Haha, maybe I shouldn''t be too nice w/ her either her.
Let her feel the pain.
How cute is that that both Ts love brushing their own teeth.
I think J would be eating the toothbrush if we let her try brushing herself.

Bobo
LOL on the fat prescription.
That''s great that he didn''t object to his cereal -- is it Cheerios?
Maybe you need to eat some of his baby food since he seems to like what you are eating
5.gif

snlee
It will get easier.
8 oz is really good w/ 2 pumpings.
Drink water and eat some protein as well.
Sorry to hear that D is coming down with something.
Like puffy said, see the pedi if you don''t know what it is.

puffy
You didn''t see that picture?
Oops...didn''t post.
She''s still got mucuous in her nose....but it''s not runny or stuffy -- so that''s good.
She''s taking more steps, but I wouldn''t say walking just yet
41.gif

Is B doing better? All his molars out yet? And canines too?

Diva
Poor James. What was it that didn''t agree w/ his stomach?

MrsS
That''s great about the progress.
So summer is anticipated move?
So what is Jake up to these days?

QT
Yay for the top teeth coming in.
She might still be fussy since the top four seems to come in about the same time.

hi guys! cant stay too long today but im going to post a pic or two...hope y''all are well!

Pave--
He's scrumptious and sooooo adorable!

30.gif

I see a headful of hair too!

:). t is about 5 wks old here

DSC02460.2.JPG

Thanks Lili! I love his hair too!

really quick...

pave tyler is such a cutie pie!!

Is it possible that my little girl is already boy crazed? I went to At&t store to get a charger and the guy who was helping us (early 20s I would guess) didn''t even acknowledge Tessa. Still she got real quiet and was smile at him. A flirty smile (I am NOT kidding). totally different than her normal. She might have even been batting her eyelashes. I was laughing and told the guy she was flirting with him and he was like, "yeah kids love me." Then I met a friend and her 18 month old DD at Panera for dinner and she kept smiling at ANOTHER 20 something year old guy. WTF?!? She freaked out and started crying whenever I left her (to go order and go pick up the food). I was kinda surprised since she knows my friend. I think she has emotional scars from child watch. We did sign up for a class together at the Y (similar to gymboree). Hopefully she will enjoy that.

MrsS, T have been sleeping with 2 blankets for awhile now. DH was worried she was cold. I think she finds them comforting. She also has a few small stuff animals in there.

Burk, my T loves spoons too. I swear she loves saying bye and totally hints when she is ready to go (or wants someone else to go). Tonight at dinner she started saying good bye to them while the mom and I were talking
20.gif
bossy! Fun you had girls'' night. I love girls'' night.

Bobo, don''t I know it. Motherhood is stressful! I can''t believe B doesn''t like puffs. What about goldfish crackers? Tessa''s fav. foods are gerber pasta pick-ups, bananas and peas (steamed). I guess it is pretty balanced at least since the pasta has meat inside. Did you ever ask your doctor about high calorie formula? They might have a soy version. That is what plumped T up. Guess I was making skim milk.

snlee, glad it went by quickly. How old is D again? There are really no safe cold meds. You can do baby vicks. If he is too young they make a plug in we used when T got her first cold at 3 months. Also a steam works well.

puffy, I hope she gets used to it b/c it breaks my heart. I was trying to run out when I dropped her off but people would NOT move out of my way
38.gif

Diva, sorry to hear about James. Guess the 3 day rule is a rule for a reason!

Q, you are seriously too nice to me
2.gif
I probably will always pass for younger b/c I am so short. My mom is quickly approaching 60 and looks 10 years younger (at least!) my grandmas are both 88 and look like they are in their 70s. Bye is her favorite word.

Lili, she is a handful. Sounds like so is J. She will probably go grab someone''s camera or something
20.gif
Luckily we have until Aug. to train her. Maybe bribe her with candy or something. She might walk down with my mom too b/c I think that would be really cute. I already warned my sister she WILL be the center of attention. Luckily my sister is totally in love with her so could care less if she is upstaged by Tessa. I thought Tessa was very wobbly for a month or two. I remember she was still falling on Halloween (right before her b-day). Of course she STILL will fall sometimes but now she mostly runs or marches (her newest trick). J will get the hang of it!

pave, So cute! Love his hair.

