Love the photos!
So ladies, I have a new concern--I might be overreacting and being ridiculous, so figured I''d come here. Anyway, Chloe''s ears kind of stick out. I notice it, my family notices -- but just seemed kind of cute and I always figured it was something that would go away with hair. Well, now I''m starting to pay more attention..and notice things like her ear folds over easily when I''m feeding her (always been this way), and of course I started googling which has made me even more worried. Reading things about stints (sold in the UK), that you need to take care of it quickly etc. Geesh, I was distracted by flat head for the first3-4 months that I hadn''t thought about her ears!
Has anyone run into this? I also think it''s weird that these stints are only sold in the UK, maybe it''s just a scam. Plus seems so bizarre to have to wear tape on a baby''s ears for months.
Sorry for the silly post, but kind of on my mind...
Ack! I haven''t caught up so I missed this. My condolences as well msb, I am so sorry.Date: 3/11/2009 2:22:52 PM

Highchair question if no one minds... So the boys will be 3 months this week (!!!) so we are starting to think about highchair options. Our apartment isn''t huge and of course we need 2, so I am a bit stumped. I won''t pay more than $100 each either.
I''d love to get the ones that snap onto our table but because of the way our table is I don''t think that would work.
So I saw this-do you think it''s stupid to get this with no tray and no real backrest while they are so young? I really hate the huge ugly strap on the seat ones...

Hi Neat-
I think I am going to go with the boon flair- but from spending time at my bff's house, with two kids(currently 1 yr and 3 yrs) i really like what she uses and thought I would share. Im pretty sure its the fisherprice ones that strap to a chair. From what I see, a tray would be a must have unless the chairs or boosters elevat to get them to the right table height. They do alot of picking up their own food etc when they are ready and the parents just dish out bits at a time on the tray. plus i feel like there might be some holes to put toys in while you are getting the food ready? I am not explaining this correctly. I think its an attachemnt similar to the toys that hang over a bouncy seat? Ill see if I can find a link...
here it is:

I don't know if this is the exact one they have but im pretty sure it is a fisher price version of this...hope this is helpful.

Tacori thanks for asking about me, and NF and snlee thanks for the advice about clogs. In the end, I don''t think I had a clog, just a little blister from a bad latch. At our midwife appointment yesterday I asked about it and she showed me a way to latch Hunter so he gets a bigger mouthful of booband that seems to have really helped! It isn''t perfect, but it makes it only uncomfortable and not painful. I am still working on it, but I think things are getting much much better. Abd our little suckling piggy is fattining up nicely, he weighed 9lbs yesterday! Which is a gain of one oz. per day, so I guess things are going well on the feeding front.![]()
Question for BFing moms: When did you introduce binkies? I don''t want it to interfere with establishing BFing, and we are both still learning, but I think he really needs it to calm down and sleep sometimes...
