worry this time so that got us nervous.

Thanks Qtiekiki.

Tacori
Hehe, Miss Independent here might decide that she''d rather hand out the petals to the guests instead of walking down the aisle huh?
I agree, T will be super cute and be the star of the bridal party.
Poor baby and poor mama. I''m sure it''s more traumatic for you to see her bawling like that.
J went through that stage for a few months when she started daycare too. It''s like they are trying to make us feel guilty for deserting them.
Too funny how quickly T''s tears dry up as do the wave off
9.gif
So much attitude already!
I have to laugh at your comment about not fearing someone pushing our little girls around.
She''s already brought tears to several kids in the daycare. 3 of which from hair pulling when they took her toys and 2 from biting when they shove their fingers in her face. She''s even brought tears to DH''s eyes on several occasions.

I don''t know if I would say that''s she walking yet.
She did take 6 steps at daycare the other day, but very wobbly.
She''s not taking onto walking as fast as she took to crawling.
She pretty much crawling within a week after she figured out the motion of crawling.
Different with walking though. She took her first 2 steps about a month ago, but hasn''t done much.
One of her classmate took 6 steps this week and they said that he took his first step over the weekend!

Oops...sorry for the long post.