DD, ahhh...clearly you don''t know me well then
2.gif
I am very gun shy about having another baby.
32.gif
The baby will be here before you know it. Enjoy these last days b/c your life is about to change. You will do great. We''ll be here to answer your questions and listen to your vents.
haha... that''s why I teased you! And thanks for the encouragement. I''m sure I will be here venting soon!

tacori i just have to say that if T is boy crazed, B is crazy for the ladies. haha. every time i take him out and a woman helps us, restaurants, stores, anywhere, he gets real flirty with them. he waves hi, says hi, smiles like crazy and just does anything to get their attention. and he does his really cute laugh and just squirms up. it''s pretty funny. T sounds like a blast!!! i love T stories!

hi guys! cant stay too long today but im going to post a pic or two...hope y''all are well!
Pave he is gorgeous! How is his health after the surgery? Is he 100% now or will there be follow-ups? Sorry if I missed this information somewhere else...

Bobo~I see nothing wrong with tricking him!
2.gif
The dietitian at T''s pedi GI clinic just called and told me that she really wants us to slowly get whole milk into her diet because formula just isn''t enough after a year. She said it doesn''t give them the nutrients and calories they need. I didn''t realize that but thought of poor underweight B since he didn''t tollerate whole milk well either. Have you tried regular soy milk or the extra calorie formula Tacori suggested. Just thinking of ways to put on the lbs...
21.gif

snlee~Glad your first day back went quickly! We do baby vicks and a humidifier. Hope D feels better soon!

puffy~T had a rough night last night (coughing so hard we had to wake her up to give her a nebulizer treatment)and her allergist suggested we don''t take her to daycare for a few days to help get her asthma back under control so that''s what we''re doing. I would love to have a partner in the TTC game....you want to join me?
11.gif

Diva~Thanks! Sorry poor James had a reaction. That 3 day rule makes so much sense. T didn''t tollerate a few things. Luckily when we reintroduces them a few months later she did much better. Just curious, what didn''t he tollerate?

mrss~Glad things are working out! I think it would be much better for your kids to finish the school year...as a teacher I know how hard it is for kids to adjust (I''m talking with the curiculum and what they''re learning from one school to another)when they move in the middle of the year. Do they finish the end of May or beginning of June?

QT~Girls night was fun! We did veggies and fruit at the same time and T loves veggies. She would rather eat sweet potatoes than probably any fruit!
21.gif

lili~T does a lot of chewing on the toothbrush too!
5.gif
As for the walking...Tayva still preferred crawling and fell quite a bit for the first month or so. She just recently got to the point where she "runs" and tries to get tricky and she''s been walking for a couple months.

pave~He''s so cute! I love his hair!
30.gif
Hope you''re having a great time with your friend!

Tacori~So funny about T flirting already. Tayva does the same thing. The other night we went to a dinner party at my parents and Tayva spent the entire night with my little brother (18) and his friends. She would actually fuss if one of the moms tried to come and take her away!
20.gif
We''re going to have it rough for the next 30 years!
6.gif
My mom held Tayva''s hand when she walked at my sister''s wedding. I''m sure Tessa will steal the show for sure!! I seriously laughed out loud at the thought of Tessa urging you to go by saying "bye" while you were still talking! Sassy!
9.gif

I took T back into the doc today to check on the thrush and check her breathing. He said she sounds good. She''s been coughing like crazy still but I trust her doc and hoping that we''ll turn the corner soon. DH is going to stay home with her tomorrow so that she''s not in daycare around the kiddos and their potential sicknesses. The last thing we need is for her asthma to be compromised by catching another cold. What a mess. Good news is I''m taking Friday off so I''ll have another long weekend!
31.gif

DD, the girl I had dinner with is preggo with #2 due in May. Also our other friend is being induced with #2 this Friday so of course that topic came up. She KNOWS I am still freaked about the whole thing which makes me feel like a bad friend b/c I would hate to scare anyone!

Puffy, how funny? Does B have a type? Tessa seems to like young 20 somethings. She doesn''t do it that often but when she does it is so funny. I remember being at Costco with her over thanksgiving and she saw a guy she must have likes, she smiled, giggled, such a ham.

Burk, I totally think she KNOWS what she is doing! Already manipulative! How funny about Tayva. Sounds like she has the same type. Haha. Tessa will be 20 months (I think) at my sister''s wedding so hopefully she can semi follow directions by then. Poor T. Hope she doesn''t catch anything! Hope she grows out of this SOON!

Tacori~I thinking she''s "working you" already too! Scary how smart they are.
9.gif
Kinda concerned that our girls are after older men already. He he. One of my students tried to reassure me today about T growing out of this crap...she said she had asthma when she was younger too. It was so sweet. I so hope she grows out of it! Did you end up taking today off of working out? I did, but not by choice. Men.
20.gif

Burk, I took today off and went out to dinner instead (bad Tacori). I do hope T grows out of these issues. So unfair. Poor little girl.

pave- your little man is so precious!!

tacori-that is too cute about tessa flirting! Did you decide to get a pillow?

snlee-we did the baby vicks and a humidifier too.

lili-as much as I would love to move this weekend, i think summer would be the best time for my kids. some of it will depend on if/when i get a job or how my hubby''s work pans out. If we both get jobs there then obviously we''d have to move sooner. Jake is Jake. He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth. somehow finds the tiniest piece of lint or a wrapper or dirt and in the mouth it goes. He''s pulls up and cruises around on all the furniture but doesn''t really attempt to stand or walk on his own. If i try to hold his hands and walk him, he pulls his hands free and crawls, it''s just so much faster for him. Neither of my girls crawled until just after their 1st b-days and I''d be surprised if Jake did it any sooner. He also is my chunky monkey and LOVES food. He will eat just about anything I give him. I''m starting to worry though b/c I was feeding him squash the other night and we were eating pizza and he would not eat his squash. he would cry after every bite I put into his mouth. I know he wanted the pizza! Once they get the tastes of the yummy people food, it''s harder to go back to the pureed babyfood.

burk-i do worry about my first grader switching schools at this point, they finish the last week in May. I think she would do okay socially if we had to move sooner but it would still be a huge adjustment for her mid-year and my oldest is a creature of structure and routine. I just hate the fact that she''s going to be in 3 different schools in 3 years. hubby and i are weighing very carefully where we move b/c we cannot move again and switch schools on her any more
7.gif
the good news is Lily will be starting kindergarten in the fall so although it will be a new school for both of them, they will at least be going together. both of my girls are so happy to be moving home though. they really miss my mom, almost as much as I do
2.gif
will you take off work to watch T for a few days? I hope keeping her home helps her. I just feel so bad for her.

puffy- are you feeling better?

lili, no, he doesn''t like cheerios. It''s some organic cereal from WholeFood. I bought organic puffs by Happy Baby from BRU and give some to him last night. Took in 3~4 puffs and lost interest.

40.gif

pavelover, he is so adorable! Beautiful eyes.

Tacori, your Tessa flirting story really cracks me up. Haven''t let him try the goldfish crackers, have a feeling he''ll gag on it. I did ask the pedi about the soy version of the high cal. formula but they don''t make them in soy.

Burk, the pedi told us he can drink the soy formula as long as he want since it got all the vitamin in there. Plus he is eating other solid food. But he suggested we switch to regular soy milk and him prescribing little B vitamin. It''s cheaper than buying soy formula. So we''ll probably do that first then try the whole milk later.

Another busy day and sadly I haven''t been able to catch up. Poor D has his first cold. No fever so that''s good. But he sounds so stuffed up and his voice is hoarse. Poor baby. We need to get a warm-mist humidifier. Any recommendations?

Pave, Tyler is so adorable! I love his hair! We have the same onesie.

Finally had some time to catch up.

Burk, sorry to hear T has thrush! Hope it clears up soon. Yay for another long weekend!

Jas12, what an adorable picture of Co! He''s so stylish!

Tacori, thanks for the warning about level 3. We won''t try it anytime soon. Glad you enjoyed spending time with your mom. Sorry you are still having laptop troubles. Imagining T flirting with 20 year olds cracks me up!

QT, yay for M! Sounds like she''s doing well. Sorry about her bloody gums and teething. Has a tooth come through yet?

lili and QT, good to know that 8 oz is pretty good for pumping twice. D eats three times while I''m at work, about 6 oz each time so a total of 18 oz. Today I squeezed in a third pumping, and pumped a total of almost 12 oz. I am feeling full often so I know I need to start pumping more frequently or else my supply is going to go down.

puffy, are you feeling better? How is B doing? B flirting with the ladies is so funny!

Diva, sorry to hear about the reaction to the new food. What was it?

MrsS, it is nice to be around adults and to think about things non-baby related. It''s weird being away from him for so long after spending almost every single minute with him for a year (including pregnancy)! I miss D so much during the day!

Hi to anyone I may have missed!

I''m off to cuddle with my baby. Good night!

tacori T cracks me up!! B does have a type, he really tries harder at the ladies younger than 30ish (scary, i know). the gal at the babygap closest to us always flirts right back at B and the two of them just have a ball together. when i go there without him sometimes, rarely but it does happen, she always asks for her "boyfriend." B is the same way also, when he wants to go, he will make it known. he usually grabs me and says "mommy, bye bye now."

burk oh no, poor T!! my heart just goes out to her and you. it must be so hard on you as well. i am really praying that she out grows this. what a cute AV picture!! T has the best smiles!!!! girl, as much as i would love to join you in the TTC, i can''t do it on my own. haha!! DH and i agreed that summer would be best for us and our vacation plans for the rest of the year. we still have a few more vacations to plan. but, i do wish you the best of luck and i know it will happen for you so soon.

mrsS i am so much better. thank you. jake loves food! but that''s great that you have such a good eater. B loves to eat also. once he actually spit out sweet potatoes cause he wanted my pasta. so i knew it was time to give him some table foods.

snlee poor D!! you can also try saline solution. or take him with you when you take a shower and give him some steam treatment. we never used humidifiers so i don''t have a suggestion. i always used the shower when B got sick. i hope D starts to feel better!! poor baby. is he doing ok with your family?

lili i''m sure J will be walking in no time, but she''s probably in too much of a rush to actually walk since crawling is so much faster for her.

bobo little B is such a character! he only ate 3 puffs?!? i''m not a baby, but i think those things are pretty darn good! yes, i admit to snacking on B''s snacks!! i''m sure B is fine and they have you worrying for nothing. but the soy milk might make a difference if you do take him off the formula.

pave how is Tyler doing? how are you doing?

diva how is james?

qt how is M doing? back to her normal schedule? oh by the way, those cream puffs looked yummy!!!! which recipe did you use for them, if you don''t mind me asking.

hope all the other mommies are all doing well!!

snlee
Pumping at work is hard work. You are doing great. Keep it up.
Sorry that D has a cold. Hope he feels better soon.
Yup M''s top teeth had broken through the gum, just barely showing.

puffy
Yeah M is basically back to her "normal" schedule. She isn''t fussing or waking up when we lay her down. And she is back to waking up 7-ish.
Thanks. The cream puffs were so easy to make that I might not buy another from the store. I used the recipe from Joy of Baking. Though all the recipe that I saw online was basically the same. I also assemble and refrigerated them overnight, and they were not saggy the next day.

hey tacori, I was thinking about tessa and the pillow and remembered that I moved my oldest into a toddler bed when she was 17 months old
6.gif
. she had a pillow, quilt, the whole set. I had to move her b/c I was due with Lily in only 2 months and needed the crib for her. I just was not going to buy a second crib.

mrsS, yes I will get her a pillow. I have to go to BRU anyways so I thought I would look there and Target. I looked in the PBK catalog and they didn't offer one. Maybe online though. I agree waiting until your oldest is done with her school year really is the best.

Bobo, they make Goldfish Baby which are smaller than the normal ones. Maybe try that. T has never choked on one and she eats the regular size. Seems like every kid LOVES them. Too bad about the high cal not being soy. I am sure he will start gaining.

snlee, I have heard cool-mist is better. warm-mists have caused injuries (when the baby is older). We have the green frog one from Target that EVERYONE seems to have. Guess b/c it is cute. Get the vicks plus in too. I bought ours at BRU but I have seen them at Target too. Level 3 are fast. I can't imagine little D choking that down! Seeing my mom was great. We will see the rest of the fam in April. She is a flirt! So funny to watch. It is the most quiet she was all day like she was nervous or something. Maybe she just liked his giant CZ studs
3.gif

Puffy, too funny about B. I seriously do not understand how such little people can have such strong personalities already!

ETA: MrsS, we were posting at the same time. That is crazy. My neighbor moved her son in a real bed at 15 months. Can't imagine Tessa out of a crib. She is a trouble maker. But I totally wouldn't buy another crib either! What double stroller did you use?

Q, those cream puffs looked SO good! I wanted to have one!

hi, sorry for not catching on everyone''s posts--been very busy. Work, house, finances, everything is heightened with this market and it just makes life a chore. Living separate from DH during the week is also continuing and unfortunately starting to feel like the norm. Thank goodness for the baby--she''s the easiest, least demanding and most spririt lifting of all.

A few feeding related questions--Chloe''s doing great on the cereal. A bit more spitting up, but she really loves it and is noticeably livelier and happy when it''s a cereal feeding! Right now we''re doing 1x per day for 2 weeks. Then I''ll up it to 2x a day. From what I read if she can handle this for 3-4 weeks, then I can move onto the next food. This is where I get confused, is the next food another cereal (like oatmeal cereal)? Or does that mean a new food product (veggies, etc)?
And I know I should not give her juice or water--but I mean won''t she be thirsty once she starts these other foods? Formula doesn''t seem that thirst quenching..

And lastly, has anyone experienced a baby who does NOT like a faster nipple? I tried to ger her on medium flows which she can handle but she chokes and gets annoyed. So I go back to slow. But....she''s 4 months, it seems like she should want it faster. Or should I just let her call the shots..

sorry for the drive by..i haven''t read most recent posts. Although I did see pavelover''s pictures...what a CUTIE!

And snlee: sorry about D''s cold, and sounds like going back to work has gone really really well!

curly, where are ya?
emsmile.gif

tacori- I used the Schwinn Double umbrella stroller. It was okay and I liked how easily it folded and how compact it got but it was a pain at the mall b/c it was so wide, i couldn''t get through certain doors or aisles. I didn''t take the two of them on many adventures by myself though so I would often use 2 strollers and have my mom or sister help. Lily used my big stroller and I just had an umbrella for Chloe. It worked much better!

janine-I did the rice cereal, then moved to the oatmeal. Jake did not really like the oatmeal so I just moved on to veggies with him. I always give Jake a little sip of water after he eats, usually out of a glass b/c he won''t take a bottle and still basically just plays with a sippy cup. I do always fill a sippy cup with water for him though just in case he decides he actually wants to drink out of it. I don''t think babies get thirsty the same way we do. They also don''t have all the added salt in their foods which really bring on the thirst IMO.

Tacori--u deserve a nice dinner out! So cute about the flirting. Co does this funny thing when he sees a stranger. He coyly smiles at the person with his chin in his shoulder and eyes turned up, then buries his face into my chest, then pops his head back up and does it again. Ppl get the biggest kick out of it, but he does it for men and women which is funny. Tessa is smart, she's learning the power 'the flirt' has over 20 something men
2.gif

MrsS--it's great your kids are on board with moving back. That makes it a lot easier. I remember moving across the country when i was 10. I had to leave my first love and best friend Iain and i remember bawling my eyes out whenever a love song came on the radio (we drove for 5 days). Remember the song "that's what friends are for'? --yep, bawled. lol. I was dramatic at 10
9.gif

Looks like u have a busy year ahead of you but once u are settle again i am sure you guys will be very content.

Burk--glad T is going to be home with you guys for a few days in a row--that should help. Love your new Avi!!

Bobo--i was thinking of our non-gaining boys last night. This is what Co had for dinner (i kid u not):
1 baby bowl full of spaghetti squash mixed with a little rice cereal
3-4 tablespoons of cooked mixed veggies
About 8 black olives
2 fillets of trout (basically he ate a whole small trout that charlie caught last weekend)
A large handful of rice pasta with some tomato sauce !
And that is just dinner--he has a big breakie, lunch, a snack and gets nursed 4 times in the day!
6.gif
And to top it all off he doesn't move as much as most 10 month olds--so how he does not gain weight is a mystery to me....

Lili--i posted that recipe on the cuppie thread for you (it is so easy, so if the mood for brownie strikes...)
has our saucy miss J taken any more steps lately??

tgal-how's it going?

ETA--Pave--Tyler is SO beautiful! What gorgeous hair and features. Is your DH asian? Can't really tell by the avi, but T looks to be a beautiful combo.

Quick drive by--I''m actually getting a promotion at work
1.gif
so I''m totally busting my butt and haven''t really had time to do much else. I''m reading as much as I can here but I''m sorry that I can''t post as much until things settle down. I''m being watched pretty closely in my new position because the guy who had it before me is a bit of a control freak and wants to make sure I''m doing everything right. The good part is that after 10 years at this company, I will finally be a SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT!!!
36.gif
The bad news is that because of the economy, I''m not getting raise I deserve right now
8.gif
but my new contract will let me renegotiate next year based on the economic condition.

Anyway, things are going pretty well at home. Lucy is regressing a little bit in her sleep and I''m not sure why. Some nights she''s waking up twice, other nights only once. I think she may be teething but I have no clue. She''s just always hungry. We tried cereal a few weeks ago and she didn''t love it but I''m going to try again this weekend. She also has a bad cold and was sent home from daycare yesterday with a fever but as soon as I gave her Tylenol, it went away. So I don''t know what''s going on but I''m not really worried. I guess that''s the difference with the second child.
2.gif
Everything is just kind of like, "oh well, she''ll be ok!"
3.gif

Lily is still a rockstar. She talks NON-STOP and is putting 2 and 3 words together so she''s really starting to make sentences now. She is starting to like her French class and now says "bonjour", "merci", "au revoir" and "cochon" (pig)! It''s a real trip to watch her and realize that she gets it. The girl is no dummy and impresses me every day. She''s also an awesome big sister and really takes great care of Lucy. We just ordered the rail to convert her crib to a toddler bed so that will be an interesting experiment. I hope it works!

janine,
35.gif
I''m here, thanks for asking!!! Sounds like things are going well for you and Chloe, I''m so happy for you! I would do the oatmeal after the rice and then move on to veggies and then fruits. I don''t think they need water yet and I feel like there was a study a while ago that said it''s bad to give your babies water before they''re 6 months old. I think she''s getting plenty of hydration from the formula--it''s mostly water anyway.

Regarding the nipples, Lucy HATES the faster flow. She totally gags and it all comes pouring out of her mouth. Needless to say, we''re sticking with the slow flow ones. I don''t see any need to change anything if she''s doing fine. She doesn''t take forever to eat and isn''t collapsing the nipple so we''re sticking to what''s working. If it ain''t broke, don''t fix it!
2.gif
I know a lot of people like to go by the packaging, like if it says the slow flow nipples are for 0-3 months then they shouldn''t use them if the baby is 4 months old. I think that''s a bunch of crap! Do what works for your baby.

Sorry I''m missing everyone else. I''m really trying to keep up and loving all the photos. Hopefully things will slow down for me in the next few weeks but I''ll keep trying to read and follow everyone''s stories anyway!
1.gif

curly, just wanted to say CONGRATS! That is really awesome-- 2 little kids and still managed to pull off SVP after maternity leave--wow you're the rock star (and we see where Lily gets it from!)! I hear ya on the non-existant raises--things are tough now, good for ya for being sure you're able to renegotiate next year. What about your apt--do you think you guys might move somewhere bigger, or are you holding off? I think most people are holding off--now I wonder if we should have too. Thanks for letting me know Lucy hates the faster flow nipples too. I thought it was just my baby! Anyway, I know you're pretty swamped to be as much of a regular here--so it's really great to hear from you.
PS Lily saying "cochon" is too cute. My littlel sister also started French early, and one of her first words was "poubelle" (trash can)!

thanks everyone for the food tips. I assume it's ok that her bm's are also more solid now too due to the solid food in her diet--i guess that's another reason why I was wondering if she needed fluids.

Quick here...

Pave- Tyler is ADORABLE!!! More pictures please! Hope you are doing well.
Curly: Congrats girl! That is killer.
Tacori: I need to write you back, but I am feeling a bit better this week. I've gotten more sleep so that helps a LOT. And DH is making some job decisions which takes some pressure off, so that is really nice. And on the double strollers I have researched the heck out of them so let me know if you have questions. We ended up with a double snap n go (courtesy of your recommendation!), a Maclaren Twin Triumph (which we love love love so far, and is useable from birth. Fits through all doorways and folds small), and just this week I got a Mountain Buggy Terrain double stroller for jogging/easy paths (on closeout-that's the only reason we spent the $, otherwise they are like $500 so you probably don't want to go there. We got our for about $200) which gets rave reviews but we haven't used it yet.

Our Maclaren is awesome though and we paid around $200 for it, they are super cute colors too and comes with removeable seat liners and straps to change the colors (this picture shows all your options but you get 2 of each option plus you could go without a liner and then the stroller is just brown). You also could do a single stroller with a step if Tessa isn't a stroller girl...that is a great option for some people.

Hey everyone. I think Tessa and I will venture out to my favorite place...Target. I don''t really like to take her, eh ANYWHERE but maybe she will surprise me. I think my neighbor is backing out on our class tonight so I might just do cardio on my own. Not sure I am brave to do this class by myself (it is the hard one).

Janine, I am the odd ball on the board and didn''t feed her anything but grains until she was 6 months old. Once she is okay on RC you can try any of the single grains and work your way up. They have a handful. I would not give her water. I remember a study TGal posted where the baby got very sick drinking too much water. About everything eating related I have always followed T''s lead. No point to force her to drink from a faster nipple or something she might not be ready for.

MrsS, just curious. My friend who is due in May was asking me and besides the BOB I had NO idea. Hopefully I will never need one!

Jas12, it was at Panera so nothing TOO fancy

But nice to socialize since I barely see my DH. Her DH works for the errr... the government and is away for a seriously long training thing. So we are both on our own mostly. He only gets to come home a few weekends a month. Plus the girls LOVE each other. Her daughter says "Teassa" when ever she sees her. So cute! Co sounds adorable.

Curly, congrats friend! One day I will make it up to NYC. Probably in 20 years! Haha. You totally deserve it and hopefully you WILL get that raise soon. I bet Lucy is having a growth spurt. Maybe teething? Maybe both?

I feel like T eats less when teething. Lily is so darn cute. I cannot wait until Tessa talks more. Right now she doesn''t say much. Plus it is hard to really know WHAT she knows b/c she won''t follow direction well. Like for lunch I gave her a banana and said "banana! Can you say banana?" Of course she wouldn''t but I swear she said it when I was taking her out of her high chair. It sounded like she said "Yay banana!" Maybe it is wishful thinking but she does love her bananas and will spit any other food that she may be chewing on out just to eat her banana.

NF, glad things seem better this week. It is like a roller coaster ride (motherhood). Ups and downs and sometimes the car stalls. When I had that bad week I started researching preschools! Now I am not ready to let her go until fall 2010 (which was our plan from the start). I am sure in a few more weeks I will start researching again. My friend said she Tessa was crying she could see how swollen her gums were around where the molars come. I really think the evil teething monster caused a lot of the drama. I am glad your DH is also making some decisions. Let me know what he decides.

Once you have a plan and more sleep life seems a lot easier! As for the double stroller I just asked for my friend. Her kids will be 20 months apart. Hopefully I will never need one. I do love out Maclaren volo. I am planning 3 years apart so I will probably do one of the step and rides for when we go to the mall or something. Do you like your double snap ''n go? I have obviously never tried the double but am totally enamored with the single. I am lending it to my friend who is having her baby tomorrow.
